In this coming day when many are escaping from those living in error, the modern-day Amaleks of the churches will come forth FIRST to deceive the unstable souls who will waver in their faith of the Word of Truth. They will take the feeble who are trailing behind with their great swelling words of vanity. They will promise them liberty but are really slaves of their own covetousness.
2 Peter 2:14-20 KJV
(14) Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
The Amaleks will have forsaken the right way and will have gone astray because they will love the wages of unrighteousness more than God. They will use their flattering tongues (Babylon) to deceive those who will be escaping from them. They will like things to continue as they always have
.deceiving people out of their money, time, peace, joy, righteousness with the deceptive handling of the Word of God. They will like to keep you in their company under their influence.
(15) Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
(16) But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
(17) These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
Like the Amaleks did to those feeble who were escaping from Egypt, they will meet those by the Way of Truth and smite the hindermost
..all the feeble behind those who are escaping. The feeble are those who will waver in their faith in the hearing of the Truth
.. unstable souls.
(18) For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
(19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
The children of Israel were escaping Egypt
.and so in this last day we also shall be escaping the pollutions of this religious world (with all of its errors and its enslavement to the covetousness of religious men in high places) through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Amaleks will be there to try to entangle you AGAIN
..
(20) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
The modern-day Amaleks love the wages of unrighteousness and will be the first enemies to attack the unstable who will waver in the faith of the Word of Truth. They have hearts exercised with covetous practices
.and will not renounce the hidden things of dishonesty but will continue to walk in craftiness handling the Word of God deceitfully. They will love to have differing weights so to speak.
Deuteronomy 25:13-19 KJV
(13) Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.
(14) Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small.
They will forsake the right way
..
(15) But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
They are cursed children.....an abomination unto Jehovah our God.
(16) For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.
(17) Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;
The Hebrew word for feeble means to make unsteady
as they will deceive the unstable souls who are escaping from those living in error in their churches.
(18) How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.
The modern-day Amaleks are cursed children for their remembrance shall be blotted out from under heaven.
(19) Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.
They are cursed children
.for Jehovah shall have war with Amalek from generation to generation.
Exodus 17:14-16 KJV
(14) And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
(15) And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi:
(16) For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.
The modern-day Amaleks will not renounce the hidden things of dishonesty (having divers weights) and will deceive those who will be feeble
.faint and weary
in the faith in this coming time.
2 Corinthians 4:1-5 KJV
(1) Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
(2) But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
(3) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
(4) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The Amaleks will preach themselves and not Christ Jesus the Lord.
(5) For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
Woe to those Amaleks who will covet an evil covetousness to his house. They will bring in damnable heresies as they will promise those who will be escaping from them liberty. They will be promising that no evil shall come upon them. peace and safety.
Habakkuk 2:9-10 KJV
(9) Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!
(10) Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul.
The Amaleks have covetousness as their king
.and they shall with feigned words make merchandise of you in this coming time when one is escaping from them. They cant be trusted. Their peace and safety message will bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 Peter 2:1-3 KJV
(1) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
(2) And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
(3) And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
We are to mortify
.to deaden
the tongue that speaks through covetousness which is idolatry.
Colossians 3:5 KJV
(5) Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
Beware of covetousness
.. Agag, the king of Amalek. Agag means flame and represents the flame of covetousness that burns in the heart of the Amaleks. Their god is their own belly.
1 Samuel 15:18-26 KJV
(18) And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.
(19) Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?
(20) And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.
(21) But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.
(22) And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
(23) For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
(24) And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.
(25) Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD.
(26) And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.
Through covetousness have many with feigned words deceived many. With their sword, they have made women childless. Many have not spoken the Word of God in Truth because of the covetousness of religious men in high places.
1 Samuel 15:32-33 KJV
(32) Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.
(33) And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.
Amaleks use flattering words
.with the sword of their mouths
.to deceive
a cloak for their covetousness.
1 Thessalonians 2:4-7 KJV
(4) But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
(5) For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:
They seek glory of men
.
(6) Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ.
(7) But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:
This is the will of God
.even our sanctification
that we should abstain from fornication
.which is covetousness.
1 Thessalonians 4:2-8 KJV
(2) For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
(3) For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
(4) That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
(5) Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:
Fornication is covetousness
.defrauding others with our feigned words. The Lord is the avenger of all such
for He will war against the Amaleks from generation to generation.
(6) That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
(7) For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
(8) He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.
We are COMMANDED not to keep company with the covetous
.those who walk disorderly
2 Thessalonians 3:6-9 KJV
(6) Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
(7) For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
(8) Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
(9) Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
