Step two of the defense of the KJVO cultish belief, ad hominen attacks. Do you not realize that one looses all credibility by insulting the opponent? This is the typical argument fallacy designed to shift ones inability to defend their premise by drawing attention away from themselves and unto the opponent's character. Pitiful.

I justify the originals as being the inspired word of God. I do not justify, nor is there any evidence to justify, a translation separated by over 1500 years from the originals as being the "English" inerrant word of God. Paul tells us that ALL scripture is profitable not just the KJV.

The Latin word Lucifer is not a modern word but one used by Jerome while translating the Vulgate during the 4th century, almost 1200 years prior to the KJV.
ok let's see if I got this right, you can accuse me of being in a cultand accuse me of worshipping a dead King. so I guess by your own standard, you lost "ALL" my creditiblity by insulting me long ago. I'm just glad you finally realize it . still praying

this is your quote:
so some reading on the historical accounts of King James before you continue to deitize him.

well I was just going by what you said,
see know you can't even get your own story straight, first you say that lucifer wasn't about until the 17th century , now you say that Jerome new of him in the 4 century, so which one is the 17th or 4th century.

The word existed as part of the Latin language not as part of the English language. Can you find instances of the use of lucifer in English prior to the publishing of the KJV 1611?

The KJVO movement IS a cult. All cults have a variety of behaviors in common including redefinition of mainstream theological terms, and usually embrace doctrinal beliefs that are outside of orthodox beliefs. The movement did not start until early in the 20th century by authors such as Benjamin Wilkinson, Jasper Ray, David Fuller, and Peter Ruckman.

Here is an online resource that might be of help to you.

"Roots" of the KJV Controversy

Deciding to use the KJV only as your choice of bible is not part of the KJVO movement.

Lucifer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Traditionally, Lucifer (
11px-Loudspeaker.svg.png
/ˈluːsɪfər/ or /ljuːsɪfər/) is a name that in English generally refers to the Devil or Satan, especially in reference to his status as a fallen angel.
In Latin, from which the English word is derived, Lucifer (as a noun) means "light-bearer" (from the words lucem ferre). It was the name given to the Morning Star, i.e. the planet Venus when seen at dawn.
Use of the name "Lucifer" for the Devil stems from applying to the Devil what Isaiah 14:3–20 says of a king of Babylon whom it calls Helel (הֵילֵל, Shining One), a Hebrew word that refers to the Day Star or Morning Star (the Latin term[1] for which is lucifer)[2] This association developed in Early Christianity, in the 2nd or 3rd century.

here we read that as early as the 2nd century Christians associated the word luficer with Satan, So read them and weep Dude !!!!!!!

The Bible in English

Beginning of the Gospel of John from a 14th century copy of Wycliffe's translation

Wycliffe's Bible is the name now given to a group of Bible translations into Middle English that were made under the direction of, or at the instigation of, John Wycliffe. They appeared over a period from approximately 1382 to 1395

the wycliffe Bible was from 1382 to 1395, which puts it over 200 years before the KJB, I am pretty sure you will find that the Wycliffe Bible was used by the translators of the KJB, so to answer your question! can I find lucifer used in english before the Holy Word of God The King James Bible

YES I CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isaiah 14:12

Wycliffe Bible (WYC)

12 A! Lucifer, that risedest early, how fellest thou down from heaven; thou that woundedest folks, felledest down (al)together into [the] earth. (O! Lucifer, who risedest up early, how thou hast fallen down from heaven; thou who hast wounded the nations, fell down to the ground.)

another one of your lies shot down, how many times Do I have to prove you wrong, before you will let it go?

No, here we read that the 2nd century Christians made the association of Helel with Day Star or Morning Star. The term lucifer is the Latin term not the Hebrew term. Notice that the parenthesis explains the LATIN term.

lol The original Wycliffe bible was a word for word translation of the Vulgate with Wycliff leaving quite a few words in their Latin transliteration. Here is Isaiah 14:12 from the original translation (1395):

12 A! Lucifer, that risidist eerli, hou feldist thou doun fro heuene; thou that woundist folkis, feldist doun togidere in to erthe.
