I'd take Athens by a narrow margin. As a sixth grade teacher, I teach both Greece and Rome, ancient cultures. I love them both, but I'd just love to see Thermopylae, Delphi, Marathon, the Parthenon, and so many other historical places that matter to me. But boy I'd love to see Rome, too! (hard to take the Catholic out of this boy sometimes! ^_^)

I'm torn between Rome and Athens :help: I wish I could do both but I don't think I have the money or the stamina for that.

I chose Italy. I have 15 days there. I'm going to fly in through Venice or Milan and then work my way down by train to Rome making some stops in between.

Sounds great! Safe travels and have a wonderful time. :)
