Good Morning All...
Does anyone out there suffer from daily depression like I do?
My depression hits me about 2 hours after I wake up.
The first thing I do every morning is pray. I could use some
input regarding bible verses to read that might shed some
light on this problem I have. I am care giving for my
step Grandfather. I have no prior experience with this. It's going on the 3rd
week and it is taking a heavy toll on my patience and stress-
level. I try to stay humble and patient when he insults me, and
constantly blames others and myself for his mistakes and bad
behaviors. I understand how frustrated he must feel due to his
Parkinson's disease. He is slowly losing his independence because
of his lack of motor skills due to his disease. And, I have tried to
communicate to him that I am trying to remain supportive and
empathetic to his situation. But, he gets so offended at the simple mentioning of his disease that it triggers a small rage in which there is no
way to calm his nerves other than to all together change the
subject to something that has no relation to his health issues at
all. Any Christian based suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You for your time. And may GOD bless you all.
Sincerely,
Joseph....
