Praying for you.

Looks like there are more than 60 churches in your community. Do any have multiple services, with one service starting a little later?

If that indeed is not an option, I would suggest at least to join a home bible study at some time during the week. I know some of those meet in the evening, which should be better for your schedule.

There are 60 churches in the community? Perhaps in a 10 mile radius. We don't drive, plus my husband has to attend a specific denomination for his degree. this leaves one church we can walk to and their second morning service is 10:00 AM. Most churches around here have a 5:00 evening service but it's more of a discussion class than anything else. We've called other churches for rides but none of them have been able to continue to pick us up for some reason or another.

In my community there are dozens of church vans and buses driving around every Sunday, so I'm a little surprised none are willing to help you get to church regularly. In any event, I will continue praying for you.

Your writting skills are good, to the point of me being able to read the whole thread. How would you do editing written work for a local writing place? geee sorry its all i got. Would you get around by transit? start smell, take one day at a time. Work on fulfilling God's will for your life.

Praying that God will open your eyes, mind, and heart to what He has for you. I know you probably don't want to hear this, but you MAY want to consider adjusting your own schedule so you're getting up and going to bed at more "standard" times. I know it's hard (I'm a night owl, too), but you're right...the world really isn't structured for people who want to sleep during the day.

Good advice but I've been trying to do this unsuccessfully for the last 21 years of my life. I've been like this since I was 8 years old. Sleep meds make me hyper and nothing natural has helped. This is beyond just being a night owl. I have Non-24 Sleep-Wake Disorder.
