why wait until then? why not start tonight?

(Proverbs 22:6) Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

(Proverbs 3:19) The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
(Proverbs 3:20) By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
(Proverbs 3:21) My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:
(Proverbs 3:22) So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.
(Proverbs 3:23) Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.
(Proverbs 3:24) When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

I'm gonna wait till the first of the year. It will allow me a chance to follow along with a reading plan that sticks to what day of the year it is.

Makes things a bit easier for me if it's structured in that way.

Since she has been born I haven't really read my Bible since I have been pretty busy with her. My wife and I take shifts with her, where she takes the first part of the night/morning and i take the rest of the morning so that we can both get some sleep and not be so sleep depraved.

I plan on starting again come January 1st where I will incorporate reading to her at night.

I heard the Word of God in my mother's womb as an infant, through out my childhood,
young adult years and it continues on in my adulthood.

I do believe this is why I'm so willing to repent and or forgive others.

Psalm 119:11
"I have hidden your words in my heart that I shall not sin against you."
