Evolution talks a lot about the beginning. But evolution also talks about the end with extinctions like the Holocine Extinction around the time of the Nanodiamond Comet that hit the earth. Meaning that the end of an era can be marked with an event that involves a comet hitting the earth.

I know there is a current events board. But I wanted to bring up the LA arsonist because this story is of value in understanding The Apocalypse and Armageddon. We talk so much about Genesis or the beginning. Also there is the end. As I said God knows the end from the beginning. So we have as much to say about the end of this age as we do about the Genesis or the beginning. Remember I have talked about the Apophis Comet on April 13, 2029. We have talked about Science and their roll in weapons, esp. Nucular bombs and how this can play an event in end time events. We have talked about natural disasters like what happened in Japan and if this was a punishment from God and so on. Nolw we have a LA bomber that is from Germany. If you remember on 911 at the NYC Twin Towers we had an Egyptian that was an Engineering Student in Germany. Germans of course are the ones that gave us the Holocaust, ww1 and ww2. So Germany could be a part of ww3 also.

Ok, the point is one man can do a lot of damage in a very short period of time. He used the gasoline in the tanks of the cars that were in the garage under the buildings. This was one man that was caught fairly fast. But what if you had 1000 men in LA or NY causing a lot of damage. This is the sort of thing they talk about when they talk about end time events and the tribulation period. So it is nice that 6,000 years ago there was a beginning. Even 2000 years ago was the beginning of the Church. But there is also an end. God knows the end from the Beginning. If there were only a beginning with no end then that maybe a different story. But even evolution talks about population explosions and mass extinctions. So clearly even evolutionists believe in a beginning and a end.

So if you want, then take your chances. But it maybe a good idea to have a bit of insurace and keep your bases covered.

Philippians 3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
Philippians 3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

People such as yourselves have been talking the end of the world for many centuries. How many dates have been chosen and passed by without even a blip? There have been a great many, that is for certain.

Of coarse there will be an end, but it wont be like the Bible or any other mythologies prediction.

You guys have your own eschatology too: overpopulation, depletion of resources, Y2K, various syzygyies, asteroid impacts, earthquakes, ozone depletion, global warming, radon gas, lead paint, asbestos, killer bees, Hong Kong flu, Swine flu, Legionnaires disease, AIDS and ice ages.

So please quit bragging on us and making us look so good.

Very few of those could end Humanity, let alone that most of those come from the media and its love of overhyping and not any scientific source.

Religious folk claim that the end of the world will happen during a major event in a short period of time. Other than a giant asteroid the other things you named would only reduce the human populations, but wouldn't completely wipe it out.

Either way when the last man/woman dies it won't be due to biblical revelation.

I'll bet that behind most of those -- if not all of them -- is a shrewdness of scientists.

I don't know and neither do you.
Bologna -- I know exactly how this universe is going to end; and technobabble is about as foreign to me as Chamorro was to James Strong.

Overpopulation will reduce the human population?

We have abundant information about what 1000 men trying to cause damage can do. We also have abundant information about what 1,000,000 men, armed not with gasoline but with planes, ships, high explosives and artillery, can do when they try to cause damage. What they can do is cause a lot of damage and kill a lot of people. What they can't do is cause the world to end.

This is the sort of thing they talk about when they talk about end time events and the tribulation period.
When they talk about the Tribulation they're talking about a rash of carport fires? I don't think so.

Wow -- that's sad.

Please tell me you were joking.

I don't think he is joking, and I wonder why you ask that since you constantly use words like "evilutionist" and "aceldama". If evolutionists are evil and academia is a place for the likes of Judas Iscariot, why wouldn't someone that demonstrated abiogenesis be the anti-Christ?

But that's not what is sad, what is really sad is that even if what he says would to happen, I mean, even if someone created life from nothing more but chemical compounds, creationists would still not believe in abiogenesis.

It shows that some are willing to sell their soul for science.
... since you constantly use words like "evilutionist" and "aceldama".
I do not constantly use the word 'evilutionist'.

I have used it in the past, but I really don't care for it.

'Aceldama' is another thing -- ;)

Good point.

That's right -- because when the Antichrist demonstrates it, it will be done just to get scientists to take the Mark.

Hey, I'm from Germany! And not only did I visit an institute of the higher acedemia here, I was born and raised here and lived all my life here!

Where do I have to sign in to start WW3? Do I have to buy a gun? Or is being an Atheist enough?
