Again, you have to forgive me for not taking the word of someone who doesn't keep the sabbath as a proper measure for how I should keep the sabbath. It's kind of like me giving Michael Phelps swimming lessons.
You are the one being legalistic saying that using a car is like using a donkey. And it was only an example. My dog doesn't work at all. She does what puppies do.

Do you use electricity, gas or water on the sabbath? Why do I have to quote saying you admittedly and wilfully sin (violate) the sabbath to prove a fact? Accepting goods and services on the sabbath even on account (credit) is a violation the 4th as it is written on the stone tablets. You can not require anyone to work on the sabbath according to the stone tablets. Delivery of goods requires work. You may opt for a legalim and say they did not come to your home to do so. But someone is monitoring the delivery facilities and making sure the system works for such a delivery. They even repair the delivery system on the sabbath to insure this very thing as required for their service.

No I am simply applying the law and am going with the spirit of the law.
If your dog is on offical guard duty you sin. Taking advantage of her natural charatistics is sin as well if you are allowing her to perform as a guard dog on the sabbath. You can not take advantage of anything such as a dog on the sabbath without violating the 4th.

Now I did not do that. One can be what they call off grid and use electricity all they want as long as they do not use it to work for them such as refigeration, AC and lights. What you can not do according to the law is require someone else to work making that for you on the sabbath.
On can have a cistern or resivour of water and not require the pumping, treatment by someone else and have it delivered at will on the sabbath.
What ya gonna do? I say you can observe the law if you demand its observance.

What does the Scripture say on this matter? Pleas look up my word with a cut and paste of it to google, bing or whatever you have on your puter. Details make a difference.
Really? That is not the way you presented her. Are you using her as a guard dog? And are you taking advantage of her natural instincts on the sabbath, thus causing her to work. Shut her up in the back bedroom or something. Then she will not bark at the opening of the front door. It is your duty to prevent and not facilitate this according to the law.I don't believe how far you're running with this example

I wonder if it's a reading or comprehension problem that you have. Do you know what a hypothetical situation is? My puppy who hardly barks at anything. She doesn't guard a thing. She's more likely to go up to a stranger and cover them in kisses than attack. Again, I said IF.

Non-Christian Jews of today do not believe Jesus was their Savior/Redeemer. If they did, they might view the sabbath differently under the NC Jesus brought to them

Tsk, tsk, tsk. There you go, wantonly and blatantly confessing that you intentionally and unrepentantly violate God's specific commandment. concerning the Sabbath. Riding a bicycle is easier and faster than walking and does not entail kindling any fire. Surely God must have had some interest in the welfare of His people when he forbade them to kindle a fire on the Sabbath, don't you think? People did cook food then, even as they do now, and freezing was not out of the question, either. Jewish people do live in cold climates where freezing on the Sabbath is quite possible.

Where did Christ do away with the commandment to not kindle a fire on the Sabbath and when did this commandment cease to be a commandment and become a custom of man?
