Jesus would be ineligible to run for president of the US. He's too young, I suspect that age requirement would be for years on this plane of existence, and does not meet the residency nor the natural born citizen requirements.

Jesus would not run, even if He could. He was offered the chance to rule not only America, but the entire world once, and He turned it down:

Then, the devil took Jesus to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”

Jesus said to him, “Get away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”

Then the devil left Jesus, and angels came and attended him.

That is one of the craziest parts of the bible for me. The Devil offers Jesus (who is God) something which Jesus (who is God) already created, owns, and has complete control over, and somehow Jesus is held up as a paragon because he says no!

Today I am going to make you Christlike. All you have to do is answer my question with a yes/no:

Wolseely: all of your money, your house, and all of your material possessions; All this I will give you if you bow down and worship me. What say you?

I didn't know there was an age-limit for POTUS? :)

If it was the ONLY reason, you'd have a point. It isn't :)

IF you read that scripture, assuming Jesus NOT to be God (Note that my question is ENTIRELY HYPOTHETICAL), I dare say it would not sound so crazy.

Note that non-Trinitarians, such as I, are not allowed to discuss theology on CF. If you want to contact me personally on this, click on my icon and follow the labyrinth.

If you think of the Bible like a computer system, all the "craziness" is on Level 8 of the OSI model.

Well America gets what it voted for. If you want to come to Canada, too bad. As my good friend Phil said:
Well social medicine here we come and that is not a good thing. It's not free, we pay every year to the government. It doesn't cover prescriptions, eyes, teeth, chiropractic, and much more. I have to supplement it with insurance from work. Pay for people in the medical field is capped which means there is a shortage of doctors. This in turn creates long waits for doctors, specialists, tests, and surgeries. Tests and procedures are limited, so just because you need to get something done doesn't mean that you will and right away. People die waiting to get helped. Oh yes, and when you're an elderly person close to the end will you get the treatment that you need to prolong your life a few more years? You won't if it's up to Obama, because it is a waste of money. He, however, won't have to worry about that, because he is loaded and can afford private care. Now let's talk about the economy. How much more debt can we stand as a nation before another recession? Will we have to depend on communist nations such as China to buy our land and own our businesses. That is a scary thought. Then there is the moral issue. Our tax money will go to pay for abortions. Also our kids will be taught about abortion as an option in the schools without our permission. We were wanting to move back to the U.S. eventually, but we might as well stay in Canada. There is nothing left to do, but pray! God be with us.

And yet in spite of all this fearmongering, Canada has far higher standards of healthcare than the US, and pays less for it per capita.

I say Romney will win.

They say Ohio is a tie over the weekend. But looking at the turn out to see the speakers:
Obama spoke to 2800
Romney spoke to 50,000

If people don't care to take time out of their schedule to see a sitting president, they will take time to vote for him?
(Also 1 week before the election, 1st lady is speaking to Obama's base?)

The energy is on Romney's side. Obama's supporters are saying wait it out, it will get better, not much energy there.

I do love the polsters that tally up all the polls and average them. You have so many liberal bias polls it throws off the legit polls.

I think Romney will win clearly.

I think alot of Americans are ready for the election to be over. Some have siad it was the left that wanted it over, but I think its bipartisan.

Get out and VOTE!
America will get the leader they deserve, the one they need...I'm not so sure.
I was wrong.
Congradulations to Obama, his administration,
and most of all the long hard fight of the national media to get Obama re-elected, great job.
America got the president it deserves, USSA wins.

Now we'll get to see all the information on Bengazi and see if its worthy of impeachment, or Fast and furious. (Basically anything to keep them from spending money)
Hey, maybe we could see Obama's first passed budget...oh wait, we're trying to be realistic here.

Hey, maybe we could see Obama's first passed budget...oh wait, we're trying to be realistic here.

All the president does is present the budget - the people who are really at fault here are the politicians in congress. They are the ones who actually pass the budget. You should be teaching me this, it shouldn't be the other way around.

Perhaps now that Obama is back in, and won't run for re-election, the House Republicans will actually allow things to be passed instead of stalling government for political points.
