I dreamed that I was in church, it was almost dark outside. The usual people were there but I didn't sit with my usual friends.. I don't know why but my pastors wife and I were upset with each other. Not angry or hurt, just seemed like something was wrong. I don't know what the preacher was preaching on but everyone was seeking the Holy Spirit. (I think) Well church was over and everyone was hanging around, not sure why. A member that is close to the pastors wife came up to me and I said " do you know where I have been"? And she said "well yes i do, you have been waiting on a white horse before you come back here" ( I have been out of church for awhile now) I didn't know what she meant but I got this vision standing there that my pastors wife told her that I was waiting on a white horse. And I remember seeing that they both thought that was so strange. Well the pastors wife and I didn't say anything to each other for awhile then she came up to me and I said "I know what you told her" and she said "I will give you one more chance and then I won't forgive you anymore" I didnt say anything and for a few minutes, she thought and then she said "in 1 Cor.." she didn't finish because someone started talking to her. I walked out of the church then, trying to remember the verse she was going to tell me. Then I woke up.

This seems to mean something to me I guess because of the statement of a white horse. If anyone can help me, I appreciate it.
God bless.

I don't know what the preacher was preaching she didn't finish

I would not monkey with this dream, If it is spiritual, it is very suspect. The images were not real people. What ever was masking the images would be my concern. When the darkside approaches in dreams. You can never quite tell what they are saying or they do not finish. They will hit your mind with bits and pieces.
I would ignore this dream.

I dreamed that I was in church (Context for dream), it was almost dark outside (entering a difficult season - external to the church). The usual people were there (Is the church stagnating?) but I didn't sit with my usual friends.(Why - desire for something new or strained relationships there). I don't know why (Maybe there isn't a solid basis for it. Sometimes we can get upset with people & not know why. I am this way with people at times. It's good to be able to verbalize it.) but my pastors wife (Can symbolize the church) and I were upset with each other (Some offense or unforgiveness, or just a disconnect?). Not angry or hurt(a disconnect), just seemed like something was wrong. (get this sense in my gut at times. Don't know why. I wonder if it is sensing something in the spiritual realm coming from the other person) . I don't know what the preacher was preaching on (Maybe people are struggling to connect with the preaching) but everyone was seeking the Holy Spirit(Maybe something in the hunger of the people is not being met by the preaching). (I think) Well church was over and everyone was hanging around (This is a good sign, people wanting more), not sure why. A member that is close to the pastors wife (Knows concerns, heart of the church) came up to me and I said " do you know where I have been"? (Where am I at in relation to the church?) And she said "well yes i do, you have been waiting (Waiting cna be good if waiting on the Lord, or less positive if procrastination or fence sitting) on a white horse (Maybe witing for right motivation / desire) before you come back here (before returning)" ( I have been out of church (Are you attending another church?) for awhile now) I didn't know what she meant but I got this vision standing there that my pastors wife told her that I was waiting on a white horse (Did you share something in confidence or privately with someone at this church, expecting them not to tell anoyone & then find others were told about it?) . And I remember seeing that they both thought that was so strange (Do we need to be motivated to go to church or is it something we do because it's right? My view is that we shouldn't just depend on our feelings for church attendance, but if over a long period you are not feeling fed there and/or cannot for a fit for a place of service, maybe there's another church family that would be more appropriate.) Well the pastors wife and I didn't say anything to each other for awhile (Considering options, or because of disconnect?) then she came up to me and I said "I know what you told her" (Has she betraying a confidence?) and she said "I will give you one more chance and then I won't forgive you anymore" (Conditional or limited forgiveness) I didnt say anything and for a few minutes, she thought and then she said "in 1 Cor.." (The corinthian church struggled with a number of things including factions, pride & selfserviing in giftings, blantant sin in the church.) she didn't finish (No closure) because someone started talking to her (Distracted from key issue). I walked out of the church then (Decision to leave) , trying to remember the verse she was going to tell me. Then I woke up.

I get the impression you are continuing to work through your decision to move on from the church- perhaps some unresolved issues there or perhaps you are picking up the atttitude of some people in the spirit. Where a church is a fairly tight-knit community with deep relationships, people can struggle with unforgiveness towards those who leave. Also I think when we move on from a church there is still some risidual connection there which takes some time to fade.

Are you attending another church now? Are you considering returning to the church? The end of the dream seemed to have some finality to your decision to move on.

I haven't been going anywhere but I have been wanting to go back to my church. I only left because I wasnt able to attend. This dream kind of scared me, I felt like it was a warning but cant see why.

Thanks for your help. God bless you.

Have you been on your own conquest? That is a good thing in God's eyes. Your desire to return to a church is also a good thing. There is nothing that needs forgiveness in searching and going your own way, as long as we take God with us. If your pastors wife said she would limit how much she would forgive, that in itself is against the word, and a warning of judgement.
Revelation 6

I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” 2 I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

Hi. Thanks for sharing.

I read through the details of your dream and agree with Firewater and Humblewatchman.

It gave off the struggle to either stay where you are or move forward.

The disagreement between the Pastor & His wife, the sitting with different people, and the statement that the sister in your church that is close to your First Lady (FL) made all lead me to this.

1 Corinthians discusses many things but the common theme is addressing the church, leadership and the members. The one thing that stands out to me that may tie into your dream is the fact that there was quarrels in the church and some were following man and the division in the church was due to following man rather then being focused on the fact that all together should be following Christ (I'm paraphrasing 1 Corin. 10-17).

This may be about your issue on what church to attend or who to follow but your desire is to follow after Christ and you may not be finding Him at your current church.

Another aspect worth exploring is how you leave the church. It's possible that the Pastors have revelation knowledge of your struggle with leaving and are waiting for you to approach them concerning this.

Surely, where you desire to worship is your FREE choice. You have the right to go where the Lord leads or if left to you, where you feel you are fed. With that said, I personally believe that the body in which one currently serves is affected by each member and their decisions. Therefore, it's always a good idea (as a courtesy) to inform the Pastors that you are withdrawing your membership, or feeling led elsewhere. but as Humble pointed out, if God is leading you, there should be no judgement.

I think it's possible that part of this dream is that you may be battling with telling them or how to leave? But I think your mind is made up due to some things that you have picked up on in the spirit that causes you to question why you still there?

Another part that stood out was that no one was listening to the word being preached but rather they were seeking the Holy Spirit. That concerns me a bit.

I believe that preaching should be under the anointing and if God ordained the word the the Holy Spirit would be present so there is no need to seek what is already present. Know what I mean? it's like what Firewater pointed out, a stagnant feeling. Something is always off if His presence is there.

That may not be anything of great importance but it stood out to me.

These are just my shared thoughts with you. God bless and be prayerful.
