Are you waiting for a spouse to be more actively involved in your church or to join you in ministry. And perhaps to take the lead in spritual things especially if reluctant to do so,

Trust the Lord who hears our prayers as we wait upon him. I waited over 25 years for my husband to become a daily prayer partner, to take the lead in spiritual matters, and now even to be extensively involved in church service and ministry. Every time he prays in a group my heart rejoices in that God never gave up on him as I waited. And I am so glad that through it all I believed for the fruit of patience and prayers.

Be encouraged! Tell your story. Did something like this happen to you in your marriage? Are you still waiting?

We celebrate our 51st Wedding anniversary last Sunday. And these are the very best years we have ever had.

yes i am still waiting..i grew up catholic but 8 years ago i gave my life to CHRIST.
my husband is still catholic and we still go to the catholic church he wants to go.
this church is spiritually dead.
he refuses to seek another church, he no longer reads his bible, he stop saying his rosary...that's because i told him he is praying to another god, and i've been praying for him...so far no change.

Keep on praying and loving him and try not to lose hope or heart. Meanwhile do the best you can by showing him by your own faith and example what it means to love Jesus. :prayer:
