That started a looonng time ago - enter Greenspan, and blowing a bubble after the dot.com collapse. Add some Enron, ignoring malfeasance where regulation did exist, let Wall St. flllyyy, hugely increase the shadow banking balance sheet (thank-you Phil Graham et. al.), income erosion, a couple of unfunded wars ... voila ! An intractable mess that was and is estimated will take about a decade to correct (unless we go the route of Japan, or the Eurozone).

At least, barring a disastrous mitigating circumstance, we are presently on track to be adding 250,000 jobs a month by 2016 (Moody's Analytics).

Pretty much. People make statues, etc. for people after they're dead or (to a lesser extent) out of office, but this is just creepy. When did North Korea start loaning some of KJI's artists out?

Too bad it's raining it away. The image of the crowd chanting his name would with that in the background have been hilarious... and very creepy.

Seriously guys it's just a sand sculpture. This isn't getting carved into the side of a mountain. But it's an Obama Thing which means you obligated to not like It guess.
