Here's the deal...

1) The Afghans don't want us there

2) The majority of American people don't want us there

3) The majority of American troops don't want to be there

So what are we still doing there? Standing by and doing nothing is not the way to enact change. We need to be writing and calling our elected representatives to to tell them to end to this war.

Most unfortunately for the Afghans, their country occupies a strategic piece on land there between Russia, China, Iran and India. A "friendly" pipeline that has to bypass both the Russian sphere and the Islamic Republic Iran has to go through Afghanistan, and régime change or changes as needed in Afghanistan, for all its trouble, has obviously still been deemed more doable than invasion & occupation of Iran.

Heres the deal:

BHObama has turned Afganistan into a Vietnam. It didn't have to be this way but with him declaring that Afgan was the good war and Iraq was the bad war, he has made the situation 100 times worse than could ever imagine. In 2007, Bush had a simple, concise plan that he presented in front of the House Comittee on intelligence. It would have had us out in 3 years and we would have won, he would have provided the resources to get the job done quickly. Obama said NO NO NO, I am NOT doing Bush's plan, I want my own BHObama plan so I can say CHANGE.

But.... he has literarly made the situation in Afganistan 100TIMES worse. It is another Vietnam. He only gave the generals 60% of what they needed to follow out his 10 year plan. Because he docked them 40% of what they needed to win, the 10 year plan he had is now a 20 year war. It seems hopeless.

But BHObama had to have things his way and did a cute little tap dance to keep his anti-war kos kids off his back. Now are troops are in a situation that is literarly impossible. Its all thanks to BHO. We might lose this war, but its because of BHO and his nonsense.

Hope... Nope
Change... Dope

We are fighting the war in Afghanistan because it is a just war, and part of the Battle of Ar Mageddon. We cannot let the 7th head of the beast win.

Oh please. All of this ignores the fact that had Bush fought the war properly, we would have been out of there in two years at the most.

Oh, and by the way? One of the few things I agree with Obama on is that Iraq was the bad, unnecessary war and Afghanistan was justified at first. But once three years passed, it was going on too long.

By the way, John McCain and Rick Perry, both Republicans, said that we would stay in Iraq and Afghanistan for 100 years "if we had to" (McCain) and that if he (Perry) was President, he'd send us right back in to Iraq and Afghanistan AFTER WE HAD PULLED OUT under Obama.

So don't give me this bullcrap that Bush is the good guy and Obama is the bad guy. Don't even.

Indeed. Imagine someone referencing Biblical prophecy on a Christian forum. Why, that's just unheard of.

On the contrary, it's been heard of every generation throughout history since the disciples, and always with the same result.

Absolutely nothing but death, destruction, and evil action on our part.

Ah, so we're going to believe a Press Release sponsored by the Obama administration about a birth certificate sponsored by the Obama administration after they were the ones to handle it?

Unfortunately I cannot post links yet, but that long form has been proven time and again to be a fake. Just Google it. (I'd do it for you, but the post limit)

No, it hasn't. You have a bunch of right-wing blogger nuts who like to delude themselves with conspiracy theories. Kind of like how they babble about chemtrails, TV mind control, vaccines and water fluoridation.

And don't forget the detention camps for those who didn't receive the H1N1 vaccine. They must have missed me because I didn't get the vaccination.

Bush was put into office by God.

God wants to destroy America?

Where Obama's birth certificate? Still can't answer that one can you?!

On the contrary, I can, and quite easily. This is old hat.

John McCain would've had us out of the middle east by now.

Why should I believe you, when it took Bush a decade and he still didn't get us even close to being out? Besides, there's that whole pesky thing where McCain said we'd stay in there for 100 years.

*narrows eyes*

Don't look outside your window. That helicopter is not a Centers for Disease Control special operations squad I've sent to secure you for interrogation and processing.

Because if we weren't over there, the radical islamic nutcases who believe in the "Black flags of Khorasan" would be using that country as a launching pad to fling bombs at us.

Wonderful fear-monger assessment, but unfortunately intelligence agencies (you know, the spies and whatnot, that know way more about all this than either of us?) disagree ^_^
