Soul Surfer should be a good faith-based movie that can be enjoyed by families and it has some big name stars in it.

The radio station I listen to (WAY-FM) sent their primary personality out to Hawaii to see some filming of the movie and do some cast interviews and then they recently did a contest to send a lucky listener to the NYC premiere.

Unlike so many Christian films that do not fit into the mainstream world of movies, this one does and I look forward to watching it. And don't worry, you don't have to be a fan of surfing to enjoy it, I'm sure.

Saw it, loved it, and highly recommend it.

I will more than likely rent it. Not showing anymore.

It's still playing this weekend on over 1,400 screens! But 1,400 screens means not everywhere. I just checked and it's not playing near me either.

It's done really well in the 6 weeks it's been out. Opening weekend it was 4th at the Box Office and it's projected to be the 8th most watched movie this weekend. A few recent movies that it's done better than -- Arthur, Paul, Scream 4.

The film's estimated budget was $18 Million and it's raked in, thus far, over $39,000,000. Not too shabby! Fairly big names like Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt, Carrie Underwood and AnnaSophia Robb have helped this gain more attention than so many faith-based movies starring no one anyone's ever really heard of.

It's nice to see this has done as well as it has.

Soon as it's available, I'll be renting it, too.

looks boring so I'll most likely skip it, But then again, the only movie out worth seeing is THOR, and since I've seen that if I get bored enough just maybe I'll go see it.

I would not go to the theater to see it, but I'm sure it's got merit in it's own right, that girl is very inspirational and she held unto her faith despite tragedy, I respect that very much.

I'm not even a surfer, and I enjoyed watching the movie. Soul Surfer is one of the most inspiration Christian films I've seen. It's definitely one of my little sister's favorites too, she must have watched it four or five times already!

Is this better?

Just saw this a day ago and BAM, just like that it's one of my favorite movie ever! SO good!!!

Still love to talk about this one. A great movie about courage,never give up.
