Also I heard that Barack was Alone? on his 49th birthday, 1/2-way thru the term, because Michelle took the girls for a month away undisclosed.

Her speech was the same obvious appeal to emotions,
(she used the first time), as the tack used in Public-school now:
*** God's morals don't matter, only how you FEEL about them.
* Constitutional laws don't matter, only how you FEEL about them.
** Math & science don't matter: that's why we have New-math (like never Balancing Budgets), and
Science (increasing chronic diseases)

So of course, the part of the constituency that favors such, is going to also applaud such.

Aside all that tho, what about his: "FUNDAMENTALLY changing America" <- that is beyond frightening - Anyone else understand?

People who understand what the phrase actually means are not frightened by it. But there are those in this country who are appalled and scared at the thought of universal health care because they are afraid that the poor people will use up all the doctors (or so I have heard that argued).

The idea is more in line to ensure that all kids have an equal opportunity to succeed than it is promoting fathers not having to work.

I think her delivery was great - however a tad hard to believe. Obama doesn't care if you are Democrat or Republican - he only cares about you. Sure thing.
