Don't be too interested in that stuff. I met a coven of wiccans who tried to put a curse on me - What they do is tap into hell itself and unleash a spirit that can't be seen with the naked eye but will try to damage you spiritually.
They believe in magic and satanism so strongly they will believe they are werewolves and vampires and drink blood and run around in the night doing nonsense - satan is their god and he encourages this nonsense.

Pure testimony , a good christian does not lie.

So yes magic is real and any heavy magic is indirect satanism . Read over the old testement from this perspective - God forbade the hebrews from drinking blood and having gay sex. Satanists drink blood and have gay sex to rebel from God.

Call upon the name of the Messiah - or Yahweh - or Jesus ( studying original hebrew and meditating on the old king james version of the bible helps combat magic).

The holy spirit that Christians Worship is God's spirit and it protects against black magic.

So i do warn you as a christian brother. do NOT get involved in those things if someone offers you to 'become a vampire' . You are at risk of hell.

Think of hell as a seperate universe that can connect to ours via superstrings and quantum mechanics. If you have the intention to summon evil and you do a set of nonsense like drink blood it will happen.
if you have the intention to be a christian first it will never happen to you. so yes you can read twilight and all those books if you want just dont seek it out.

I trust you will understand when I say that I have never believed that vampires, werewolves, demons, witches, or other supernatural creatures.
Yes, I enjoy reading both fictional stories and "historical" facts about such things. But I do the same thing with Atlantis, Lemuria, and other "Lost Empires".
Doing so does not mean that I am going to go out and search for them.

As for the group that tried to put a curse on you. Well, their are self delusional groups located everywhere. Their stupidity does not imply or prove reality.

For those here who enjoy werewolves and art connected with thim, you might want to look at THIS

I read books by Alice Borchardt about werewolves, where the werewolves were nicer and had better morals than the ordinary humans. Alice Borchadrt is the sister of Anne Rice. I have werewolves in my fantasy novels, werebears, werecats, and other shapechangers, it is the gift of shapechanging given by God. I had a strange dream about me being a dragon that changed into a woman (myself) and back, with Harry Potter, we were going into the Harry Potter bank. I was suppose to protect Harry from the death eaters, as a dragon, but then went as a human so no one would suspect anything, and when I changed to a human I was naked and had to make illusion clothes.

I write Christian fantasy and often put fantasy, magical imaginary creatures in my stories, usually dragons, unicorns, fairies, elves, mermaids, sometimes werewolves and vampires, I do not like vampires I think it is gross to drink blood. I thought about having vampires in my Snow White story, and were wolves in the Little Red Riding hood story, I am doing a series of stories based on classic Grimm fairytales.

The hero from my "Elysia, magic dream world" story that I never did write is a a werewolf. His name is Craig Lupine, and he has werewolf ancestry that is dormant, then he gets bit by a white olf in the autumn forest in the magical dream world of Elysia and this changes him into a werewolf. Craig's girlfriend Gwen Pennowyn, the "magical girl" becomes a moon fairy or moonlight angel, she is the heroine of the story. Craig needs the strength of the werewolf to defeat the bad guy, Malleus Malificarum, an evil wizard who has taken over Elysia and rules as an oppressive, destructive tyrant.

i have to admit that i loved the shiver series, because it made werewolves really believable. For those of you that haven't read it, it represents it as a kind of disease, that you begin to shift into a wolf when you are cold, this becomes more frequent until eventually your human self is completely lost. i do like the kind of 'stereotypical' idea of werewolves as well, but i would highly recommend reading this series.

I find very interesting, the capacity in man for metamorphosis;

The capacity to change to werewolf is not the only phenomenon rumoured about: similar powers to change include; transforming into a bear, into a cat (were-leopard), into a snake (known as naga people of India), transforming into an eagle, and bull etc...

Twilight I felt was designed to appeal to romantics mostly but they went ALL THE WAY with special effects.

They aren't meant to be werewolves in Twilight at all. Actually, they are more akin to Native American skin-walkers - which makes sense, because the characters that transform are part of a Native tribe of the area.

But personally, I love werewolves. Find the idea pretty fascinating. (Along with other forms of lycanthropy, I admit.)

His Dark Tower series was interesting. The last three really make the seven-part series. And i have read IT. Also a werewolf in that one. :p Very good read, King. Especially some of his earlier stuff, like the running man and carrie.

perosnally, i prefer vampires to lycanthropes; but, since we are on the warewolves topic, i find metamorphesis interesting. though, sometimes warewolves just got me thinking of furries (sorry ;( )

i know a person i used to work with is on the warewolf bandwagon (partly because she is Native, so i understand it has things to do with nature and animals spirits and stuff; which is pretty cool, actually, with that association).

i also find the myth of vampires vs warewolfs interesting (eg: underworld) .
