[size=+1]The Apocalypse of Job ~
Job 1:1-3
1. There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared 'Elohiym, and turned aside from evil.
2. And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.
3. His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she-donkeys, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.
Job 1:6-12
6. Now there was a day when the sons of ha-'Elohiym came to present themselves before YHWH, and ha-Satan came also among them.
7. And YHWH said unto ha-Satan, Whence comest thou? Then ha-Satan answered unto YHWH, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
8. And YHWH said unto ha-Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth 'Elohiym, and turneth away from evil?
9. Then ha-Satan answered YHWH, and said, Doth Job fear 'Elohiym for nought?
10. Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
11. But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
12. And YHWH said unto ha-Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. And so went ha-Satan forth from the presence of YHWH.
And it always comes during the eating, drinking, and merrymaking; does it not?
Spiritually speaking, of course, even as in the days of Noah
1 Samuel 30:16-17
16. And when he had brought him down, behold, they were spread abroad upon all the earth, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah.
17. And David smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which rode upon camels, and fled.
Matthew 24:36-39
36. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angeloi-messengers [GSN#0032 aggelos] of heaven, but my Father only.
37. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
