Its about the BinLaden raid on his compound leading to his death.

What a riviting book and one that made me proud of our Military and in particular, Seal Team 6 ... a very elite group of Soldiers .

It was amazing to read that BinLaden didnt retaliate with the AK47 that was in his bedroom against the wall , as he had tons of time knowing the Seals were methodically storming the Compound from all the noise of Gun Fire , C4 explosive, and from the Helicopters --- yet he stayed in his bedroom not defending himself or the very ideals he so often preached to his murdering Terrorist Devotees .

What did you think of the book ?

P.S> THANK YOU MUCH for serving our Nation

Sorry, but SF and Delta Force are more elite than the Navy Seals. I think the assasination of Osama was overhyped and 10 years too late.

Considering the enormous importance of bringing Bin Laden to accountability for all the evil he committed to innocent people...his death was not overhyped, but a profound accomplishment to humanity which needed to be discussed and celebrated.

I believe SEAL TEAM SIX in particular is more elite .

I am reading it right now and thoroughly enjoying it. I think I am going to be writing a paper on it for school (it is up to my mom, I am 14 and home-schooled). I am about half-way through and so far I like it. I just wish it all had happened sooner.

Wait till you get to the chapter titled : Geronimo .
If you want any input from me to include in your essay, let me know.

Thanks. I am going to be reading c. 10 tonight. I am trying to get a chapter a day. Sure, just as soon as I can get enough posts to use the private messaging I am open to suggestions.

I am just curious about what you think about something else, also. You see, God showed me about a month ago that I am supposed to be in the military, and I am happier and more confident than I have ever been now that I know what He showed me. But you see, my mom doesn't believe women should be in the military, so I haven't been able to get up the nerve to tell her. I was almost ready Saturday, and when I brought up the topic she started going on and on about why women shouldn't be in the military. So now I am stuck again. Any suggestions?

God Bless,
Ashleigh

Well....thats a tough one when you dont get your Parents approval on something so important to you. But, wont it be a few more years before you can enter the military anyway since youre only 14 ? Maybe by then she will have a different opinion when she sees you STILL have the desire to join and because you will be more mature then (??) . Im sure you can understand your Moms concern with her precious daughter maybe being in harms way. But, I would pray for continued and stronger indications that you truly are being called by God for the military...and, pray that he will change your Moms mind too. It would make things much better between you if you had her blessing when the time comes. Until that time comes, i would see if you can talk to women who are already in the military that are young, and see how they describe being in it . I believe 15% of our total Troops are Women now a days , so, that represents a large number. But id do some research and talk to female Soldiers to get all the ins and outs .

Yes, and I understand that. But you see I am thinking West Point, so I only have about two years, and until then I need to be taking really advanced classes and trying to keep up a 4.0 GPA. When I told her that God had showed me "something that I wasn't ready to share," and I told her when, she actually guessed the army, but after she had just said she wasn't sure that God even intended for women to be in the army there was no way that I was going to admit it. But I have taken too much of an interest in my grades lately, and that is making my mom suspicious too, because I shrugged off a 65 one time, but today I started crying over an 85, because it was barely a B. It is an honors course, so that will help me pull it up, but I don't know. And my first high school science I ended up with either a C+ or a B-. So I just don't know how I am going to get all of this together if I don't tell her soon. But it is getting harder and harder. And so much for thinking my dad would be ANY help, I think he is going to be worse than my mom, considering what she said about how he feels about women doing something she is okay with. I just don't really see where it is a biblical issue, except in that we need to do what God tells us too. And the whole thing about the danger, I mean she doesn't even really know this is a consideration, although there have been a few indicators, if she has been paying any attention. Like the time I "accidentally" ordered books on basic training, or the "add for the army came up by accident", but they have been spread a couple of weeks apart, and the information goes with government, so I can tie that into that. I have been praying for those indications, and the things that have come up, like a girl I know who is in college and has been wanting me to call her is thinking the same thing, and another friend of mine is thinking he is going to go with rotc in college, then the army. So there have been quite a few things coming up lately, and people like that girl I know, you know that I can talk too, and just things tying together. My love for America, and I have always kept in good shape, wanting to be a professional athlete, and things are just all starting to fit together, like the pieces of a puzzle. I will be praying that. I have just been crying out to God to make her see. Oh definitely. I am going to do what He says regardless, but I am really nervous about doing anything that my mom isn't going to approve of. I just really don't know how to find women to talk to about it. I have a couple of friends with military parents, and I mentioned that one friend of mine, obviously she knows a lot and she is very seriously considering it, but other than that, I don't know how without my mom's help. Also, I really only want to talk to christians for now, I am getting enough of the junk in the political world. I am definitely burying myself in research. I have a thick layer of library books on the bottom of my clothes drawers, and a couple in my bag, along with my nice thick binder of notes/definitions/acronyms/etc. So anyway, I really am praying about this, and praying that God will change my parents hearts on the issue.
God Bless,
Ashleigh

I just wanted to ask if I could take you up on your offer to help with my book report on No Easy Day. I just need sugestions to get me started.
Now I understand a lot more about what you said, and the whole thing was just, well, I don't know how to explain it. I was shocked that Bin
Laden didn't retaliate too. The only thing I didn't like about the book, was, for my 14 year old self who has grown up in an almost totally
christian safe environment, the language was a little strong, but I just have to get used to that.
Thanks,
Ashleigh

I watched an interview with the book's author some months ago. Very inspiring.
God bless the SEAL teams in this nation.

Didn't something happen to those same members of SEAL team 6 months after the Bin Laden success?
I remember there was something in the news about a SEAL team being shot down over Afghanistan, but not sure if it was that team.

Anyone? :( ((Any team is a tragic loss if that is what occurred))

There was a fairly recent Seal Team 6 Operation to get a Dignitary out of holding . One Team Member was killed in the process.

I read it in one night. I had mixed feelings about the book. It was fascinating, and gave me a whole new respect for the SEALs. I can't imagine what it would be like to be married to someone who was constantly in so much danger, so I give their wives lots of credit. They really do seem selfless, and for that I'm grateful. My only question is: did Phizer sponsor the book? I swear the word ambien was used 223 times. Okay, I'm being a little dramatic, but it was used a lot.

How many of those seals have died in mysterious circumstances since the Bin Laden raid? I saw the families of 17 of them on the news demanding that the military account for what really happened when their chopper went down in Afghanistan just weeks after the raid. They said that all of those men received orders at the last minute from military brass to get onto that helicopter. Many others have been taken out in separate incidents.

Do you believe that Bin Laden was really killed in May 2011?

Do you know who Robert Gates is? He is the former CIA official who has been called the Father of Al Qaeda.

Any person who is truly a Christain and truly believes the Bible will know that there is a global satanic conspiracy that has been ongoing for thousands of years. That being said it amazes me how sheepled out most professing Christians are.
Just so we're on the same page - you believe that Bin Laden is alive, but is also not actually the founder of Al Qaeda, and that this somehow fits into some global Satanic conspiracy? What purpose does faking his death serve?

Please quote where I stated that OBL is still alive.

I said

"Do you believe that Bin Laden was really killed in May 2011?"

That is not the same as saying that he is alive.

If that is how you go about interpreting everything else you know then we have a better understanding as to why many of your conclusions are likely wrong.

OBL is probably not alive and has not been for quite some time prior to 2011.

Now, address points that I actually made instead of making up fictitious ones.

But we know that you cannot because the dialectic has your mind. You are a programmed defender of the left just as others are blinded by the right.

Ever hear of Edward Bernays? He had a lot to say about you. But you are not interested.

And one more thing.

I did notice your hero, Edward Alexander, at the bottom of your post.

Makes total sense.

No one can expect truth from you.

Ok, so if Osama Bin Laden was killed a long time ago...when, where, and how?

Why fake his death now? What purpose does faking his death serve?

Is he not the founder of Al Qaeda?

And what does Edward Bernays say about me?

And what about bringing Bush and Obama to account for their evil crimes against humanity and their pointless, murderous wars on the innocent? Would you also celebrate their deaths as well?
