I recently was put on Geodon and had a pretty severe acne breakout. I know not all people experience the same side effects from meds, but i was wondering if anyone else had noticed an acne side effect from Geodon, lamictal or any other medication.

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. Has anyone ever gotten acne from Geodon or lamictal?

Ive been on Geodon for a number of years and have had no acne problems but of course that doesn't mean your not have had a reaction. Actually i don't recall any side effects. God bless

I've been on Geodon for about a year now, and have no side effects from it.
I suggest you talk to your doctor about it, or call the pharmacist who filled your prescription.

For those people who reacted to Lamictal - did you go on really slowly? The bipolar specialist place said they'd basically seen no-one react in many years. I was wondering if other places up the dosage too quickly, which causes it? I was on 25mg for 2 weeks, then 50mg for another few weeks, before going up to 100mg now.

Some physiologist can be a bit useless , but I am blessed and have a good one . And he takes the time to lesion to what I have to say and we work on the meds togeather instead of him just writing out what ever he feels like . A good physiologist is a big part of the help we need .
