I still think the Mayans are on the Old Calendar, so we still have a little over a week until we know if the world ends on December 21...

hahaha, but they also did not have a leap year.....

Quetzalcoatl jockied for a leap year off, but Tezcatlipoca and a few other evil Aztec gods entered the great coucil of Elrond in Tenochtitlan and the whole thing went to pot....

It's 09.30 and I've not had enough alcohol to attempt to pronounce that !

Anyway it's still the Fast - so I should not be drinking

And I'm not drinking till I go out for dinner this evening [ when It would be excessively rude not to partake of the goodies that will be placed in front of me

A meal I've not had to prepare and cook myself - can't remember when that last happened - August I think
