Concerning why I was writing this, I grew up having some dear friends in the Lord who were Seventh Day Adventist (as they took care of me when my mother was a single mom trying to raise me). And although I'm not familar with all aspects of Seventh Day Adventism, I've been told that what many of them do is similar to what you'd expect to see in the Messianic Jewish movement since (as I was informed) SDA's are biblically kosher and keep the laws in Levicticus regarding clean and unclean meat.
If that is not true, my apologies for saying such. That said, I was curious as to whether or not anyone here has ever heard of a man by the name of Walter Pearson?
He is a Seventh Day Adventists and growing up, I used to listen to him often and thought he was a wonderful man of God. His ministry is connected with a group known as Breath Of Life(), which is one of the most recent Seventh-Day Adventist Christian Broadcast ministries to come into being. Although its main audience is the Black Community, the message is similar to the other broadcast ministries...with it being an independent ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
I was wondering what others, if they've ever heard of him, felt on his ministry. Do you feel that what he states is an accurate representation of Seventh-Day Adventism? Do you feel he doesn't belong with the camp---or do you feel otherwise? Just trying to make certain as to what to tell others, as I didn't want to give out inaccurate information when it comes to others asking.
Blessings
