George Zimmerman had cause

I could care less what really happened, because that's for the justice system to figure out. What we need to be more concerned with, is the reaction the brothas are gonna have if Zimmermanis found not guilty. We know they're going to riot, loot, and beat to death damn near every white man(even though Zimmerman is Hispanic) cause one of their own was gunned down. It's the status quo when they don't feel justice is done for them. It's hypocritical, because they gun down their own race with little remorse.

If Zimmerman defended himself, then he did the right thing. If he stalked the kid, then he needs to be brought to justice. What irks me, is how people seem to always put race first when a black man is shot by someone that isn't black. The fact Zimmerman and his family have to literally hide because of being retaliated against, speaks volumes of the maturity level of not only the Black community, but Americans in general. All this innocent until guilty statements apparently don't apply when you kill a young black man, and you are not black.

The media is doing its level best to keep the black community enflamed about this incident. By this time the truth is so plain that even an idiot could figger it out. Zimmerman will walk, resulting in some violence from the black community. Hopefully no one will be killed by them.

Be careful out there. If you don't need to go into urban areas, don't. If you must, do your business quickly and leave. Try not to make unnecessary eye contact; it could be taken as a challenge.

White progressives; don't think past pandering or an Obama bumper sticker is some kind of shield. You will get clobbered like anyone else if you are in the wrong place when it goes down (and at this point it looks like it will).

Holder's soldiers are ready. Are you?

whites have too many guns for anything to happen, especially the ones outside urban centers.

I'm curious why you specifically speak to "white progressives."

I picture Trayvon (having been intercepted and confronted) refusing to acknowledge Zimmerman's authority to demand any information from him regarding who he was and why he was in that neighborhood. I can see Trayvon angrily 'sucker punching' Zimmerman in the face thus starting the violence that followed. The struggle eventually led to both fighting for control of the gun which was now exposed. The struggle went on for several moments but Trayvon didn't scream until seconds before he was shot. At that point he knew he couldn't get the gun from Zimmerman's grip and thus the desparate yell for help. Zimmerman believed that if Trayvon did wrest the gun from him that it would be turned on himself.

I believe Trayvon carried a lot of anger within and it all boiled up in that confrontation, leading to his violent response, and resulting in his death. Very sad.

I believe that Zimmerman will not be prosecuted. If he is it will be a 'show trial' for the purpose availing the legal process to everyone, even though the conclusion will be evident early on.

So you tend to believe Zimmerman based on your own unrelated attacks from your youth? You base Zimmerman's just cause on painful memories - that is not very objective.

Ahhh! So you knew Trayvon before he got shot? Hung out with him? Hung out with his friends? If not how is what you posted there different from the very thing you're decrying in everyone else?

I'm not sure how walking back to the house of your father's girlfriend with skittles and ice tea counts as perpetuating violence against you or those in your care...

Who is in self defense? A man with a gun and actively provocated a search, or a man without weapon on his way home?

In this case, a murderer said he killed for self defense. That opened the door to bandit to rob people without any risk. If he failed, he could kill the victim then claim he is self defense. That is the point.

I'm profiling Trayvon as one of millions of troubled, angry, black youth that are often quick to act violently when someone 'gets in their face'. I've seen it happen many times. Yup.

So...that would be a "no" as too you're having any actual first hand knowledge of who Trayvon was? Or even the actual facts in the case. The one thing you do seem sure of is: Trayvon was the person in the wrong. I'm sorry, but I still don't see how what you're doing is even slightly different from what you're decrying.
