You do realize that Dan Rather was the Richard Nixon of journalism, don't you? Oh ... the irony ...

Care to show some facts on this (that aren't from sources like Fox or The American Thinker)? Or is this just another one of your hit-and-run statements with no backing that you still apparently think I'm dumb enough to just accept?

You should have learned by now ;)

Is that a good thing or bad. Other than Watergate, I know a lot of people who thought he was a great president.

I never said he was a dictator. I've consistently said he was a Marxist. :wave:His parents were Marxist, he grew up around Marxists and he has filled important positions in his administration with Marxists.

In agreement so far?

On none of those, no.

Do Marxists not have just as much a right to be American citizens and have a voice in American government as you do, Hawk?

LOL ... the frame of reference at the time was LBJ.

A lot of dishonorable people seem to gravitate toward politics. Weird ...

Journalists claim a higher standard though. So, yeah Dan Rather was a bad thing. Bottom line is that Dan Rather was a bottom feeder.

Attack Rather all you want, but don't you dare touch my Cronkite. He's America's greatest journalist and if you say anything different I'll have to be very cross ;)

I'm all in favor of Marxists coming out in the open. Something about Marxist philosophy forces them under-cover because otherwise almost no one would willingly vote them into office. People tend to dislike liars and frauds. Weird ...

So you presented Rather as the sacrificial lamb just to put Uncle Wally on a pedestal? Kinda like the LBJ vs Nixon comparison, eh? Other than being a "nice guy" though, what great attributes did Cronkite bring to journalism? If Uncle Walter set such a high standard, why did his successor have such a low standard?

"Marxists" have to hide just like homosexual politicians have to hide, or Muslim ones. It's not because they are liars and frauds, it's because there are people in this country who will distrust them simply based on ignorant rhetoric surrounding their label instead of giving them a fair shake.

Just watch. Put a politician who is a gay Muslim Marxist up against a politician who is a straight Christian capitalist. See who wins and who gets an assortment of venom and death threats.

By the way, I'm still looking for an answer to this question: Do Marxists not have the same right as you do to be American citizens and have a voice in our government?

JFK was a wonderful President. LBJ was full of crap. Does that reflect badly on JFK, and make his wonderful things bad? Or does it just show a downward trend in our society?

So Obama is guilty of being a Marxist by virtue of his association with former Marxists? I say former Marxists because the best evidence that has been presented suggests to us that the Marxists Obama is supposedly guilty of associating with are not necessarily Marxists right now, although they may have been in the past. Of course Obama must be a Marxist... Bailing the capitalists out is such a Marxist thing to do.

The communists and Marxists have a long tradition of being established political parties, CurlyFries. I support that.

I do not support subterfuge, subversion or sedition. Hopefully, that's clear enough for you.

*shrug* I always have hope that the obstinately misinformed will see the truth. Perhaps it's mere wishful thinking on my part.

It's not, as you're still creatively dodging your way around my question. It's really quite simple to answer. I'll break it down for you.

Do Marxists have just as much right as you do to be American citizens? Yes or no.

Do Marxists have just as much right as you do to have a voice in government? Yes or no.

And I'll add a third question: Do Marxists have just as much right as you do to have their own personal philosophy as the main governing philosophy of this country? Yes or no.

See? Very simple. All of them are just yes or no.

The way I look at it ... Marxists don't have a "right" to supplant the existing constitutional government with their version of heaven on earth.

Sorry you don't like my answer. I can rephrase it as many times as you'd like, if that will help your understanding though. ;)

He helps the rich remain rich by keeping the Bush tax cuts.
He strengthens the large, central federal government model.
He assists corporations to remain intact even when they steal, cheat and deserve to end in ruin.

How is that ANYTHING like a Marxist?

No that is the works of a capitalist plutocrat.

As a non-American, i was wondering if it is a crime for an American citizen to call Obama a dictator?

No, it is not a crime.

Technically, it is erroneous. However, I emphasize the technicality of it being a false statement.

Marxists don't want to be American citizens. They hate America; marxists want to be something other than Americans, and not citizens, but comrades.

Marxists don't want a voice in government. They want to be the voice of government.
