When I was like 8 1/2 mos pregnant I told him my water broke - boy was it a hoot to see him leap out of bed and scrambling for bags, clothes..etc... So when my water actually broke 4 wks later he was a tad skeptical ^_^

Hide behind the door as he's coming home from work, jump out and yell BOO! Gets him real good! ^_^
My wife has scared me pretty good. But I got her the other day! She was in the walkin closet and the door was cracked. So I stood there in front of the door and waited. She opened the door and I just looked at her and she jumped! It was great.

I unhooked all his game systems, hid them away, took all his games and hid them as well. When he came in from work, I had the front door wide open and his mom and I were sitting out side, looking freaked out. We gave him the look as if something bad had happened. Told him that when we got home the front door was opened and... Then he walked in side and first thing he looks to see is missing were his game systems lol. I know that's mean, but he has a serious addiction to games. So bad he didn't even ask if we were ok. I even told him I think we scared them. He didn't find the prank funny though hahaha..

A couple of times with pregnancy tests, she'll give me this wide-eyed mouth agape look after taking the test. But I sense it if it seems fake. The last time she did this, a week or two ago, I could tell it was fake and she wasn't pregnant again.

Once when we were trying for our first child, I decided to turn the tables. Instead of her surprising me with the news of the baby, I said let me check it this time, took the stick from her hand and held it up high where she couldn't grab it from me. I said I wanted to be the first to know this time. It turned out to be negative.

We aren't really into real pranks.

My DH got me good a few weeks ago. I was sitting in the driver seat of my van (window rolled down and feet stuck out) as it sat under the carport. Being that this is the only place I can have a quiet phone conversation. . . I thought It was ingenius.

He snuck outside. Crouched down behind the van and along side of it (without me having any clue that he was there) and reached up and grabbed my foot.

You can imagine me jumping up and hitting my head on the ceiling of the van. He scared the heebee geebee's out of me!!!

So a few nights later I waited for him to go to his "man cave" out back and get something on his way to the truck for work. I snuck around the side of the truck (where he couldn't see me) and just stood there. (I almost gave myself away because I couldn't stop snickering) As he rounded the tailgate of the truck I jumped out and said "BOO" really loud! He jumped so high and backwards as he screamed "AHHHHHH" and then I saw him ball his fist up like he was going to punch. ( He didn't punch) :p
I got him BACK!!! LOL! I laughed so hard after that.

all he could do is sit there and stare at me like I was an idiot because he knew that I was returning the favor! LOL

One night, a while ago, I went to bed later than he did and as I was getting into bed he moaned "what?" thinking one of the kids was climbing into bed. So, I put on a kiddie voice and said I wanted to sleep in daddy's bed... he replied with, "go find your mother"... I had to laugh out loud then and then he realized it was me so he rolled over and went to sleep. Next morning I asked him if one of the kids tried getting into bed and he just goes, "ha. ha. ha." ^_^ :D

Anyone have a prank go wrong?

A buddy of mine (loooong time ago) and his brother set up this elaborate prank on April fools day. Long story short, I got a call right after I fell asleep telling me my friend got hit by a car and died. I believed it. When it came out that it was a prank, my girlfriend at the time almost drove over there and beat up the lot of them!! I had to physically hold her back until she calmed down.

I tried to get that guy back the very next year on April fools. Turns out I actually was in the hospital after getting out of surgery! So I had a REAL nurse call him (I told her the story and she was more than willing to prank him!) from my hospital room saying I listed him as an emergency contact. And he didn't fall for it!!!
What a punk.

Hubby is absolutely unprankable. I once found a $99 purse on clearance for $20. I bought it, went home, and told him I'd bought a $99 purse. He didn't bat an eyelash. Just said, "I'm sure you didn't *pay* $99 for it."

I was hoping he'd at least gasp.

Off track a bit, but this reminds me of something. My wife is very good at guessing gifts. I used to not be able to get her anything without her guessing it way in advance. And based on no clues at all!! It's like she reads my mind.
:D

I got her a paper shredder for her birthday a few years ago. That broke my streak!! And yes, she actually did love it. She used it until it burned up.

While hubby was taking a lukewarm shower last night, I "forgot" he was in there and turned on the hot water by the sink. I'd NEVER, in our 17 years, heard him shriek quite like that! Oh, man, that was hilArious! :D ^_^

I know he's gonna get back at me. Just a matter of wondering when.
