The Sabbath of the Lord thy God continues, and it is "lawful" to "do well" upon it, therefore in contrast it is "not lawful" to not "do well" upon it.:

Man is a created being. Jesus calls himself the "Son of man" - but He is God - from all eternity. In the book of Genesis God and two angels appear to Abraham as "three men". That does not make God a created being - He simply appeared in that form to Abraham.

Indeed that is God the Son speaking to Moses.

And in Genesis 18:1-2 God appears to Abraham along with 2 Angels - in the form of 3 men. Abraham talks with God face to face - while God appears in human form.

But in Exodus Moses is on the top of a mountain and God is NOT in human form. Thus the mortal Moses could not look directly at God and see him "as he is" he could not endure the sight of seeing God - no not even God the Son.

This is the result of making truth relative, and the acceptance of tradition over the straight word of God.

Fact - 4th commandment says keep the sabbath.

You'll dance around that however proclaiming the sabbath was given only to the Jews. This argument however is quite nonsensical given that EVERY commandment was given strictly to the Jews, along with every promise and every covenant. Nowhere in scripture do you find God making a promise or covenant to the gentile people. What you find is them being invited into the body that already exists. You believe God and Christ have separate laws, and brides, neither an idea that can be supported by scripture.

You don't need a smoking gun. You need some eye salve that you may see.

Well how should I answer this one?

I like the fact that this was given to Israel only.

I also like the fact the NC isn't like the OC.

I see a verse saying the sabbath (4th commandment) will be done away with.

I can't find any reference the Gentiles were to join Israel to have salvation.

What requirements does Jesus give for salvation (eternal life)? Is it the law (ten commandments)? Yes I know about Mat 19, LK 18 and MK 10.

I'd say calling it the truth won't make it so. The very simple fact is the world was never asked to keep the sabbath anywhere in Scritpure. Therefore it isn't the world that forgets the 4th commandment as the OP and thread title suggest.

I suggest that you nor anyone else in the modern world keeps the sabbath even without getting off the stone tablets.

Now the obstinate till death part probably applies to you. Others can read.
