+1What about it? Stupid hateful people will say stupid hateful things.
Days before the election there were alot of tweets calling for romneys murder if he became president or calling for riots.
Both sides have morons.
The right-wingers insist that there is no racism except on the part of the lefties. What about it? Stupid hateful people will say stupid hateful things.

Fact, but both sides should always try to call out morons if possible.
You have to admit its more acceptable to call out white racist morons than black ones. To call out black ones is to risk getting called a racist one's self. Recently I posted a link to some tweets that were of that very kind. I was reported and my post deleted.
Some racism is a bit more acceptable than others.
First of all: yes, there are a lot of vile racist statements going on out there.
Second of all: A fair number (if not most) of what the pro-Obama, anti-Republican crowd call "racist" is imagined. In their world, ANY criticism of the president and/or his policies MUST be motivated by his race, and therefore it's racism. In their flawed reasoning, if you don't support the president and don't like his policies, there can be ONLY one reason: race. That's because it's easier to demonize and discredit his opponents as racist than it is to substantively debate and refute their positions on the issues. It's a new McCarthyism in that sense. Don't agree with the president? Racist!
Thirdly and finally: That there are REAL examples of obvious racism in some anti-Obama sentiment does not indicate that all (or even most) opposition is motivated by racism. Those who think so have some growing up to do, IMO. That said, those who oppose him, support Republican ideas and politicians, et cetera, should be more vocal in calling out those on their "own side" who are clearly crossing the line from ideas to racism. This is not very different, IMO, than many conservative calls for "peaceful Muslims" to call out the radical terrorists giving their faith a bad name.
Tainting the tea party movement with the charge of racism is proving to be an effective strategy for Democrats. There is no evidence that tea party adherents are any more racist than other Republicans, and indeed many other Americans. But getting them to spend their time purging their ranks and having candidates distance themselves should help Democrats win in November. Having ones opponent rebut charges of racism is far better than discussing joblessness.
I have no idea if its more acceptable to call out white racists instead of black ones. But either way, racists are racists and should be called out for it.
Just tell me I'm not supposed to pretend like the GOP doesn't pander to these racists by flat out ignoring their minority constituency and that's one of the reasons they lost big this election.
Mike Huckabee realizes this.
I think Republicans have done a pathetic job of reaching out to people of color,"
(and it should also be noted that it's guys like Huckabee that can turn this ship around for the GOP if they want any hope of winning elections in the future)
