Wow! ... was just what I needed(as well as a neighbor I invited that doesn't think much of prosperity gospel preaching, but there was really nice/good inclusion of that last night. Was just what my neighbor and I needed to fill our tank.

Following is a very brief overview of Jerry Savelle’s four WoF messages this weekend with a few quotes. As an intro let me first make mention of a phrase we’ve probably all heard by now which is … “unbelieving believers.” The first time I heard this expression was from Bill Johnson several years ago, which awakened in me a realization that I’d always felt which increased my hunger for more or as Randy Clark’s book is titled, There Is More. Jerry Savelle mentioned “unbelieving believers” in his last message during the 11:00 service this mornng. I suspect that this expression has been used often enough that it’s becoming somewhat of a cliché. Its original/first use could just as well be attributed to brother Hagin or better yet it’s implied warning attributed to John (via Holy Spirit) to some of the seven churches mentioned in Revelations and previously by Jesus.

He taught/preached from Deut. 28 and how it has always been God's desire to bless His children. Also, from Philippians and how it’s often referred to as the most joyful of Paul’s letters. Yet it was written while Paul was in prison. So even though difficult days may lay ahead be of good courage not lacking in our Hopeful Expectancy, Joy and Praise.

Mike Murdock once jokingly made the following comment about Jessy DuPlantis as they are cousins.

The following is so typical of some of Jessy’s quotes one of which Jerry incorporated as a very subtle reminder that some religious people can be more of a pain/challenge to us than the world’s nonreligious that are running near empty and need to be saved, restored and built up in their Faith via the Word.

This is my third "Who Am I" run on "WoF" ministries... The previous two of E. W. Kenyon and Kenneth E. Hagin were guessed pretty quick... This third one I will make it a little harder to guess who he is... It's a little hard to put up info on these guys without being guessed right away... An example is If I were to say this one is the "father" of the WoF movement, an easy guess would be Kenyon... If I were to say, this next one is the "modern day father" of the WoF movement, again, an easy guess would be Hagin... and again if I were to say that this guy has a church near Ft. Worth, Texas and married to a woman by the name of Gloria, then you would know it would be Kenneth Copeland... Lets have a little fun and I will run my third choice of the next Word of Faith minister...

WHO AM I..?

Theres one problem with traveling as much as I do... When you're staying in a different room every few days the bathroom keeps moving... It's no big deal when the lights are on. But in the dark it can cause trouble... Once, after spending a few nights in one hotel and then moving to another, I got up in the middle of the night and walked smack into the wall... As lost as a goose in a hailstorm, I thought, Where did the bathroom door go? Yesterday it was right there..!

Of course, that was nothing compared to what I experienced the night I kicked the ottoman, and I was going home when that happened! My wife and I had just gotten back after a long stretch out of town... She and the kids had gone to bed but I was still wide awake... So I'd stay up for a while... When I finally got sleepy, I turned out the lights and headed for the bedroom... Maybe I was disoriented from our travels, whatever the reason, I forgot about the ottoman... It was heavy enough to make you huff and puff if you tried to pick it up, and when I drop-kicked it in the dark, it didn't give an inch... But my toe sure did... I heard it pop and a shock of pain shot through my whole body... I knew instantly I'd broken it...

Without even thinking, I blurted out a string of words... Before I tell you what they were, I want to ask you something: What would you have said? When some unexpected circumstances hits you, what would your first words likely to be..? You need to know the answer to that question because first words are extremely important... They license spiritual laws to go into operation... They either allow the law of sin and death to take over, or they activate the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus... The moment one of those laws is set in motion, unless you do something to stop it, it will continue to function until it accomplishes its end result...

"whosoever keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles." (Proverbs 21:23)

So, what were the first words that came out of my mouth the night I kicked the ottoman..? I'd been studying along these lines and practicing them... so the first words that flew out of my mouth were these:

"Jesus! I'm healed in the Name that's above every name."

My toe did not stop hurting right away and it was throbbing when I went to bed... The next morning when I woke up, before I even put my feet on the floor, the devil started badgering me about it... I laughed a little while; then I shut my eyes and put my socks and shoes on... My wife was making breakfast and I told her what happened about kicking the ottoman and we both agreed in my healing... later, I went to the airport and a receptionists greeted me and saw me limping and in pain... I told her that I have confessed my healing and explained what had happened and the same time ministered to her... By the time I finished the last sentence, she'd left the room...

With my toe hurting, I got back into the car to drive over to where the airplanes were parked... As I stepped out of the car and guess what..?
I put my weight down on that foot and it was totally healed and pain free... What happened..? First words..! The first words that came out of my mouth about that situation had activated the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus... They'd set in motion the law of healing and blessing and produced the end result... When you find yourself in situations similar to what happened to me, remember to be careful of the first words that come out of your mouth and put the law of the Spirit of life to work for you!

I was born on December 6, 1936 in Lubbock, Texas... Prior to my conversion to Christ in November, 1962, I was a recording artist on the Imperial Record label... having one Billboard Top 40 single (Pledge of Love) which charted the Top 40 on April 20, 1957, and stayed on the charts for eight weeks, and peaked at #12... I also appeared on American Bandstand, and featured next to Ricky Nelson in Dig Magazine...

I am Word of Faith and my ministry started in 1967 and continues on today blessing thousands of Christians in the WoF teachings... Can you guess "who am I" without researching..?

Without saying it, Bob was right... This "Who Am I" was none other than one of our own WoF teacher, Kenneth Copeland... If most of you are like me, I never knew this about Kenneth... So enjoy....

You Are Perfect In Gods Eyes

12But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God... 14For by one offering He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.

God sees you with no flaw, spot or imperfection, so honor His Word and the finished work of His Son by saying, "Amen!" Dont doubt your perfection in Christ. To see yourself as far from being perfect is not modesty, but a failure to understand the perfect sacrifice that Jesus has made for you.

The Bible tells us, "For by one offering He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified". Did you get that? You have not only been sanctified, that is, made holy, but by the same offering of His body, you have been perfected. You are both HOLY and PERFECT in Gods eyes!

Your sins have been purged perfectly. Today, Jesus is seated at His Fathers right hand not because He is the Son of God (although that is true), but because His work of purging your sins is completely finished and perfect!

So instead of being conscious of your sins, which is to have an evil conscience (Hebrews 10:22), you can have a perfect conscience, a conscience that is free from the guilt and condemnation of sins.

When you find yourself conscious of your sins, just say, "Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your wonderful work at the cross. It is a perfect work that has removed ALL (past, present, and future) of my sins completely."

"Holy Spirit, thank You for convicting me of RIGHTEOUSNESS, not my own, but Gods righteousness given to me as a gift. Keep on convicting me in the days to come, reminding me especially when I "fail" that I am "still" the righteousness of God in Christ."

Only Christs Atonement Satisfies God

1 John 2:12

If anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins

Even today, Jews still observe Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement. As the name suggests, it is a day set aside to make atonement for our sins. But for us Christians, this beautiful feast points to Jesus and what He did for us on the cross. Because of His sacrifice, all our sins have already been perfectly atoned for. (Past, present and even the future ones we have not yet committed) That is why, should we sin, we know that "we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins.

Now, it does not say that if anyone repents, we have an Advocate with the Father... It says that if anyone "sins", we have an Advocate with the Father. The moment a child of God sins, straightaway, Our Advocate, Jesus Christ, goes into action to pray for and protect us.

What about repentance then?

The word "repentance" is metanoia in the Greek, which means to change ones mind. For example, you used to believe that Jesus was just a good man. Then one day, you repented and believed that He is the Son of the living God, who died for your sins and rose again on the third day, and you gladly took Him as your Savior.

Bible repentance is not this idea of hitting or punishing yourself to atone for your sins. Dont turn it into a human work, like the man who went to a priest to confess his sins. When they were done, the priest asked the man, "By the way, what do you do for a living?" The man replied, "Im a contortionist," (one who twists and bends their body into strange and unnatural positions), and proceeded to give a demonstration. Another man came along wanting to confess his sins. When he saw the contortionist all twisted up on the ground, he said, "If this is repentance, forget it!" and ran off!

There is no need to climb the Himalayas or whip your back bloody to atone for our sins. No amount of self-punishment or crying can atone for them. Our sins have already been "punished" fully in the body of Jesus. Only His finished work satisfies God. So change your mind and simply believe that Jesus alone is the propitiation for your sins!

Given the timing of the US presidential debate, I thought that I would insert this quote from the Holy Spirit (you judge it) that references some of our part in the political process. This is several years old at least .

(Fort those of you in other countries, consider how much influence the president has in world affairs. If the US suffers, much of the world is impacted by it at some level. We give aid all over the place and if our country goes deeper into the curse, you stand to be affected to by way of the world economy.

Here's the word and judge it for yourselves and if you receive it, by all means act on it, because if we remain idle with our mouths clothed, we'll be as sleepwalkers in an important time in our history...

"When you prayed for those who are in authority that you might live peaceably, what did you believe that I intended for you to pray? When I instructed you to pray over those who are in leadership, do you think that I just expected you to speak little blessings?

I expected you to rise up with My power and give Me a voice in what is happening that it might be peaceable with you. Is it your desire to walk in the fullness of My peace with you and your children and even up to your children’s children? So therefore, gather yourself together, commune with your own heart and reach in, for many things that are tolerated I could change. I could change."

Wow, tomorrow is Thanksgiving... time is really slipping away. My wife and I have been completely wrapped up in our "ongoing situation," that we have sought prayer about in an earlier thread... BTW, thanks everyone who has, and are still keeping us in your prayers. We will not update what's going on in the forum, just too personal... not to mention, we have a long way to go. Thank you LORD, for continuing to manifest your love and wisdom to us each hour of the day, and also, for "whosoever" is calling on your NAME in their hour of need... As God said to Apostle Paul in his time of trials, "My grace is sufficient"...

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone... and always remember, whatever you are going through... "Our God Reigns."
