It is amazing to me how I felt pressed to write this on my computer on September 10, 2001. I hadn't written in my book about "God's Call for This Generation" for weeks (as some of you know I have been writing it for a while now), since I had been hampered with hearing God's hearts for the book because I felt I should "wait" to start drafting a good introduction to the content I had already written. That night I felt a leading from the Holy Spirit unlike anything else, a leading that God wanted me to write something signifigant for our generation, for htis book, and for you. I made the concious decision not to post it on the King's Tavern that night because I felt that this message should be one not dependent on who the actual author is. I do not take credit for it. In fact, it has been two days now after doors have been closed (my computer crashing, my office sending me home as it is in a federal building, my home internet access being deleted as our ISP was bought out a day before, and so many other obstacles.) You are reading this because God has saw fit to open the doors for you to read it.

After an intense time of personal praise and worship that evening, I found myself typing away into the night. Unlike anything else I have ever experienced, I felt that this was something signifigant in my life to write, and here as I share it with you I realize now that there is a purpose why it was written at 10:30pm, Monday September 10, 2001 - and why you are reading it now:

Where are we headed as a generation? The same as our fathers and mother’s footsteps? The way of society? Where are we going? Wait.

The Lord is mighty in battle, strong over the enemy, and soon the leader of our army will Appear in His Comming. It is not a matter of if we are ready or not. It is a matter if we have truly dedicated our lives to Him. Individually we need a Savior and individually we need to make Him Lord. But together, as a generation, as a people, we have been called to be tested as the generation after Joshua’s was tested - except I don’t believe we are called to fail. This generation’s glory can go to another, but we are that generation which God has ordained for this moment in time and history. We are alive because God choose at this time that we come about, that we live now, and not a hundred or even fifty years ago, or in the future. We are born for such a time as this.

What can God do to change our hearts? We wander aimlessly after our fathers, who gave up the world for the sake of the world - they entrenched themselves in solid humanism, which was defined by their parents. We are a generation are called to rebel against the established order by following another: The order of Jesus Christ in our lives and living through us.

Matthew 28:19 “As you’re going, make disciples of all nations, baptising them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

The mandate is clear: as we live our lives at God’s direction, our lives become a part of our witness to those around us, the nations we live in, and we bring to them a knowledge of who Jesus Christ is: our God, our Father, our Lord. We should worship Him with our lives. Our very lives. It means giving up our ambitions for something even greater. It means sacrificing our dreams in taking up another. It means giving up something which we can give up! We live at a time in history where the options and freedoms are so plentiful that we have a new definition for it: “information overload.” The internet is just one of many ways our horizons in the global community have been enlarged, but many refusing to go where it’s bad, and many staying only where it is good. What we have is a generation of people looking to define their existence by the choices their parents could not make. We have to recognize this an an opportunity from God to seek and serve Him, to truly give our lives to what He has offered us: the choice to preach the gospel to every nation on earth, to see multitudes come to know Christ, and to see and hear of miracles in what many would call then the Last Days.

As someone young, I see that our identity is no more our age than a fingernail identifies your body. We understand that a body has many other parts, and that those parts function together as a whole. The Apostle Paul said it, and wrote about this idea, this Holy Spirit-given concept: that we are a people of God called out to be seperated for His purposes and glory. Our identity should be in Him and found only in Him. We are of His family. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life, you have made it into the famiy: a family God desires all people to come be a part of; a close famiy with Christ at it’s head: our Lord and Savior; and our relationship with God, who is our Father, and desires to be our “Abba.”

There is much to learn and much to do. What this generation needs are leaders to rise up to the call God has placed in their hearts. These leaders are those who have had dreams of their own, potential for success in others areas, for personal gain and benefit, and for helping the world become a better place - but these people God is calling out of their directional pursuit. He is laying a foundation and core of His love and relationship so that they begin to question their destiny, that they begin to see a bigger and better pictures of life. God removes these people, from friends, with famiy, with mentors, with leaders, with pursuits of God on their own - but soon God is rising them up for the challenge of their lifetimes: to be the men and women of God that He has raised up, nameless and not self-seeking, but humble, and hubled by their experiences now, as they have grown up in this world. God is nurting these people to lead a generation that will go before it: a people choosen before the dawn of time, a congregation of the living who serve the Most High daily - forever. He is calling us, you and me, and our generation, to change the future for what it already has been foretold about so long ago: the end of the Ages, and the beginning of the New and Final Age - the Everlasting Age of God with Man forever. Satan knows this and tries to raise up counterfeits, and lies, and deceptions which tear away at the Truth of God, bliding the people of this world in the lost hope of ever finding the Truth.

We are called to lift the veil, and to confront the enemy, our spiritual enemy, at every corner of our lives, and together with people, but with God finally win the victory of Him that has been assured since the day of Adam’s fall, and completed the day Christ died on the cross.

We are at the end of human history as we have known it from the perspective of the Fall. Things are going to get tough, governments won’t like us, and our closest and deepest friends will reject us. But we are called to carry on in love, and to pray for our enemies. Are we ready for this? I believe so, for no other generation has had such an open worldview in it’s growth and makeup - a view it’s parents could not understand, and are just now grasping. We are a generation of world changers. We are a generation called of God to fulfill our destiny, we are called the children of God.

What are we to do? The Holy Spirit knows. Right now, all across the world, the Spirit of God is moving in such many different ways, but He is targeting us - the younger part of this generation of world-seekers , and is turning our attention away from the world, and back onto Him. He is calling us to purity, to forgiveness, to love, to eternal life. He is calling us towards Him. Will we respond? I believe that is our destiny. Let us enter into the promised land without looking back. Let’s truly be the Joshua generation. Let’s rise up to the call - the call of the generations, the call of Christians everywhere: the News, the good oh so very “good news.” There is only one thing that truly sets people free: our love for them, and God’s love through us.

A Message of God to this Generation Sept. 10, 2001

Where are we headed as a generation? The same as our fathers and mother’s footsteps? The way of society? Where are we going? Wait.

The Lord is mighty in battle, strong over the enemy, and soon the leader of our army will appear in His Comming. It is not a matter of if we as a generation are ready or not. What we have now is a generation of people looking to define their existence by the choices their parents, like their parents before them, choices previous generations could not make. Some thoughts I have had recently, are that there is a new type of Christian beginning to emerge. This new type of Christian is the Christian that will fight, both spiritually and physiclly in the coming years. It is this type of Chrsitian that will leave a legacy for the new believers during the Tribulation.

As I witness the events unfold across the world, and especially in the last year, I see prophecy being fulilled, I see Daniel coming to bare, and the return of the Lord at hand.

The Christians of the Tribulation will be like no other. This Christian will be touher, stronger, and more in tune with God than any before. They will have to be. This new type of Christian will not have time to sit around and debate the Trinity, or Predestination, etc... it won't matter to them. I think that today, Christians spend much to much time on debating non-essentials, than instead going out and erraticating the false teachings of the enemy. I also feel that todays Christians are afraid of letting the enemy close, ont to giv ethe enemy rom to breath, but instead making it possible to put a strangle hold on the enemy.

I feel that as the Tribulation draws near, it is the duty of the Body of Christ to prepare for them. A time will come when no one will be witnessing to anyone, and the Christians of tomorrow will be shown who God is directly, and the army of God will be forged form the onslaught of the Anti-Christ.

Our President said: "This is a new type of War." I got goose bumps when I heard thta, becasue just at that time I was thinking of 2 things:

Firstly, I see many types of religions out there, but more so than late, I see alot of controversy over Mulim vs Christianity as well as the "Muslim Nation" vs the USA and Israel, and her allies. Are there two opposing groups of Muslims here? We have Muslims in the states that Love this country, and yet we have Muslims overseas cheering at this tragedy. Ben Laden said a few years back that it is the duty of every Muslim to kill any American. This leads me into my next point:

Is this an issue of nations or of religions? I have heard countless times "Muslims vs Americans." Are they truly saying "Muslim vs Christianity"? Or do they not see the Muslim faith as a religion, but as a nationality?

I feel it os the first. I think the MUslim nation has alway looked at America as its enemy, becasu we side with Israel. We both claim to be God's people, and yet only one of us is. It all boils down to who is God's people? Mnay groupos say they are.. but only one will be in the end.

I war is coming.. a new type of war. Not one that will be fought by nations, but one that will be fought by beleifs. God's people vs Satans.

Today, I truly feel we are standing at the brink of this. It is time for todays Christians to wake p and take notice of the reality of the time we live in. The end is near. I truly beleive it will happen in my life time. I feel, God willing I do not die unnaturally, that I will see Him come back.

I look at the struggles with Israel and Palastine.. fighitng over control of the Temple and the Rock, fighitng over who is the rightful poeple to be led by God. It is sad that they still await the Messiah's first coming. a messiah to lead them into war, and i am fearful, and yet know al to well, that the Anti-Chris will be that Messiah in their eyes.

Today, America is allied with Israel. Think for a moment what this means. NATO has enacted Article 5, something it has never done before. With this enacted, all of our allies are at war with whoever America is at war with.

Say we go to war with not just one person, but with nations that supporet trrorism: Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Iran...

This will bring the nations of Nato into the war as well.. one of those is Israel. Israel's beggest enemy is Palastine, who are sipported and aided by the Taliban. The Taliban are harbored and aided by Afghanistan.

This means that this will put Israel and Palastine in all out war, with each having allies on either side.

Now, what of non NATO nations? What about Russia, the Magog mentioned in the Bible. The former USSR was a member of NATO, but the new former Union states are not. Many new, independant countries have risen up. These countries have aided countries like Afghanistan and Syria. If they ultimately join with their side, this places them in oppostion with Israel. And when Magog decends upon Israel, the time of the Lords return is here.

America, the great country it is, is just a catalyst in these events. Has the recent activities alreay began to set events in motion? Only time will tell.

I urge everyone to think about where they are in thier walk with God. DO you spoend your time squabbling over logistics and traditions? Over religion and Dogma? Over who is more irhgt in the eyes of the Lord?

Or do you in stead rally with eachother, under one cause: Christianity, and set out to prepare the future Body of Christ for the Hell on earth that awaits them?

I've been given a similar call.
I'm tired of the countless debates over whether this is this way or that another.
I may not entirely agree with you on the tribulation, in fact I'm not sure what I believe there, but I do believe we are being called from our slumber. At least I am, now is a time to stand as the people of God. To quit asking how far can I go before it's too far and start asking instead, how much closer can I possibly get to God. That question will answer all the others.

“I’ve told you these things to prepare you for rough times ahead. They are going to throw you out of the meeting places. There will even come a time when anyone who kills you will think he’s doing God a favor. They will do these things because they never really understood the Father. I’ve told you these things so that when the time comes and they start in on you, you’ll be well-warned and ready for them"

...And even as we pray and contemplate the not to distant past...as I take an account of my failings and my victories in His Spirit...walking in his Holy Spirit...I know that I am just a man. But he can use a mere vessel in his hand like a sword in a fight for life itself...when the vessel in his hand has rested there it becomes one with the One who weilds it and Holy in his right hand.

I come into the throne room boldly not because of my works but because of his works in me...using me as he sees fit. I come boldly into the throne room not because I say I have a right to be there but because HE HAS JUSTIFIED ME by his Word and I submit to his Word despite what I see with my eyes, hear with my ears, contemplate with my mind, or feel in my heart.

I know Him because he has known me because he has filled me with the Spirit of the Holy One, Jesus the Christ.

Father use us for your Glory! Thank you Lord for making us your sons! Your daughters! Your children Lord!

Sonship Through the Spirit

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors--not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

From Suffering to Glory

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. 24For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

26Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

28And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom HE JUSTIFIED, these He also glorified.

Romans 8, NKJV
This is only the beginning of what is coming...what is coming will sanctify the name of Joshua.

Joesephus you are so right on my heart is rejoicing because God has given me the same message for the youth. I am 50 and The lord began speaking to me about this long ago. You will lead the peole back to Jesus, the present church system not people is wrong and you know it. Because of the honesty of your generation you will be able to fix what mine has ruined. There is no reason to believe that people or the church is filled with the Spirit of God. We have become a greedy, status seeking, recognition hungry, position orientated, self-centered mess. To top it all off we justify this from the scripture. Of course it is not quite as blatant as that. We have forgotten who we are. So, I would ask you to stop reading the bible for just a while and ask yourself this question, who I.? (intro from book I am trying to write)

I would like you to consider a change. Think with me through the following:
You are a child of God. We are in a present kingdom, The kingdom Of God. This kingdom is now and yet still coming. We must be taught by Jesus and his followers how to operate in the Kingdom Of God. Jesus taught, demonstrated, and practiced, with His students. He then sent them out to do the same. We must be full of the spirit of God, leading to oneness with the Father and the Son. We will say it is no longer I who live but Christ. We will heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, feed the poor, teach those who have no shepherd. Go around doing good, loving our enemies, blessing those who persecute us, returning good for evil, and being a blessing not a curse. This is new but it is not new. Hearing and doing is the key. All mixed with faith, and knowing God has created you in His image at this time for great things. Young people will begin to lead us. Listen to them. It is my prayer that we can begin the journey now. While talking to a youth pastor recently, I saw the key, “I want to do that, I need help, I’m green, I want to learn”. What humility for a 25 year old pastor? God gives the kingdom to the humble! So let us go on from here.
Being a disciple of Jesus Christ is the highest calling. We must always remain peaceful and humble, loving one another knowing that the world will know we are the children of God because we love.

People like you Joesephus are the hope for the kingdom of God. in full power which only comes from God you do the work of Jesus. From hearts fo compassion you meet human suffering in the name of Jesus and do something about it. You will now teach the elders in the kingdom, some will listen help them others will reject you because you challange the creability of a large profit making non profit organization. Set it off POD now is the time.

I will spend my time, till God says to stop, trying to encourage youth like yourself. www.allnew.org. you may not agree with me at every point but you will agree that God is calling and using your gen in a way never before seen. xtreme leaders XYZ

Go for it my brother the kingdom is yours.

Most Americans deny responsibility for much of the "Evils" of America, but God still hold them responsible.

2Jo 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Those who vote for "candidates" who espouse equal right for "homosexuals" and "abortionist" are just as guilty as the Homosexual and Abortionist.

Like Satan, all who support them, are giving "their seat and great authority" to these "sons of Satan" to carry out their evil and becoming partaker with them in that evil.

Roughly 4000 abortion murders are committed each day in America, yet Justice was only sought for the 168 of Oklahoma city.

Mt 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Mt 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Mt 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

In condemning one murderer and letting the others go free, an injustice was committed that can only be remedied by the same measures meted to him.

America not only passed Judgment on him, but also upon it's self.

A couple of strange things happened before September 11th.
About two weeks before, I remember thinking about Afghanistan and that and what a relief it was to be in the West without having to share their troubles to have peace instead of war. Little did I know that these troubles were about to consume the whole world!
I also had an odd dream around the same time. I dreamt that I was in a large city (didn't know where) and that something like a huge bomb had gone of in the top of this huge Skyscraper I was in. I then remember I and thousands of others frantically trying to get down these stairs. I then in my dream saw two skyscapers collapsing! Very weird! I have never had any preminitions before!
I thought at the time that it was just a dream, only after 9/11 did I remember it.

I have also since had lots of dreams about war in Britain, nuclear bombs going off in cities such as London, massacres of ordinary civilians, bombing of Britains cities and believers being persecuted, rounded up and martared for their faith.
I don't know what all this is about, but if there is anything in it, it is frightening and to be honest I could see such things happening by the end of my lifetime if I live long (- I am only 21 now).
I think to be honest we are in the calm before a great storm- the worst global conflict by far this world has ever seen and one which will usher in the tribulation.

>>our closest and deepest friends will reject us. But we are called to carry on in love

The problem is one of compromise. I have noticed in the last few months that I am not as close to my friends as I was. They have to see that I am going to walk with God with no compromise. Even if it means having to walk with Him alone. But we are never really alone with God, there are always others. We are a called out people from a called out people. That we can proclaim His praise and glory.

Romans 11:3-5
"Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life"? [4] But what does the divine response say to him? "I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal." [5] Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
