Hi everyone. I haven't been here for a while. How are you all doing? My hip has been killin' me. Might be a disc problem.
We are supposed to get a nasty ice storm on Wednesday this week here in Michigan.
Our little granddaughter is growing like crazy. I'm sure glad my husband has an iPad so we can facetime with our little cutie. The next grandchild is due in May. Too much fun.

I haven't been on here too much lately either. My grandson is now 4 1/2 weeks old and doing wonderfully well. He is over 3 pounds and off of all oxygen support. Next step will be learning how to use a bottle. He is a little miracle and a joy. We definitely see his personality shining through too.

I just love hearing about your grandson's progress in your updates. We have a little internet family here that has been concerned about him. He sure is a little fighter. Our granddaughter has a bad cold and cough right now - I just found out today from my DIL. The little gal will be 3 months old on March 10th. She went to the doctor yesterday, but it looks like she just has to ride it out. I sure wish we lived closer.

I feel for ya Sis, my back has been out off and on for the last month or so. Naproxin has been my best friend. Don't like taking drugs (nasty things). Sadly, what little medical care I have will pay for the drugs and not Chriopractic.

It's snowing here in beautiful downtown Fawn Lodge. The snow's been flying since eight. I'd say there's three inches so far. If it doesn't turn to rain, then there should be a foot or more by morning. Such an odd winter this is...

QA -- so glad to hear he's doing well. Thanks be to God!

Mel -- How exciting! I hope you'll share some wedding pics after the big event.

Omajoy -- I like your new name. You must really be enjoying being an "Oma".

Stude -- May God bless you with comfort and healing for your back.

Really got quiet here in TCL

I know I have been busy trying to stay afloat at school. Friday at 2 p.m. begins Spring Break. I will hang around here a few days and then head to see the grandson. Can't wait to see him again. It has only been2 weeks. It is awesome to see the progress the little buy has made in his 5 weeks. He is 3 pounds 10 ounces now!!!! Room air and in a crib now.

My youngest son gave his Christian Witness Saturday night at church. I have to say I am very proud of him. He has grown so much in his faith this year and it was nice to hear in his words what his faith means to him. :)

it's part of their confirmation class. Way back in the day they use to have a Sunday where they would ask all the confirmads questions from the Small Catechism. Now they have the kids write a short paper about a topic from the Catechism and present it to the congregation. My son's topic was "What does the comfort of Jesus mean to me."
