These are the same stories that they were telling in the 60's and 70's. In the end, the Earth and Solar System is sucked into the dying Red Dwarf Sun. Then the Super Nova explosion or Black Hole. Either one is fine with me.

I don't actually know who the people are of whom you speak, but it doesn't matter, because even without knowing them, I am absolutely convinced that some major activity will be happening in 2012.

You should definitely do those two things .... pray for mercy and salvation. That is a great and very sound idea.

Also, to further encourage you, I would like to point you to an article that I have recommended before, which shows us definitely that we are around the time of Christ's return. This article does not pinpoint a date or a year. However, it does show us that we are clearly in the season. Please do take the time to read it, will you?

I have not yet heard from the Lord about anything coming in the fall. There could be something coming, and prayer is the most important and prominent reason why the Lord would tell us those things in advance. If these visions/dreams are from Him, they will be very specific and not vague, and they will very closely match up with what others are seeing and saying too, as a further confirmation to His children that it is He that is speaking.

Only the Father knows when the "end" will take place. Jesus didn't even share that info with his disciples. The Word says that sin will increase as the end times come closer, and to lay that increase, or such weighty darkness, at the feet of one president of one country, is not right, wise, or honorable in the light of Romans 13:1 which says"Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.") In light of what that scripture says, let us change what we say about our country and about our God given president, into words that holy loving people would say. Let us be examples of those who confidently trust that God knows what He is doing, and at that same time let us be busy helping others to meet the Lord and to help them learn to trust and love Him. We should be actively doing our "commission" given to us by Jesus himself to do. If we are negative speakers and doom gloomers about governments, or presidents, or rulings that are not holy, or other people's faiths or practices...what kind of witnessess have we become in this world? We wind up brewing dissension and delivering spiritual darkness into the hearing of unbelievers and believers. Let us instead be witnesses of the positive power and plans of God and also to the qualities of Jesus. Let us reflect and be real examples of His character and qualities ...which are honor, respect, peace, love, confidence, wisdom, patience, and joy. These are the things that others should hear and see in those of us who follow Him...not criticism, negativity, murmuring, or causing dissension.

1Thessalonians 5 says "brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 5 You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. 8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up"

There is good secretly being done inside of our government right now for the sake of God's people that we don't even hear about, because God is moving, protecting, and providing for us by working in the hearts of those men and women (they are not all Christians that He uses either)... and we must "trust" that, and go out and vote whenever we have a chance, then be quiet and confident that all of the rest of it is in God's hands. Negative speech and passing around someone else's exaggerated lies about the character of our leadership and government does not deliver what he admonishes us to deliver in verse 8, it is contrary to it. Let us encourage and "build up" as verse 11 says, and not "tear down".

I can sense something terrible will soon happen later this year. I pray and ask my Father if you can hold on just a while longer, use me to preach my testimony the salvation God offers every man, woman and child by accepting Jesus if only they repent.

Each night for the past two years, I have repented of my sins and I refuse to end the day without saying the Lord's and repentance prayer which is the prayer I spoke that saved me. Even sometimes I feel what's the point it's not going to be enough God tells me to do it and that

"There will be rejoicing in Heaven for the sinner who is repentant of his sins over the righteous who does not need to repent of his sins"

He also tells me: "No matter how low or unworthy you feel, keep repenting of your sins and continue saying the Lord's Prayer as he instructed us in the Book of Matthew"

I have told a few of my Christian friends that I have not gone one day for the 2 years I've been saved without repenting, they tell me that they should start to do it and do it more often! Some including my family hardly do it or if at all!

Keep praying for all of man that there will be enough time for them to repent before it is too late. If we all want Jesus to return ASAP, what good is that to the lost who were waiting for the day that they turn to Christ!

One dream which to this day still shakes my very soul from within every time I read it is what God told me after I had this dream.

YOU ARE SAVED, SAVED FROM MY JUDGMENT, SAVED FROM MY WRATH AND MY AUTHORITY TO SEND YOU TO HELL

• You have shown and proved that your faith is very strong, strong enough to move mountains.

• Your love for Christ is paramount, and your sacrifice that you have made to defend His name is never unending.

• You have faced many mountains, many evil forces who tried to destroy you and to turn you away from me and denying me.

• With My strength and your faith in Jesus Christ, My only begotten Son, you have defeated Satan. He no longer will consume your life!

• You have shown forgiveness with everyone who betrayed you.

I have now brought you face to face with the Devil, I have made you see him for who he is, for what he has done to your life and now we have defeated him. My order to you is to preach the true gospel to others. Non believers and believers will either deny you or believe you of your Testimony. For this, I have now given you the answer that you seek to find.

Those who were with you (in your dream) are sinners. They will perish in the lake of fire and only I can cast judgment upon them who sins! But I tell you this; you must UPHOLD and forever live in repentance, to follow Christ and to be like Him.

You must repent of all your sins; humanity will never be free of sin. You must turn to Christ and skee for forgiveness. Do not doubt or question my authority and judgment over those who continue to sin and refuse to repent. Do this and you will be saved and will be forever rewarded in heaven.

The faithful servants of God knew that something was coming when 9/11 came. Just because the Saints sense something doesn't mean that they are trying to predict "the end" or even pointing toward the end. They just sense something coming...that's all.

The Saints are listening and heeding the warnings so they can minister to hurting ones that are caught off guard (whose faith is week). The sense of coming disaster is so we can be ready to minister in a big way! We are not to fear but to trust that God is tending to His own and ministers to us as we minister.

I was listening to a prophet say that he did not believe anything would happen in 2012, but the Lord showed him that there is def. something that is going to happen this year and he was to prepare spiritually and physically with extra supplies. I must say that I don't have any specific sense of danger this year, I do listen to mature saints who hear from God and are warning me to prepare. It may not be "the end" but it seems that something is going to happen that will affect food and supply delivery routes.

I have a friend who is a prophetess and she sees a California earthquake devistating.. a tidal wave over 25 feet high.. a cat 4-5 super hurricane on the east coast.. earthquake in the atlantic.. earthquake in Turkey.. Mega Church leaders judged.. I don't know if all that is 2012, but she is usually spot on.

Can you share with us some examples of what she has said in the past that has come to fruition?

Perry Stone prophesied 9/11 and senses danger coming, but no particular date - only that it is close.

He is right about all the 'feel good' themes being taught in the chuch.. it really does not prepare us for what is about to happen.

If God is giving a warning to Americans, what about us in the rest of the world i.e. me in lovely Edinburgh Scotland?
I have not had any dreams or warnings to do with where I live or prepare for anything. Although I have always thanked God for moving me away from London 6 years ago.

I can now understand why he moved me here <3 I feel right where I should be and I feel safe.

Just today another user in the UK part of CF posted this from the "Christian Together" Website. It was a word by Lance Lambert from August 2011. It spoke of the UK being hit economically and there was going to be a change in our climate/weather.

The overall feeling I'm getting is to intercede/pray for our nations.

Thanks for posting the link, well my heart is right with God or at least I'm trying my hardest everyday. I know what to expect, I feel a sense of expect the worse there is nothing I can do accept pray for the nations, the people, family friends and of course myself!

God has given me something which will probably save my life at some point, that is total TRUST of God and understanding of the terrors to come to the whole world.

I feel there is only one place my very heart and soul goes for refuge and I feel totally safe no matter what happens around me and that is under the Lord's wings, in God's hands!

I'm not asking God to hide me in a cave or something like that but just protect me and let me know you are there all the time watching over me and keeping me from harm if that is his will for me to live through these times.

I feel sad though that my mother is the opposite, when she tries to take control of her life or mine when things are going crazy in the world such as the economy, money jobs, war etc lectures me to save your money, you will need it the world is crazy.

"Don't spend SAVE SAVE SAVE! You need to buy food or you will starve how can you not care? Who puts your food on the table"

....that kind of thing.

My trust is in God I said, not this world, again she flips out in disagreement. That is what I believe is what will save me at the end my faith in God that my life is meaningless if I put my trust in this world and not in God first. God is there to provide for those who seek him first.

At the same time I am a little frightened but it's that giant leap of faith and trust in God that refuses me to crumble under fear, there is no need because God is here in me in spirit and around me!

False prophets: "Everything will be fine"

Moreover, Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “Please inquire first for the word of the Lord.” Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, “Shall I go against Ramoth-gilead to battle or shall I refrain?” And they said, “Go up, for the Lord will give it into the hand of the king.” (1 Kings 22:5-6)

True prophet: "Everything will not be fine!"

But Jehoshaphat said, “Is there not yet a prophet of the Lord here that we may inquire of him?” The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of the Lord, but I hate him, because he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. He is Micaiah son of Imlah.” (1 Kings 22:7-8)

There are indeed two camps, and even within the church, some are saying "everything will fine," whereas others are saying, "everything is not so fine." What I hear God saying through the many posts on this forum is that everything will not be fine and we are in the last days before Christ returns. The world is, in fact, entering into judgment with the Lord, and Armageddon is, in the big scheme of things, "not far off."
