Does Romeny share his prophets (Joseph Smith) desire for a one world "theodemocratic" government? By all accounts he is a devout follower of the Mormon faith and even worked as a missionary at one point. I hear a lot of conspiracy talk about Obama working for world government and UN take overs and such but no one seems to be looking at the elephant in the room. It's Romneys religions that calls for one world government!
Joseph Smith

Main article: Theodemocracy

In early 19th century Mormon theology, Joseph Smith taught that a theodemocracy would guide and direct the Kingdom of God (Zion) on the earth during the end times. On March 11th, 1844, Smith organized a Council of Fifty, who were to work under the direction of the Priesthood authorities of his church, along with a Council of Friends. This group of three organizations was expected to rule as a world government just prior to the Millennium.[2][3][4]

You do realize that even if he tried to do what you say he will do, both Houses of the Legislative branch will more than likely block him from actually following through with it?
Some people are really paranoid about world government though. According to them Obama is part of the conspiracy (socialist Islamocaliphate world government or something to that effect). I wanted to alert them to the support for world government in Romney's religions. Let them now that he isn't their man.

NOT if Romney reveals the "Mormo-Ray". It's a weapon secretly under development in the Mormon temples (you know there's a reason regular folks can't get in there most of the time).

The Mormo-Ray makes use a small portion of the electrofaith spectrum and it focuses an intense beam of mormo-rays on people causing them to give in to the whims of whichever Mormon is wielding it at the time.

Word to the wise. Romney may be "packin'" at any given event. Look closely at his pants for a slight bulge. Then you can know to run if he reaches in.

I highly recommend people watch as many youtube videos of Romney's pants as they can find to see if the Mormons have been successful. The only problem is they may be going for a miniaturized version, so look closely.

Wouldn't it be cool if one-world Islamofacist Obama were to do battle with one-world Mormofascist Romney? And both of them were to use their UN-backed armies?

Wow! Cool!

The Mormon magic underwear would make Romney practically invincible.

OOoooh! Yeah! Obama's pieces could be the red bits of plastic and Romney's the blue! Or wait, no, the other way around!

I bet Obama goes DIRECTLY for Kamchatka! Put a bunch of his armies there and maybe on New Guinea to seal off Romney in Australia!

From your same source: "such a government was never meant to be imposed on the unwilling, nor to be monoreligious. Instead, Smith believed that theodemocracy would be freely chosen by all, whether or not they were Latter-day Saints.[15] This would be especially true when secular governments had dissolved and given way to universal anarchy and violence in the days preceding the Millennium."

This was an end time thought of Joseph Smith that is to occur during the tribulation as a lead in to Christ's reign on Earth. It isn't something Romney, as President, believes he is supposed to accomplish (or even work toward).

Plus, I don't think most Christians here would have an issue with Smith's belief, "that only a government led by deity could banish the destructiveness of unlimited faction and bring order and happiness to the earth." Especially since he specifically was speaking of a government headed by Jesus Christ, that is the one world government he was teaching.

You guys are missing the point so allow me to s-p-e-l-l it out for you:

Illuminaughty is attempting to point out the irony that every President we've ever had in living memory (probably beyond that) has been accused, at one point or another, of a secret desire for World Domination!.

For example, our last three Presidents - Former President Clinton, Former President Bush, and President Obama - can all be googled to find pictures of them burning the constitution and, really, any kind of other propagana you'd so desire to unearth...

Obama-Burning-The-Constitution.jpg

We can find them in nazi attire...

clinton-hitler.jpg

Bush was apparently in on something far more sinister...

Really, any kind of conspiracy you want to subscribe to is not unique - there is a whole support group of guys, gals, and youngin's who are ready to accept you with open arms into their mental illness of choice.

So, this being the case, why would we want to elect someone who is more open than Obama about his desire for World Domination!, even if that desire is only apparent through his subscription to a specific religion/denomination (whatever you choose to call it).

Who exactly is Jesus Christ to the LDS church?

The Jesus most Christians believe in is the son of Yahweh. The Jesus Mormons believe in is the son of ... Who?

Don't know what it really matters in this context, as there is only one Jesus Christ. Or do you not believe Christ will rule the Earth for a thousand years as the Bible talks about? Or maybe you are just worried there really is a Mormon version of Jesus who will reign during the Millennium who is actually God?

God is a physical being who has attained a "godhood" primarily through works and learning secret rituals which allowed him to retain His conciousness in "death".

Jesus and Lucifer - Satan - are brothers under their Father: God. One day God asked them both to come up with a good plan to reach humanity and help them understand how to attain this state for themselves (i.e. salvation). Lucifer suggested the Heavenly Host take a more aggressive approach and make us understand. Jesus offered to go personally and teach us through His life and works. God picked Jesus and Lucifer has had a whole bucketload of butt-hurt ever since.

If you're a good Mormon, learn your secret name and all the passwords and rituals and stuff, you'll eventually die and attain a kind of proto-godhood under the First one who did it - God - and He will give you your own world and minions to rule and do over as you see fit.

That's how I learned it.
