The testimony that follows is a fulfillment of God's plan in which he said that in 9 months time (from August 2011) that a christian girl would make herself known to you.
My pastor Anne some time sometime in Mid 2011 that;
The Holy Spirit has interceded with me that God is preparing a Christian girl for you. You will soon be married and share the Gospel of Jesus together.
I said;
No way! Ive been single all my life there is a reason why God wants me single, it will never happen.
Around July/August 2011 I had been going to the spa next door from my work for my back. The girl that massages my back was going on holiday to Greece so another girl took her place in her absence.
We were talking about the London riots that was going on and suddenly she asked me a question that took me by surprise!
Are you a Christian?
I replied without hesitation
Yes, I am
She replied;
Aww, me too
At the moment I lost focus on the massage and relaxation and was more focused on talking to her. We spoke about, going to Church, I told her I used to sing in the Choir for 13 years and all the problems that happened with the Church which made me leave.
I also told her of my vision of hell and how Jesus saved me and how I have shared my testimony to others. She told me she loves reading peoples testimonies about how Jesus saved them from, pimping, prostitution, gangs, drugs etc. She loves to see how people have been saved from those terrible things.
Her boyfriend isnt a Christian and told me she finds it hard to talk about it to him and often keeps quiet and I said;
Well if he needs to ask you any questions or advice you are there for him
The night before I watched bits of a video on YouTube - They sold their souls for Rock n Roll
Out of the blue she said to me;
Music has a lot to do with turning people into doing terrible things and brainwashing them and Satan uses that as a tool.
Again I was amazed and said;
Wow! I was watching this video last night about music and much influence the music has on young people today and I explained further about it.
I asked her a question;
Can you give me your opinion; do you think the world is heading downhill with the things going on in the world and the collapse of the economy?
She said;
Yes it is, my father and my mother also know that time is running out and God is coming back soon!
We also feel the same when it comes to being around friends or work colleagues who swear a lot or blaspheme Gods name in vain and how much we find it difficult to deal with it.
We both agreed that so many people including the Church are asleep. She also said that in a music video of Madonna, she said to the audience You will all receive a mark and belong as one or something like that and she noticed a symbol flashing on the screen for ages. I said;
The mark of the beast
she said;
Yes I found it disturbing
Afterwards, I gave her my email so I could send her the link to my testimony on YouTube. But later at work, God told me to print it out and give it to her.
So I done that and when she saw me with my testimony in my hand she said;
What is this?
I said;
Im giving you a printed copy of my testimony for you
She said;
Aww! Thank you so much Richard this will keep me busy on the bus when I go home
She thanked me again and said she enjoyed talking to me. I felt that God had planned this for me just as my pastor had said months ago. But now I have mixed feelings. I feel happy that God done this for me, to bring me to someone who is identical to me after been alone for almost 30 years and to not find a nice Christian friend to talk to.
The other feelings I had were of sadness and I became tearful because I may not see her again and what if nothing happens or we never become friends.
I started saying this for the first time ever This is so unfair I dont want to be alone!
I heard the Holy Spirit keep me from tearing myself apart and said;
You do not know Gods plan, you do not know if God is going to bring her to you as your partner or not you must be patient and wait.
The important thing is you didnt deny your faith youre proudly said you are Christian and you gave her your testimony and shared your faith with her! The Lord is pleased with you, do not worry about events and if nothing happens or you do get together with her at some point. Leave it to God!
The one thing I know is that God done this for me, not to find a Christian friend/partner but to shatter this harden heart of mine. I had asked God many times before;
Why is my heart like a rock and so cold? Please heal this heart of mine!
Now my prayers have been answered! I just found out the following week after my massage sessions that the Christian girl that I met left because she lives outside of the city which takes her an 1 hour and a half to get into work and she couldnt do the traveling each day with all the traffic on the road.
Im sad that I wont see her again but I guess it was meant to be this way. She still has my email but I have not heard from her yet. So Im not sure what is next for me but I feel inner peace, calm, and more warmth in me that I have never felt before.
God has given me something to look forward to, that there are girls out there that have the same mind-set, personality and faith as me. So that has given me hope!
Later that evening I had just finished speaking to my pastor, Anne about the situation, and this is what she said;
"The Lord has already revealed to you the answers about the situation with this girl. Listen do not be discouraged about what the Holy Spirit has told me that I told you that you will meet a Christian girl.
God has opened your heart and has now made you realise you cant be on your own you need someone and they need you! You must let your heart be still and in 9 months time the Christian Girl will make herself known to you."
After my Christian tour trip to Israel in May of this year (2012) I came back to the Gym to go for my weekly back treatment at the Spa. One of the girls that works there informed me that there was a girl that was interested in meeting up with me because she heard I went to Israel. Her name was Milena and she and her family are devoted Christians and they were planning to go to Israel in 2013.
At first I was shy but I had the courage to make contact with her. After all these years of being on my own and suffering so much that I thought there was no one out there for me. But after meeting Milena for dinner, talking about my trip to Israel, things just grew and grew so quickly that we were soon friends. I shared my testimony to her about how Christ saved me from my sins.
2 months on and we both felt the same way about each other, we wanted to be more than friends and so we are now boyfriend and girlfriend! Very much in love with God in the center! We have now been together since May and we plan to get married sometime in the future.
There is so much love, honesty, respect and support from either sides in this relationship that this was a relationship from God, nothing could be this perfect, where two souls found each other in such a way that we know we are meant for each other. This happened just as God said it would August 2011 - May 2012 is exactly 9 months and Milena appeared on the scene! How wonderful!!
I thank God for not only keeping his promise as he always does but for loving me so much to bring me such a wonderful, caring, thoughtful and supportive young lady who I love and adore with my all my heart.
This is worthy of Gods praise because of what he has done not only for me but for Milena. God is there and will always be there for all of mankind even if people believe or not!
I know for a fact he is real and this is only one but of many wonderful wonders he has done before my eyes!
