Do you have a job in PA?

Lord have mercy. Our new priest is on the way from PA (he graduated Memorial Day weekend) to Montana. He is from England, so driving that far will be an experience for him and his family. I'm just hoping that they don't have to go through any of the major fires that we have going now (one has burned almost 250,000 acres so far).

You'll do fine on your drive. Growing up in a military family, I cris-crossed the country several times. Make sure you stop frequently to get refreshed and don't drive when you are too tired. You'll get to see places that you haven't seen before.

You and your family will be in my prayers because seminarians and their families make many sacrifices to study for the priesthood.

It looks like they have a close community at St. Tikhon's. My prayers will be with you and your family on your trip there and during your three years of study.

Haha, now that I live in Tampa (Ybor, until August) you're leaving.

lol welcome to Pennsylvania, be nice to the amish

I did notice a large majority of parishes and seminaries were clustered up Northeast on the East Coast of the United States.

There's a big Orthodox population up in the Northeast with a strong history. A lot of older parishes (in the sense of the age of the buildings and communities).
