Exactly. I thought Romney was in the Obama administration last night. His foreign policy knowledge is so bad that they decided to agree to do everything Obama is doing.

You did not hear Romney agree with the Obama policies an virtually everything? I know what I heard and I am not sure which debate you were watching.

The problem, especially in the Middle east and asia is that the options are pretty limited once invasion is taken off the table, as both have done. That makes it difficult for Romney to come up with anything really different.

Both parties have shared the same basic foreign policy positions for some time now. That puts them in the tough situation of critiquing the other guy while trying to say the same thing.

^This. There is actually little difference between the two parties. The perceived differences are all superficial and down to how they spin their rhetoric. They may say different things, but when it gets down to what is actually done they're the same.

I was talking to some folks today, and abortion was brought up. Someone mentioned the idea that it had to stay a political issue so the Republicans would have something on their platform to distinguish them from the Democrats. We all laughed, but nobody disagreed (and we were a pretty diverse group). It's all political theater.

Romney had one job last night, to deny the left a headline something like: "Romney would take us into another war". He did that; and in doing that he won big. He was baited carefully by both opponents several times and he did not bite.

One difference: Romney believes we need to spend 2 Trillion dollars more on our military.

For what purpose is anyone's guess at this point.

It's absolutely mind boggling that people think he can honestly relate to the American people.

Warmonger was the last arrow in the quiver, Obama fail, Obama lost the election last night. The moderator asked: "So there is nothing further you would do in Iran?"....answer: no, but we should have acted sooner. This = game over. Romney is a smart man indeed.
