When was prayer removed from school? Students can pray all the time.

Or do you mean school led prayer over the loudspeakers? In that case I don't see why you would want it at all. Can't have any school led prayers without it looking like the school supports that religion.

There ought to be no Department of Education to make such decisions. It is unconstitutional. Let education devolve to the states severally (see the 10th Amendment), and to the localities. Let the people in each jurisdiction decide, not the federal bureaucracy. Then people can move where there are others of like mind.

As a Unitarian, I think the answer is obvious - a Unitarian prayer!

Christian children will always pray in school. There is absolutely nothing that the secular, ungodly can do about that.

As far as corporate prayer is concerned, once a revival spreads throughout this nation, than the tide will turn and G-d will begin to bless this nation again. The Church here in America needs to wake up, repent, and turn back to G-d. And once this is done, the Church will have more influence in this country and we will reclaim it for Christ. There will be no more laws protecting the slaughter of unborn children, the protecting of the homosexual perversion, or the protection of inappropriate content, and all the other abominations.

Christian, and all other religious, children in the US have their rights to pray in school protected by federal law. All the kids who want to pray are able to do so now and even form extra curricular clubs for that purpose. What they are not allowed to do is disrupt school to pray nor have the administration of the school endorse their prayer one way or there other.

When your religious has a resurgence I should expect a repeal of the first amendment and a general attack on religious liberty?

Nothing we want to do about it, either. As long as prayer remains freely chosen and private, extremely few people have any objection to it.

How do you plan to "reclaim" it? What will the claim consist of, and how will you handle people who don't want to go along with it?

As a Unitarian, I think the answer is obvious - a Unitarian prayer!

Since if forced to choose a denomination I would likely pick The Old Prussian Union Church I would be guided by the actions of one of its more famous pastors. No lead prayer unless the class athiest requests it!

Figuring out the pastor is not that difficult, bonus points for knowing the 'class athiest'.

The people who are worried the government is trying to take their freedom are such an unbelievable threat to their own freedom.

Led prayer of course, but you are right there is prayer allowed in school. But I just wanted that nice broad way of saying it because that is how conservatives seem to like saying it.
