Balaam ran greedily after reward…..

Jude 1:11 KJV
(11) Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Judas fell headlong and burst asunder in the middle and all of his bowels gushed out.

Likewise, covetous pastors have run headlong after the reward of iniquity having no compassion upon the spiritually “poor” that they inflict with their deceitful teachings.

Acts 1:18-19 KJV
(18) Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

Those who have been and are being led astray are being led down the broad way to destruction……the “field of blood”. They know it not.

(19) And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.

Like the name “Judas” (meaning: praise, celebrate), they rejoice in their doings…in their wealth….in their prestige. “Praise the Lord, I am rich”! And like Judas they care not for the “poor” whom they are afflicting.

John 12:4-8 KJV
(4) Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,
(5) Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?

Judas cared NOT for the poor.

He had the “bag”. The Greek word for “bag” is glossokomon which is from the words “glossa”…. which means “TONGUE” and komeo…. "to tend, take care of”. Interestingly, the Greek word “kosmos” also comes from “komeo”. “Kosmos” = world, decoration, adornment.

Some say that it is a bag in which mouthpieces are put in….others, a box such as a casket. With the flattering tongue, they bare what is put therein. In this case, what they do bare is death to the poor as they enrich themselves….for death and life are in the power of the tongue. Their teachings are killing the innocent…the poor who know no better.

They condemn and kill the innocent who do not resist them with their tongues. Judas the “dagger man”….killing others with the dagger of the tongue.

(6) This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.
(7) Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.

The “rich man” ALWAYS has the “poor” with him. The “poor” are always lying at the “gate”…at the mouth…of the rich man…wanting to be fed. Jesus is not always found in their mouths…for only “crumbs” make it to the “poor”.

(8) For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.

The poor are always with the rich man…

Luke 16:19-21 KJV
(19) There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
(20) And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
(21) And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

The wicked boast of their heart’s desire and bless the covetous.

Psalms 10:1-18 KJV
(1) Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?
(2) The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
(3) For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

God is not in ALL of his thoughts…..

(4) The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
(5) His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
(6) He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

His mouth is full of cursing, deceit and fraud……he is preaching things he ought not be….handling the Word of God for unjust gain.

(7) His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

His mouth is used for flattery as he hides the covetousness in his heart. He DOES MURDER THE INNOCENT as his teachings takes away the “eternal life” from them. They do perish from off the face of the earth….and MANY have been led down that wide path through the wide “gate” of false prophets to their destruction.

(8) He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.

The simple are deceived by the “good words and fair speeches” of religious-sounding men. They do catch the “poor” in their “nets”.

(9) He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

He poses as a minister of righteousness….using feigned words.

(10) He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
(11) He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.
(12) Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.
(13) Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.

But our Lord will HELP the “poor” who have been deceived. “Lazarus” means “God will help”. He will send out His servants who will feed the “poor”…..the “fatherless”. Our Father is THE “Helper” of “Lazarus” who is laying at the “gate” of the rich pastors.

(14) Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
(15) Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.

The rich man will fade away in his ways…..

(16) The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
(17) LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

The “man of the earth” shall no more oppress those who have been led astray….

(18) To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

Like Daniel preached to Nebuchadnezzar, they are to break off their sins by righteousness by showing mercy to the poor. Preach them the Truth. Feed His sheep so that they may LIVE.

Daniel 4:27-31 KJV
(27) Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
(28) All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar.
(29) At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.

Do not boast in your accomplishments and riches….glorifying yourself. The rich imagine that their wealth is a “great city”. Give glory to God.

(30) The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?

The sheep shall hear the Truth and leave.

(31) While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.

The rich man’s wealth is his “strong city” and his own conceit is a high wall. Remember Nebuchadnezzar so as not to repeat his mistake in glorifying yourself

Proverbs 18:11-12 KJV
(11) The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit.
(12) Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.

Our God is rich in His mercy….His grace. Saul sat in the “house of Judas”. We share in the abundant grace that was shown to Saul/Paul….who considered himself the chief of sinners for he also persecuted the church of God.

Acts 9:11-12 KJV
(11) And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
(12) And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

This is Paul’s gospel….the GOOD NEWS: ABUNDANT GRACE shown to those who have persecuted the called-out of God…to this day.

1 Corinthians 15:9-10 KJV
(9) For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
(10) But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

For Saul also persecuted the Way unto the death….binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.

Acts 22:4 KJV
(4) And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.

Saul also gave his voice against those who were put to death. MANY were shut up in “prison”. Many were compelled to blaspheme.

Acts 26:10-11 KJV
(10) Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.
(11) And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.

“Saul” comes from the word “Sheol”….the grave. When we preach feigned words through covetousness, we are preaching death to those who are being led astray by them. Our mouth…our throat… becomes an “open grave” as we lead the MANY to their death…to the grave. We swallow them up.

Romans 3:10-18 KJV
(10) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
(11) There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
(12) They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
(13) Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
(14) Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
(15) Their feet are swift to shed blood:
(16) Destruction and misery are in their ways:
(17) And the way of peace have they not known:
(18) There is no fear of God before their eyes.

“Let us swallow them up alive as the grave….and whole…as those that go down into the pit”……

Proverbs 1:10-33 KJV
(10) My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
(11) If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
(12) Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:

And all for what? Unjust gain….

(13) We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
(14) Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
(15) My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
(16) For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
(17) Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
(18) And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.
(19) So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
(20) Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
(21) She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
(22) How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
(23) Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

Let us not refuse wisdom….

(24) Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
(25) But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
(26) I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
(27) When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
(28) Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
(29) For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
(30) They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
(31) Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
(32) For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
(33) But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

We are to be afflicted and mourn and weep….letting our laughter be turned to mourning and our joy to heaviness. Why joy in those things that are passing away? Why rejoice and laugh in our building and planting of the things of religious-sounding men? Those things are fleeting away.

James 4:8-10 KJV
(8) Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
(9) Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

We are to humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord….at the hearing of His Word of Truth…His knowledge. He shall lift us up if we should truly humble ourselves….rending our hearts.

(10) Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Let every man be swift to hear and slow to speak out in wrath…..at the hearing of the Truth.

James 1:19-22 KJV
(19) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
(20) For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

The wrath of man works not the righteousness of God. We are to humble ourselves by laying apart all of the evil things that want to come out of our mouths when we will hear His Truth. We are to remember His commandment to have love for each other as He loved us. Let us not forsake that covenant in order to respond with wrath.

We are to let go of our religious pride…our contentions…our wrath. His thoughts and ways our higher than our own “religious” thoughts and ways.

(21) Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
(22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Instead of wrath, we are to be glad and rejoice and give honor to Him for the Truth.

We are His “wife”….the tongue…. by which we are to speak the TRUE SAYINGS OF GOD. We are to prepare ourselves by putting all evil out of our mouths so that we may speak the Word of God in Truth and sincerity. He shall raise us up for His purpose….to preach the Word.

Revelation 19:7-13 KJV
(7) Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
(8) And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb…..the true sayings of God. Blessed are those who will hear the Word and KEEP it and not respond with evil.

(9) And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

He shall send His servants out to preach the testimony of Jesus. This is why we are to entertain “strangers”….their words may be the words of the Lord Himself…..for they shall speak by the Holy Spirit the TRUE SAYINGS OF GOD.

(10) And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

What shall come forth from their mouths is the Word of God….the faithful and true sayings of God….the marriage “supper”.

(11) And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
(12) His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
(13) And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

When He will return from the wedding….that is, the marriage of the Word of God with the tongue that is fully prepared in God’s will….we are to hear Him who will knock on the door of our hearts. We shall hear the Word of God spoken in Truth….the “heaven opens”….and behold, the Word of God “returns from the wedding” of the tongue that has been prepared to speak it.

The Lord will have been made Lord over that heart and mouth….the “marriage”. The marriage supper will then be the preaching of the “true sayings of God” to those who will have ears to hear. Blessed are those servants who the Lord shall find watching when He comes to the ear in the Word that will be preached by those who are fully prepared and are “married” to Him.

Luke 12: KJV
(36) And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

"Watching"....remembering to have love. Remember His covenant with us.

(37) Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
(38) And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

If the “goodman of the house” had been watching, then he would have not suffered his house to be broken through. If the pastor of a church had been awake and not sleeping in wrath, covetousness and pride, then he will heard the Word at the opportune time and will in turn preach it to his congregation.

But those who will continue to sleep in their pride and covetousness shall find one day that many of their congregations will have heard it from other sources and will have departed from them. It will be unexpected.

(39) And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
(40) Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

The servant (pastor) that will hear the Word but will say in his heart that the Lord delays His coming….because he will not recognizing the words of the SENT “menservants” and “maidens” as the words of our Lord…shall begin to “beat” them with evil words and accusations. They will beat those who are sent by Him to preach the true sayings of God because they hear but will not believe.

Luke 12:41-46 KJV
(41) Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?
(42) And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
(43) Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
(44) Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

Instead, they will approve of each other for their evil speaking …..to eat and drink with the fellow covetous. But the Word that the “menservants” and “maidens” speak shall be the Word of God that comes from the wedding upon a white horse and He that sits upon him is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

(45) But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
(46) The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

History shall repeat itself….as Diotrephes did not receive those who were SENT, there will be men in the churches today who will also prate against His servants….beating upon the “menservants” and “maidens” with their malicious words.

The Lord shall remember their deeds which they will do as they will prate against those who are sent to preach the Word of God in Truth with malicious words. They will refuse to receive the words of “strangers” and will also forbid others to…and will cast any out of the church who will receive them.

3 John 1:9-10 KJV
(9) I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
(10) Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.

But blessed are those when men shall hate you and when they shall separate you from their company and shall reproach you and cast out your name as evil for the Son of man’s sake.

Luke 6:
(22) Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
(23) Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
(24) But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.

We are His flesh and bone….the Son of man…in this earth. Jesus IS COME in the flesh of those who have made Him Lord over our hearts and minds. They will not recognize the Lord when He comes in those who are sent to preach His words of life and spirit.

Matthew 24:44 KJV
(44) Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

We are to let our lights be burning….not forgetting to have love for each other.

Hebrews 13:1-2 KJV
(1) Let brotherly love continue.

So that we should not forget to entertain “strangers”….for their words may be that of God. Let us not respond with evil words to His “angels” ….messengers…. whom we may not recognize at first. Let us be followers of Christ by showing love towards all.

(2) Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
(3) Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

The mouth is to be undefiled. Let it be without guile…without covetousness. The “whoremongers and adulterers” are those who will continue to use their mouths to preach feigned words through covetousness in order to deceive.

(4) Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
(5) Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
(6) So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
(7) Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
(8) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

We are to leave it all behind….all of religious-sounding men’s teachings, commandments and traditions. We are not to go back and get our cloaks of covetousness…our strange teachings. Remember Lot’s wife.

(9) Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
(10) We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
(11) For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
(12) Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

We are to go unto Him without the camp bearing His reproach. We are to depart from the company of covetous men…and they will think it strange that we will not run with them anymore and will speak evil of us as “evil doers”. Their persecutions = bearing His reproach as we go forth unto Him from their things.

(13) Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

We have no continuing city there….but are seeking one to come.

(14) For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
(15) By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
(16) But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

It will be just like in the days of Lot. They did eat, drink, bought sold, planted and built. So shall religious-sounding men today continue to do until you shall leave their company.

Luke 17:28-33 KJV
(28) Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

The same day that you will leave their company shall it rain “fire and brimstone from heaven”….that is, they shall speak evil of you as you leave them. They will persecute you….but don’t look back. Don’t be afraid of man. Don’t render evil for their evil. The tongue is a fire…which shall destroy them all….as the Lord shall reward them for their doings. The Lord shall judge His people.

(29) But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
(30) Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Let us depart from them without their covetous things…leaving it all behind. Let us lose our own thoughts and ways for His.

(31) In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
(32) Remember Lot's wife.
(33) Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

If we can prepare ourselves….knowing His will, then we shall be raised up by Him so that we might preach His Word...preaching Jesus. It is like a “marriage”. It is like a “birth”.

“Mary” meaning “bitter” signifies our humbling ourselves….letting our laughter be turned to mourning instead. We are to humble ourselves in the “sight of the Lord”…..upon receiving His knowledge of the Truth.

James 4:9-10 KJV
(9) Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
(10) Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Mary did not speak evil of the messenger “Gabriel”…which means “man of God”.

(11) Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

If we humble ourselves to the knowledge presented by the “man of God”, then we will have found favor with God.

Luke 1:30-35 KJV
(30) And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

Then He shall lift us up…..so that we may preach JESUS. We shall “bring” forth a Son from the mouth. We shall preach Jesus.

(31) And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
(32) He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
(33) And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

We shall not “know a man”….that is, evil speaking….guile….deceit….fraud.

(34) Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

But we shall speak in the Holy Spirit….preaching Jesus who shall make others who hear the sons of God.

(35) And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

As many who can receive Him, to them He gives the power to become the sons of God…to them that believe on His “name”….that is, His authority.

John 1:11-14 KJV
(11) He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
(12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

The sons of God are not born by the will of the flesh nor of the will of man but of God.

(13) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

And it is His Word that we are to preach to others via the Holy Spirit. The Word is made flesh if we DO it. The Word is “eternal”….and those who will do it shall live to the Age….having “eternal life” in the here and now.

(14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

He that receives those who preach Jesus, receives Him and the Father who sent Him.

Matthew 10:
(40) He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

The preaching of the Word to others is like a wedding supper….one in which the Lord, the hidden man of the heart, is married to the tongue that is a “virgin”….not speaking any evil. No guile is found in their mouths.

Revelation 19:7-21 KJV
(7) Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
(8) And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

What they will preach is the “true sayings of God”….the marriage supper of the Lamb.

(9) And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Those who will preach His Word of Truth are servants….brothers that have the testimony of Jesus married to their tongues. They are human beings….a son of Man. They are not to be worshipped….only God is to be worshipped who sent them.

(10) And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

What comes out of their mouths is the Faithful and True….the powerful Word of God.

(14) And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

And those who will reject Him and will receive not His words shall be judged by the Word that was spoken to them.

John 12:48 KJV
(48) He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

The Word shall judge those who will speak evil of the Word….

Revelation 19:
(15) And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
(16) And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

The “fowls that fly in the midst of heaven” are the evil WORDS that men shall speak as they oppose the preaching of the Word of Truth. Their own WORDS shall judge them as men in the flesh. Words are like birds….think about what “Twitter” represents”. Birds are the words of men.

(17) And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
(18) That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

Every idle word that men shall speak (the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven…the air), they shall give an account thereof in the day of Judgment. By our words shall we be justified and by our words shall we be judged.

Matthew 12:34-37 KJV
(34) O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
(35) A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
(36) But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
(37) For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Revelation 19:
(19) And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
(20) And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
(21) And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

The good news is to be preached to the “dead” also….those who will speak evil of us.

1 Peter 4:4-7 KJV
(4) Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
(5) Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

The good news is preached to them so that they might be judged according to men in the flesh….as their own words shall bring afflictions to their flesh….the destruction of the flesh in the day of Judgment.

(6) For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

So we are to be “sober”….and not “drunk” in wrath and evil speaking because we do not agree with what is preached. We are to WATCH unto prayer.

(7) But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

We are to give more earnest heed to the things we hear…..

Hebrews 2:1-4 KJV
(1) Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

…for in the Day of Judgment, every word spoken by His messengers is stedfast. Every transgression and disobedience shall receive a just “recompence of reward”.

(2) For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation that is being preached to us today?

(3) How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
(4) God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

Salvation is the preservation of our whole BODY, soul and spirit in the HERE AND NOW….and not in the “afterlife”. It is life NOW! Jesus came into this world so that we might have life IN this world. We are not to be OF the world but kept from its evil. We are to be kept “alive and remaining” unto the coming of the Lord.

NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME. Behold, NOW is the day of SALVATION! NOW is the day of our preservation. It is TODAY….now….now….now. Let us not be deceived by the covetous words of the flattering tongues of religious-sounding men that the “eternal life” is in the sweet “by and by” when it is NOW.

2 Corinthians 6:1-18 KJV
(1) We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
(2) (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

The apostles gave no “offence” in anything. They did not put a stumblingblock in anyone’s path so that they might “trip” into sin…. into the grave. They worked with their own hands so that the ministry was not blamed. They endured hardships…..they did not render evil for evil….they labored will all love….and did not demand things from their listeners.

(3) Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
(4) But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
(5) In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
(6) By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
(7) By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
(8) By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
(9) As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
(10) As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Their mouth is opened unto us and their heart is enlarged. They are telling us the Truth…. and we should return the love to them as they show us.

(11) O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.
(12) Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.
(13) Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.

And here is the heart of the matter. Here is their plea….their command: We are not to be unequally yoked together with the unbelievers.

The “unbelievers” are those who call themselves “Christians” but will not believe in the Word of Truth when they will hear it in this coming time.

(14) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
(15) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

What agreement do we have with “idols”? Covetousness is idolatry. Covetousness is the “abomination of desolation” that we are to flee from. All of man’s religious commandments and traditions have been motivated by covetousness in the past or in the present.

(16) And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
(17) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
(18) And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

We are to come out from among them so as not to share in their sins and their plagues. We are not redeemed with the corruptible things that were introduced by the church fathers. Their things were motivated by covetousness.

1 Peter 1:18-23 KJV
(18) Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
(19) But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
(20) Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
(21) Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Their corruptible things have led us away from having love for one another and into the “grave” where there is envying, strife, divisions and hatred of one another.

(22) Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
(23) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

The corruptible things of religious-sounding men have led MANY into their destruction. Their houses are houses of horror where they have sacrificed MANY by their false words….leading them astray from having love for one another and into the grave. They have delivered MANY to pass through the “fire”.

Ezekiel 16:20-21 KJV
(20) Moreover thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter,
(21) That thou hast slain my children, and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire for them?

The fire alarm has to be pulled so to speak so that the houses of horror can be evacuated. We are to save with fear, pulling others out of the “fire” hating even the garment spotted by the flesh….the covetous teachings of religious-sounding men.

Jude 1:17-23 KJV
(17) But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
(18) How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
(19) These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
(20) But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
(21) Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
(22) And of some have compassion, making a difference:
(23) And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

MANY have been led to their destruction….the destruction of the physical body….because of the falsehoods many are preaching. The sacrifices of false prophets are to idolatry….to covetousness. They have “sacrificed” their sons and daughters unto devils….covetous teachings and practices…worldly things. People are being “sacrificed” in their houses of “worship” to the covetous practices of men…to sin. The deceitful tongue is the dagger by which they sacrifice people upon the altar to their greed.

They have come in among us to steal and destroy….stealing money and THE life that we are supposed to have in the here and now. The Word has to be preached to the “lost sheep”….the perishing sheep… who have been enslaved by those who are leading them to their own destruction.

Psalms 106:35-39 KJV
(35) But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
(36) And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
(37) Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
(38) And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
(39) Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

Again, we are not redeemed with the corruptible things that have been handed down by tradition from our “fathers”….the church fathers who had strayed away from keeping God’s commands so long ago. The “children” have continued in their sinful ways and thoughts. They have been made to pass through the “fire” of their destruction because of the covetous teachings that were introduced and still are being sown.

1 Peter 1:17-20 KJV
(17) And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
(18) Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

We are redeemed by the precious blood of Christ… who is being revealed in these last times to us who had been living in the darkness ….in the ignorance…of religious-sounding men’s teachings and commandments.

(19) But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
(20) Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

MANY have gone their own way ….after their father’s erroneous ways and thoughts ….for MANY have carried their covetous teachings forward toward future generations. Many have entered through the wide gate and broad way that leads to destruction….to the “fire”…to the grave….to the death of the physical body. False prophets have led MANY away from having love for one another…..which is the law and the prophets.

Matthew 7:12-15 KJV
(12) Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

MANY go in……

(13) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
(14) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

MANY are being destroyed because of the false prophets whose “good words and fair speeches” are just but a cover for their covetousness. Following them leads you to your grave….and MANY have gone in that direction and are wandering towards it.

(15) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

We can not truly live among them in their denominations, envying, strife and hatred of one another . We can not live among those who seek their own vain glory. Not every one who says “Lord, Lord” shall enter into the kingdom of heaven….for they do not do the will of the Father which is in heaven. We have to come out from among them touching not the unclean thing….covetousness….the abomination of desolation.

Matthew 7:21 KJV
(21) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Their gifts are polluted in that they cause to pass through the fire ALL that “open the womb” as shown in Ezekiel 20..

What is the FIRST thing that comes out of the womb but the physical body. Before we know anything….before we have spoken anything….before we have thought anything and have done anything, we are a physical body first. First the natural man then the spiritual. What comes out of our mouths is from the heart. It is the spiritual…of the breath.

The false prophets cause many to lose their lives…their physical bodies…. because of their deceptive teachings and covetous practices….the abomination of desolation.

Ezekiel 20:
(26) And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD.
(27) Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me.
(28) For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.
(29) Then I said unto them, What is the high place whereunto ye go? And the name thereof is called Bamah unto this day.

We are not redeemed by the corruptible things of our church fathers…..which were all motivated by their covetousness. We can not continue in their things.

(30) Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations?

People are being led to their destruction…the “fire”…. because of those things… “even unto this day”…even NOW.

(31) For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.

We can not bear good fruit by following after the vain commandments of men and their traditions and their seeking after vain glory….for they lead us away from the Truth and into the grave. We are hewn down and cast into the fire. MANY have been “hewn down” and cast into the fire of destruction from off this earth. We have the graveyards of many church goers as proof.

Matthew 7:19 KJV
(19) Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

We have to remove the “stumbling block” that are causing men and women to “trip” into the grave.

Isaiah 57:14-21 KJV
(14) And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.

God shall dwell in those who are of a contrite and humble “spirit”….that is, breath. Those who will hear and believe in the Truth shall not rail against it but will confess it with their mouths. Blessed are those who are “poor in spirit”….poor in the breath …as they will withhold themselves from speaking out in evil. He that is born of God can not sin…speak out in evil against what he hears and believes in.

God shall revive…make to LIVE…. the spirit of the humble and revive the heart of the contrite ones.

(15) For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
(16) For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

The “abomination of desolation” is covetousness. We have been smitten because of it and the wrath of God has been upon us…but MANY have continued to go idolatrously after the covetous ways of their hearts.

(17) For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.

But our God is full of mercy….we are “saved” by His grace.

(18) I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

He shall HEAL us of sin and death…..

(19) I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.

But the wicked will not believe in what they will hear. They shall cast up “mire and dirt” from their mouths against the Truth and against those who will preach it. There is no peace to the wicked.

(20) But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
(21) There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

We are to come out from among them so as not to share in their sins and plagues. We are to depart and not look back. We are to leave it all behind….all of their denominations….all of their commandments…all of their traditions….all of their teachings….all of their education. They will not understand this and will think it strange and will speak evil of us. Let the dead bury their dead for they shall continue in their own ways….perishing in their own corruption. Let us not make excuses to stay put. Let us not linger like Lot did in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Luke 9:59-62 KJV
(59) And he said unto another, Follow me.But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
(60) Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.
(61) And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.

Remember Lot’s wife. Do not look back.

(62) And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

The righteous “perish”….that is, they die to the body of sin that religious-sounding men are a part of. The righteous shall leave the company of men who call themselves “brothers” but are covetous. Merciful men are “taken away” from their company. The righteous are “taken away” from the company of religious-sounding men so as not to suffer the evil that is to come upon the unbelievers of the churches. We are to depart from them so as not to be consumed in their sins.

Isaiah 57:1-13 KJV
(1) The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

Those who will depart from the wicked of the churches shall enter into His peace. Each one shall walk in his uprightness.

(2) He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

But the unbelievers of the churches shall speak evil against them and against His Word of Truth.

(3) But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the harlot.

They will open their mouth wide to speak evil and will scoff. They will deride those who will believe in the Truth.

(4) Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,

They slay the children with the falsehoods that come out of their mouths….the “valleys”. An open mouth is a “valley”. The thief only comes to steal and destroy those whom they afflict with their falsehoods.

(5) Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?
(6) Among the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even to them hast thou poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive comfort in these?
(7) Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.
(8) Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.
(9) And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and didst send thy messengers far off, and didst debase thyself even unto hell.

They will not lose their “lives”…that is, their souls…the own religious thoughts and ways…for His thoughts and ways.

(10) Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved.
(11) And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?

Their works shall not profit them and He will declare their “righteousness”.

(12) I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.
(13) When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;

The “beggars” of the churches shall “die” to sin…..leaving the presence of the rich pastors who do not feed the sheep. They shall BELIEVE what is being preached…..the messengers of the Truth shall carry them into Abraham’s bosom. The poor are chosen to be rich in FAITH. The poor shall be exalted while the rich man shall be humbled….being made low.

Luke 16:22-26 KJV
(22) And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

The rich man shall be in “hell”…that is, Hades which means “unseen”. He shall NOT KNOW what shall cause him his own troubles. The wicked shall not know what they stumble for they are still out in the darkness.

“Lazarus” shall be taken away from his presence. No longer shall he lie at the “gate”…at the mouth of the rich pastor who only feeds himself in his covetousness. The rich men shall not understand why people will be leaving their churches….but they are to be taken out of the way from the evil to come.

Compare this to Isaiah 57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

(23) And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

What caused the torment of the “rich man”? It was his TONGUE.

(24) And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Compare this to Isaiah 57:4. It is the “wide mouth” that is the “great gulf fixed”. It is the tongue that shall bring them their torment.

Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,

(25) But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
(26) And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Their judgment shall be fixed for their disobedience….transgressing against Him. Their “worm” shall not die. The Hebrew word “worm” comes from “yala” which means “to blurt or utter inconsiderately”. Their tongues shall not cease from speaking evil and so their fire shall not be quenched. Their judgment is in the HERE AND NOW in the flesh (and not in some eternal hell fire as popularly taught)….for they will be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Isaiah 66:24 KJV
(24) And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

The “rich man” was in “hell”…that is, the “unseen”. He did not know at what he stumbled….neither shall the wicked know in this coming time.

Proverbs4:
(19) The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

Their ways shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness…..

Jeremiah 23:10-15 KJV
(10) For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.
(11) For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.
(12) Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
(13) And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.
(14) I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
(15) Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.

We are to receive the sayings of His wisdom…..for the years of our life in the here and now shall be MANY… “eternal life”.

Proverbs 4:10-27 KJV
(10) Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.
(11) I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.
(12) When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.
(13) Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.

We are to “die” to the path of the wicked and go not with them.

(14) Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
(15) Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.

There is no peace to the wicked which are like a troubled sea.

(16) For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.
(17) For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.
(18) But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

The “rich man” was in “hell”…that is, the “unseen”. He did not know at what he stumbled….neither shall the wicked know in this coming time.

(19) The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
(20) My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
(21) Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

His words are LIFE and spirit….and those that find them shall have health to all of their flesh. We are to have FAITH to be made WHOLE...body, soul and spirit!

(22) For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
(23) Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Those that will love life and see good days….a long life..."eternal life"…shall refrain their tongues from speaking evil and guile.

(24) Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
(25) Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
(26) Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
(27) Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

How will religious men respond to the knowledge of the Truth when they will hear it? Will He find them “sleeping” or “watching”? Will they show brotherly love to the messengers of God or will they forget His words to have love for their brothers and speak out in evil?

Will they receive the messengers who were sent by God and His Son?

Matthew 10:40-42 KJV
(40) He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
(41) He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

Will they give those who are sent a “cup of cold water”…..a refreshing, loving response…..

(42) And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

…or will they add “drunkenness” to thirst….that is, evil wrath and pride in response to the preaching of the Word of Truth? The messengers shall “thirst” just like Jesus did…..

John 19:28-30 KJV
(28) After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

And yet, they spoke evil of him…railing upon him….mocking him …as their hearts were full of “vinegar”…sour wine….drunkenness…evil, pride and wrath. They spoke out in wrath and put it to His mouth yet Jesus did not render evil for their evil. He is the example that we are to follow when confronted with the evil contention and disobedience of His people…..and with all men.

(29) Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.
(30) When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

We are to withdraw from such….from those who will not consent to “wholesome words”….that is, the healthy words seeing that they will not follow His commandment to have love for one another (the doctrine which is according to godliness). We are to cease speaking to them….giving up the Spirit.

1 Timothy 6:3-5 KJV
(3) If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

For such are “drunk”…..proud, envious, etc…. and are drunk in the “night”….that is, KNOWING NOTHING.

(4) He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
(5) Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
If we continue to sin….speaking evil in our “drunkenness” after we have received the full knowledge of the Truth, there remains no more sacrifice… “IT IS FINISHED”… for sins (speaking evil).

Hebrews 10:26-31 KJV
(26) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
(27) But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
(28) He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

How can we escape the judgment of the Gehenna…the open mouth that will spew hatred and evil? How can we trample upon those who were sent to preach the good news to us? How can we trodden under foot the Son of God? How can we disobey the covenant we are to keep with Him….as He gave His life for us out of love, we are to continue to show love to our brothers? How can we do despite those who will speak with the breath of grace….responding to someone who is kind with such evil?

(29) Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

How will we escape the judgment of God?

(30) For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
(31) It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Let us remember the covenant and have love for each other. Let us entertain “strangers” being unaware that they might be the messengers of God. Abraham entertained strangers. Lot entertained strangers. They showed hospitality to them. They did NOT obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath. They were not contentious. Let us not treasure up unto ourselves a hard and impenitent heart unto the day of wrath.

Romans 2: KJV
(5) But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
(6) Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
(7) To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
(8) But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
(9) Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
(10) But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
(11) For there is no respect of persons with God.

Let us not “add drunkenness to thirst” when confronted with a “stranger” who might be preaching the Truth. Let us entertain them and their words. Let us consider in all hospitality….for the Judge is at the door. Let us not think that we shall have “peace and safety” to do otherwise.

Deuteronomy 29:19-29 KJV
(19) And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
(20) The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.
(21) And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:
(22) So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it;
(23) And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:
(24) Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger?

Let us remember His covenant….His commandment…to have love for one another. Let us not give it up to speak out in evil pride and wrath. Let us be WATCHING…waking up to His righteousness at the most crucial time of our religious lives.

(25) Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:
(26) For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
(27) And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:
(28) And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.
(29) The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

Let us WATCH….be awake to His righteousness….showing love to the “strangers” who are sent by Him. Let us not be “drunk” in pride and envy and not knowing the time….in the “night”.

Matthew 24:42 KJV
(42) Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

We are to let brotherly love continue…..keeping the lights burning….

Hebrews 13:1-2 KJV
(1) Let brotherly love continue.

….and not forgetting (being asleep in the night) to entertain “strangers”….whom Jesus sends.

(2) Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Lot entertained strangers (the two angels) who came to Sodom in the evening…in the night. Lot knew the time that the Lord visited him. For he received them who were sent by Him. The Lord came “knocking” on the “door”….but he did not keep them in the streets of the city.

Lot bowed himself with his “face” toward the ground. The Hebrew word here in Genesis 19:1 which is translated “face” in the KJV is really “nostrils”…which signifies wrath. In other words, Lot was not wrathful toward what the two angels had to say. He “saw” them…he understood them. He did meet them with hospitality.

Genesis 19:1-3 KJV
(1) And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

He invited them into his house. We also are to invite His words of Life and spirit into our hearts…not keeping the Word of Truth that will be preached by His messengers out in the street. Let us hear and keep it our hearts. Lot heard the Word of Truth…the gospel of his salvation….of his deliverance from wicked men. He was not to keep company with them.

(2) And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.

The “two angels” are the Law and the Prophets….who witness about the righteousness of God (the two witnesses)….which without the law is revealed…..

Romans 3:21-23 KJV
(21) But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

They witness the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe. Lot was a believer. Lot was righteous because he was a believer.

The “two angels” are the “two witnesses”…the Law and the Prophets. We are made partakers of the inheritance of the biblical saints in light….for we shall preach the Word of Truth that they are witnesses of. We are to preach their words in Christ Jesus in sincerity and truth.

(22) Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
(23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Lot believed the Word of Truth and he kept the feast with the unleavened bread of sincerity and Truth. Lot was righteous….he was a believer…receiving them into his house. He did not rail in his wrath upon the angels. He was not a “striker”…….beating upon the servants of God with malicious words.

Genesis 19:
(3) And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

Lot did not respond to the two angels with malice and wickedness. He “entertained” them with sincerity and Truth. He recognized the Lord’s visit.

1 Corinthians 5:8-13 KJV
(8) Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

The two angels told Lot that he must depart from Sodom or be consumed in the iniquity of the city….covetousness….fornication….idolatry. We also are not to keep company with the fornicators….the covetous.

(9) I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
(10) Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.

Lot was no longer to keep company with the men of Sodom. We are not to keep company with those who will rail upon the Truth motivated by the covetousness in the hearts of men… who call themselves “brothers”.

(11) But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

It is a judgment call….

(12) For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

The men of Sodom knew Lot was going to leave them. They said that he came in to “sojourn”…and his leaving their company was a judgment upon their company. They threatened him. They did not receive the messengers ….knowing not the time of the Lord’s visit. They instead chose to do evil in the sight of the Lord. Lot had tried to make peace with them…..the “two daughters” = “peace, peace”. But they were for war.

Genesis 19:9 KJV
(9) And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

As He hears, He judges…and His judgment is just. The cry of them was waxen great before the face of Jehovah who had sent His messengers to find out if their sin was as great as its cry. Their response to the messengers showed that it was…..their sin had reached its limit.

Genesis 18:20-22 KJV
(20) And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
(21) I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

The Lord went down within the men who were sent by Him. All of the people of Sodom just saw 2 men that they could abuse….while Lot knew who they were.

(22) And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

Jesus also sent 2 men before His face into every city and place where he would come. He will also send His messengers out again in these last days.

Luke 10:1-12 KJV
(1) After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
(2) Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

He will send them out as lambs among wolves….

(3) Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
(4) Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.

The first thing: PEACE.

(5) And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
(6) And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
(7) And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
(8) And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
(9) And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

The men of Sodom did not receive the 2 men.. Only Lot received them into his house and did not keep them out in the streets of the city.

(10) But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,
(11) Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
(12) But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

The kingdom of God is near…..His judgment is near upon all of those who will behave wickedly against the Word of Truth. We are to get “up”….arise up out of our sleep…and get out of the places of wicked men who will speak evil of the Way of Truth.

Genesis 19:12-15 KJV
(12) And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:
(13) For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.
(14) And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

Or we will be consumed in the iniquity of the city. The tongue is a fire that shall set the whole course of nature on fire…..being set of fire of “hell”.

(15) And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.

The 2 messengers are the Law and the Prophets who will be used to “destroy this place”.

Revelation 11:3-6 KJV
(3) And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
(4) These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
(5) And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
(6) These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

The Law is not made for a righteous man but for the lawless and disobedient….of which the men of Sodom had proved themselves in the face of the Lord.

1 Timothy 1:9-13 KJV
(9) Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
(10) For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
(11) According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
(12) And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
(13) Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

Our God is merciful….having abundant grace upon us…for we have all did things IGNORANTLY IN UNBELIEF.

Genesis 19:16-20 KJV
(16) And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.
(17) And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
(18) And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:
(19) Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:

“Paul” means “little”….just as “Zoar” does. Paul’s gospel is one of abundant grace. By His grace, we are “saved”.

(20) Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.

Proverbs 10:8 KJV
(8) The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.

We are to be His people…living in peace with each other….and not in divisions, envying and strife which are so prevalent now. His Word of Truth shall bring us together as living stones… to be built together as a house in which God dwells. We are to show forth the praises of Him as we shall have love for one another and having “eternal life”…..life to the coming age.

1 Peter 2:9-11 KJV
(9) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

We are not a people…..not living in ONE mind and ONE body. We are living in divisions. But because of His mercy, we shall be delivered from these factions.

(10) Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

We are made “strangers and pilgrims” here in this age that is passing away. We shall continue to sojourn in this planet….not perishing…not dying….as we wait upon the Lord to come upon the whole earth. We shall be made “alive and remaining”…being preserved wholly in body, spirit and soul. We have no continuing city here.

(11) Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

We shall ABIDE in the here and now as we make our “journey” to our destination: an earth that is the home of righteousness. We are to hear the Truth and keep His commandments. As He lives, we shall LIVE…continuing to live….and showing forth the praise of God…and holding forth the Word of Life. If we are led by the Spirit of God, we shall LIVE (since our mortal bodies shall be given THE life to continue) and not perish from off the earth before we reach the destination. We shall not perish as those whose carcasses dropped in the desert because of unbelief. We shall not be destroyed in the great iniquity of those who will speak evil of the Truth like Sodom.

Romans 8:10-14 KJV
(10) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
(11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
(12) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
(13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

By refraining our tongues from speaking evil, our mortal bodies are kept in check ….and preserved by the power of God. This is foolishness to those who are perishing from off this earth…not having “eternal life”.

1 Corinthians 1:18 KJV
(18) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

The preaching of the cross….where Jesus who suffered for us did not return evil for evil. He did not sin….speak evil….as he did not revile in return when he was reviled. He did not threaten when he suffered. We are “saved”…preserved wholly in mortal body, soul and spirit if we FOLLOW after Him….in His footsteps. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead shall give life also to our mortal bodies NOW….not after we “die and go to heaven”.

1 Peter 2:21-25 KJV
(21) For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
(22) Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
(23) Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
(24) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

We were once as sheep going astray when we lived among them who are bogged down in their denominations of strife, envying and hatred of one another. But NOW we are returned unto the Shepherd….if we can DO what He says. If we love Him, we are to keep His commandments and be separate from those who will not understand.

(25) For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

Many church people will not TRULY understand the “preaching of the cross”….and their leaders shall speak evil of the things that they will not understand because of the covetousness in their hearts that shall blind them to the good news of THE life in the here and now. Many shall follow the “pernicious ways” of the false teachers who will deny….contradict and oppose….the Lord who had bought them.

2 Peter 2:1-3 KJV
(1) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
(2) And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
(3) And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

The men of Sodom threatened Lot….but his “door” was shut. He did not render evil for their evil….for Lot believed in the preaching of the cross.

Genesis 19:10-11 KJV
(10) But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.

The men “wearied themselves to find the door”…..that is, they continued in their lawless attack upon Lot seeking sin…evil speaking…from him. But Lot was silent toward their prating with malicious words.

(11) And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

The men of Sodom were struck with blindness….for the Lord knows how to reserve the unjust unto the Day of Judgment to be punished. The Lord knows how to deliver Lot out of temptations…out of the temptations to return evil for evil. The “god of this age” shall blind all of those who will speak evil of the Truth. In their unbelief, they shall continue to handle the Word of God deceitfully supposing that gain is godliness. They shall continue to preach themselves.

2 Peter 2:9-12 KJV
(9) The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

They shall despise government…being bold men….and will not be afraid to speak evil of dignities….those who were sent to preach the Word of Truth.

(10) But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

The “door” was shut to the men of Sodom even though they wearied themselves to find the door. No railing accusation was made against them (the door was shut) before the Lord even though they thought the preaching of the cross was foolish….as they were not afraid to speak evil.

(11) Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

They would utterly perish in their own corruption……being consumed in the iniquity of the city.

(12) But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

“Eternal life” is in the here and now….not after we “die and go to heaven”. NOW is the day of our salvation….our health…our safety…our preservation in body, soul, and spirit. The power of God keeps us from perishing away like the rest of this world.

2 Corinthians 6:1-2 KJV
(1) We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
(2) (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Our Lord came into this world so that we might have life in this world. He did not pray that we be taken out of this world but to be kept from its evil.

John 17:15-18 KJV
(15) I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
(16) They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
(17) Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
(18) As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

Here in this dark world is where we praise God and show forth His praises…like the stars of the night. Here is where the good news is to be preached. He has abolished death….making it idle…making it useless. We who will hear and do what He says shall not fear death for death shall be render idle.

He has brought THE life and immortality to light through the good news. This life is in the here and now.

2 Timothy 1:8-10 KJV
(8) Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
(9) Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
(10) But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

The wages of sin is death. If people are dying, then sin must be reigning over their lives. Many have been led astray by the false words of false prophets. They are being led down the wide path to the destruction of their mortal bodies. Death is death.

But the gift that we have NOW is “eternal life”….life to the coming age…through Jesus Christ whom we make Lord over our thoughts and ways. He comes to give us His knowledge so that we may escape from those who are living in error…in the grave.

Romans 6:22-23 KJV
(22) But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
(23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Lord has power over all flesh that He should give “eternal life” NOW to as many that have been given to Him.

John 17:1-3 KJV
(1) These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
(2) As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
(3) And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

All flesh is as grass which withers away. But if we DO the Word of the Lord, we shall endure to the coming age (“for ever”)…because of the gift of “eternal life” given to us in the here and now. The glory of man shall fall away as this age will come to an end…but those who shall endure to the end shall be raised up in His glory.

1 Peter 1:22-25 KJV
(22) Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
(23) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
(24) For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
(25) But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

It is the power of God that shall keep us in the here and now. We have this treasure in “earthen vessels”.

2 Corinthians 4:7-11 KJV
(7) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Everyone that shall live godly in Christ Jesus shall be persecuted from their very own who will not understand why you will no longer run with them after their church things…..but those who will be persecuteded shall not be forsaken nor destroyed.

(8) We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
(9) Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

Suffering the persecution from others who will not believe is the bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus. We are to be faithful unto the death….not rendering evil for their evil speaking. We shall do this so that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body….our mortal flesh….as we shall continue to live as He lives. Our Lord is ALIVE and we shall remain ALIVE. We were once dead in trespasses and sins but by His grace we are “saved”.

(10) Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
(11) For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

We are His purchased possession. We have this treasure in earthen vessels so that we may CONTINUE MANY DAYS.

Jeremiah 32:13-19 KJV
(13) And I charged Baruch before them, saying,
(14) Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.

We shall continue until the whole earth is filled with His knowledge.

(15) For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.

He has chosen us before the “foundation” (Greek: katabole =throwing down) of the world. He chooses us before this world comes to an end .

Ephesians 1:4-23 KJV
(4) According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
(5) Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
(6) To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
(7) In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
(8) Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

He makes known unto us the mystery of His will….

(9) Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

….as He will gather ALL things together in Christ. We shall live to see this….continuing many days in this earthen vessel.

(10) That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

We have obtained an inheritance in the here and now….eternal life…life to the fullness of times…life to the coming age.

(11) In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

We inherit “eternal life” so that we should be to the praise of His glory who first trusted in Christ. We are His purchased possession.

(12) That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
(13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
(14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
(15) Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
(16) Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

He shall give unto us the breath of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed and this evidence which is open (spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him) ; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days. We shall continue many days….having “eternal life”…having the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him being put into our earthen vessels.

(17) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
(18) The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

We shall continue “many days”…..according to the working of His mighty power which He wrought in Christ when He raised him from the dead and set him at His own right hand in the heavenly places. But we have to BELIEVE.

(19) And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
(20) Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
(21) Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
(22) And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
(23) Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
