Your thoughts on North Korea and how Obama will and/or should respond?

WASHINGTON – North Korea could be almost ready to carry out its threat to conduct a nuclear test, a U.S. research institute said, pointing to recent satellite photos.

The images of the Punggye-ri site where nuclear tests were conducted in 2006 and 2009 reveal that over the past month roads have been kept clear of snow and that North Koreans may have been sealing the tunnel into a mountainside where a nuclear device would be detonated.

The CEO of Google just went to North Korea.
If the people of North Korea get the internet they might understand the rest of the world better and become a more normal country.

Food security is a much more pressing issue then Internet access.

As for what the Obama administration should do, work on disengaging the US from the conflict. South Korea is a wealthy industrialized nation and it's time that they started paying for their own defense costs.

That's not going to happen but I can hope.

Unfortunately to do that, South Korea needs nuclear weapons equivalent to North Korea.

That is, or should be, an issue for the South Koreans not the US.
