right on songzzz. i feel like i've kinda been on the journey with you. well, maybe a step or two along anyway. (reading your posts)

one thing i've wondered though is this: what specific promise did God give you early on when you first sought out seeking a wife? there have probably been many, but if you could just talk about holding on to God's promises and keeping the faith until that moment..

I simply trusted in phil 4:19 " My God will supply all your needs" to me this was a very need of my heart, i never doubted and this gave me strength to carry on in many painful times.

Now we are dearly blest I shall visit her again in 5 months for 12 days and then in Gods mercy marry her in June - July 2013.

So Put God first, ask Him to meet your need, step out of the boat and walk on water, never give up, be prepared to wait for many years for it is owrth it to have the right one created by God just for you.

One of the things that strikes me though from statements I made bold (red) - is that you did, indeed decide to make a greater effort, despite believing it wouldn't matter(blue).

God may have helped - and forgive if you think this is anathema to your faith - but I think acknowledging the extra effort on your part isn't being dishonest.
