One of my hands often feels hot or 'electric' or pressured while I am in a posture of worship/receiving or while in prayer. It's hard to describe the feeling. This hasn't been as intense recently, but a number of times a while ago it was so extreme...in fact, the fire and pain was almost unbearable, but it was wonderful too, if you know what I mean. I also get fire-like 'electronic' sensations across my head or face as I enter His presence with worship or prayer, though these things can also happen at random. So, not my whole body yet. But I do want my whole body to long for Him. Nobody has seen a glory cloud, but two or three times people have 'seen' the Holy Spirit 'all over' me, which is encouraging. I'd like more of this, and I'd of course welcome a glory cloud!

It wasn't always like this. Before He awakened me to His presence in a new way and freed me from my unbelief, I spent years in deep doubts, only occasionally sensing His reality. I don't want to go back, ever. But it really is a daily yieldedness, isn't it? Even one bad day can throw you off (though He never stops loving you.)

Thank you so much for your word. It really, really encouraged me!

I can't wait for Heaven. They'll be no sin to interfere with our perception of our connection to Him, and we won't be seeing through a glass darkly, but will be fully immersed in His manifest presence. We will know as we are known - no blockages! I can't wait...Though there is wonderful access to His presence even now through the blood of Jesus (and I'm expecting and hungry for even more while on Earth), the journey here is still ultimately defined by faith. As Rolland Baker would say, this is our one chance to show all those around us, the demons of Hell, the cloud of witnesses and the Angels what we think about God - against all the odds, through sheer faith and obedience. We won't really need faith in Heaven.

Managed to witness to the Muslim postman today for almost an hour, what a great guy, so open and genuine. Methinks God has his number, just from experience I could tell this was one of those divine appointments. He told me at the very end his partner has started going to a Pentecostal Church. Someone is praying for him !
His name is Shakkera of Pakistani origin, aged 35. He took some bits off me readily to read - pray for him folks !

My prayer for the Lord to send me to the hungry and thirsty is reaping dividends - only yesterday I trapped the gardener ! LOL ! He too was so interested and receptive, his name Graham - he took a bible.

Not fun but a testimony.

My uncle who passed away a week ago in hospital from pneumonia, angels were seen in his room surrounding him just before he passed away. Filling him with awe and easing his passing. I didn't seem them, but others did.

GREAT - something is definitely start to brew....I feel it.

Right now, I'm thinking of something that happened some years ago - which had such a powerful effect on me, that words can't fully describe.

It was a nice spring morning, around 9am, on the way to work via the freeway. My mind was filled with thoughts of how the Lord has truly never forsaken me through life, and how He has always kept me safe, providing whatever was needed. A sense of peace filled me as I drove along, with the traffic flowing beautifully.

The one thing that escaped me, was that the vehicle in front of me had no working tail/stop lights. So, the next moment, I hear a voice, clear as daylight, that says (translated from my native tongue) "My child, it's time to start applying brakes..." - in such a gentle, loving tone. I just agreed, as if nothing was amiss, not realizing that I was about to slam into dozens of stationary vehicles, and probably die.

Still happily unaware of the looming danger, a sort of fog surrounded me, so I could not see beyond the vehicle's windows. What was truly amazing was to see my leg move, off it's own accord apparently, and my foot stamp down on the brake pedal. As all this happened, I could not even feel my legs, let alone any muscle activity. As the fog cleared, I realized that my car had come to a complete stop, and for the first time, I saw that all the traffic had stopped.

The realization came that it could only have been the Holy Spirit that gave me that warning, and then, took control of my body, to save me from an untimely death. As the tears flowed down my cheeks, I just continued to thank the Lord for my life.

That must be the most powerful divine intervention that I've personally witnessed in a long, long time.

OK, I have been in Ghana, Africa for 10 days, and things are hotting up. I came to minister to a young lady and her sick brother. I wont go into the details but the LORD told me to come. Now she is part of a scamming racket, but my bible studies online have broken through and now she is hungry for God. I have met the henchmen, and they have come to the conclusion, I am a man of god, and have gone into hiding. I am totally safe. DOORS have now opened for me. I preached at a local Church and now I am going on TV across Africa at a special conference as the main speaker by invitation. It is ALL the LORDS doing. I simply, surrendered and obeyed and went. NOW the good bit, after 10 days of being here. LAST NIGHT, the ANGELS showed up again in my room, flashes of lightening, one after the other. WOW ! They did travel after all. LOL !!! Please pray I release the right message on Friday and do not hold back. There is a LOT of corruption here. I want to do and say EXACTLY as he would wish. I have been reading BILL JOHNSON'S book on miracles, and if prompted, I will step out the boat.

All of my cafe tables along the river were seated. My neighbor chose then to light a trash fire. My customers were engulfed in noxious smoke. I cried out to God and less than a moment later, the wind changed and blew the smoke into the neighbor's house. So they ran out with a bucket of water and doused the fire. Thank you God.

Mr. Happy - I say a special prayer for you. My son has gotten drawn into one of those scams in Ghana for a woman with lots of money (those pictures are not really women - they are a den of thieves) to bring her here to be his wife - he has lost everything, even drew out his 401 retirement and sent that - lost his car - everything - I tried to talk some sense into him but he just got mad and we have not heard from him in a year.

Thank you for obeying, I have known for some time now that you have special Blessings and calling on your life, the Lord has placed you on my heart many times.

I've have several miracles in my life this past year. First - survived a 99% blockage to the main artery in my heart - having 4 or 5 small heart attacks per day for 2 weeks. The doctor said I was on the way for the big one within hours. I had a stint put in - my heart had even grown extra arteries to compensate - I am doing fine. God is not through with me yet.

This past month - I had pain in my back so severe that I have never experienced pain such as this, not even in child birth. I just sat in tears the pain was so bad. I got out of bed and started to the living room - something happened to my legs, they would not move - I fell into the chair and started thinking I would be on a walker or in a wheelchair because there was no way my legs would move.

As I fell into the chair - I had a feeling of new energy come into my body (the only way I know to explain it) and this awful pain started in my back, worked its way down my legs and out my feet and the pain was gone - I got up and walked and walked to see if it would be ok - I am a diabetic - my sugar had jumped up to 250 - 270 (very high) - after this feeling came over me - my sugar has been normal - 110 - 120 - I feel I have had a touch from the Hand of God and healing in my body.

My poems that God has given me to help the hurting heart are on the web and at my age I was thinking I don't want those poems to fade away - they minister healing to thousands of people - I prayed that God would send someone anointed to carry them forward when it is my time to go be with the Lord - one week later a gentlemen sent me an e-mail asking to feature my poems (the answer to my prayer) - look what he has done with them. http://atouchofsenerity.net

Another one - my son and his family have really been struggling - I prayed that God would give me a job that I could help them. At age 76 people don't really look at you as a viable employee. LOL - A part time job dropped in my lap - I can do the work from home on the computer and go into the office only once or twice a week - I have been able to help my son and they are able to get things in order.

Blessings beyond the normal - God is soooo good.

what an awesome testimony! praise GOD.

Miracles come in many shapes and forms. Sometimes, they are answered prayers. Today, this forum is my miracle and my answered prayer. I didn't find it until just a few minutes ago and I'm thanking God for it.

I live in an area where Christianity is almost assumed. In our town of 999, there are almost 10 churches. However, it is mostly frowned upon to walk out of the mainstream. There is not a completely full gospel church here. When God started leading my husband and me out of First Baptist, we weren't sure what He had in mind. We are now a part of a small congregation whose vision doesn't totally line up with mine, but it's where God has us planted right now. Our pastor doesn't give an alter call and when asked by another for a healing line, he pretty much publicly ran them off. God is currently working on him. I pray blessings for him to be the man of God that God intends him to be. Sorry, I'm getting off track.

Just tonight, my husband and I were recounting the miracles we've experienced and how miracles are viewed by different people. Let me share a few, because, sad to say, I don't remember all of them.

There have been healing miracles - ulcerative colitis almost took my husband a few years ago before we really knew anything except salvation. A full gospel preacher came and prayed and my husband was touched with healing fire!

In the early days of our new walk, the devil attacked my jack russell (dog) Macy. A perfectly healthy dog suddenly couldn't walk and was bleeding profusely out of her mouth. Within 30 minutes, she lay dead on the floor of our large kennel. Let me explain, we live on a ranch (not a ranchette). We have buried more than our fair share of animals, both large and small. We know what death looks like. My husband told me to go in the house and he went to dig a grave for Macy. As I stood at the window watching my husband and also with the kennel in view, I sent up a prayer to God. Not that I hadn't been praying before, but a fervent "Lord, what can I do?" He answered me with "You know what to do!" I said "You're right, I do." I spoke out "Demons, get away from my little dog." I knew this part, but the next part came from God because I had never heard it anywhere and the words just came out of my mouth! "Angels, I commission you in Jesus' name to repair any damage they've done." As "done" came out of my mouth, that dead dog jumped up and started jumping on the gate to get out of the kennel! My husband could also see the kennel and when Macy jumped up, his head came up and he looked at me. She was perfectly fine (once she'd had a bath to get all the blood off). The only remainder of this incident was the large pool of blood on the kennel floor.

Over the last several years, there have been tornados that take sudden turns to miss our children's property, baseball-sized hail storms that have left our property undamaged, hail storms that when spoken to have quit in that instant, wounds healed miraculously, and now an angel has been posted in our barn. We can't see him and I really hope that will change. We first began to notice one of our little dogs hanging out in an empty stud stall the entire time we were at or around the barn. She would just sit quietly and stare - sometimes up at the corner of the ceiling and sometimes straight ahead. Even with everything we've seen, we attacked a possible "problem" in the natural. Our stud stalls have an exterior wall of tin or metal and then an inner lining of steel so that if the studs kick, they won't go through the outer wall. We cleaned out between the two walls. We used a flashlight to make sure we didn't have a snake or varmint taking up residence. We found nothing. One day, a friend came from out of town and noticed the little dog. She asked us if the dog usually sat there with the angel. She could see him too. Now, I always try to remember to speak to him when I go out and make sure he knows he's welcome here! I also thank God for sending angels to protect us.

Did I mention I tread all over a rattlesnake this year and was bitten, but didn't even notice the fang marks until bath time! My scheduled Bible reading for that day included Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Praise the Lord! There have been many more. Thank you God for giving me a forum.

Sharon, you are an inspiration to me, as you keep going strong in the face of adversity. Thank you so much for your prayers and kind thoughts towards me. I am back home now and the Holy Spirit touched so many people in so many different ways. I am now at that place where following the leading of the Spirit from the heart is the only viable option. It is the greatest life imaginable. It is also called "risk" LOL.

So true bro. Following the lead of the Spirit can sometimes require stepping out in faith. It reminds me of one such occasion, that happened some years ago. Myself and a colleague took a walk out of the office to go get some lunch. As we approached a pedestrian crossing, a car approached the crossing at great speed. The Spirit said "Go, my child." - and I went, walking slowly, not wanting to show distrust . My colleague stayed behind - and saw the car stop in time for him to cross. So, we got our food and walked back to the office, approaching the same crossing. Again, I saw a car speeding towards the crossing, and assumed this would be the same scenario as before. The Spirit said "Wait, my child." - and the car sped past. It was quite a lesson - to listen, obey, and not to assume. My colleague was quite touched when I explained why I waited the second time around.

Right now, I'm thinking of another one of those "just listen" lessons. It's one that I'll surely never forget.

You know when the Spirit wants to prepare you for something that's soon to happen? Like when a thought is placed on your heart, that you just can't ignore? It was some years ago, and during my quiet time, listening to the Spirit, this troubling thought came. It made me worry about my will clashing with the will of the Spirit - which, obviously is the Father's will. It lead me to pray, and specifically ask for the Spirit to override my will, and to declare that I desire my will to be placed below His will.

So, the next day, it was off to work as usual. The day was not quite pleasant, and I felt upset about what happened. Heading home, I saw someone stand next to the freeway, and willfully ignored them, saying to myself "I will NOT pick up any hitch hikers!"

Boy, oh boy - as my car sped past them, the Spirit took over. I saw my body doing exactly the opposite of what was on my mind. My foot slammed on the brakes, and my hands steered the car into the emergency lane. Next, the car got put in reverse, and I reversed towards the hitch hiker. Without a moment's hesitation, I reached for the passenger door and threw it wide open. By this time, it was clear that something was up. So, recognizing the work of the Spirit, I pick up the hitch hiker. As it turns out, it was a mother and 2 young children that had been stranded after being robbed - about 1000 miles from home. The youngest child was a little baby. The mother needed to get to a certain address, and it was clear that my role was to help them get there safely.

To my horror, the address was incomplete - making it impossible to get to the destination. Having had no GPS, or road map with me, the thought came to call someone. Turns out my mobile phone was dead. At that point, the harsh reality set in that it was dark and I'm hopelessly lost. Right then, the Spirit said "Let me direct you, my child." I gladly accepted, and He directed me. After a while, I was still not able to recognize the surroundings - and continued to listen for directions. He then said "Don't worry my child, you will know where you are soon." A few minutes later, my surroundings became familiar. Right then, I audibly thanked the Spirit. The mother was perplexed, and after explaining that I was hopelessly lost, and being directed by God's Holy Spirit, she gasped with astonishment. So, we headed to the church I attended back then, as directed by the Spirit. Before even getting to the door, the right people approached me, and I explained to them that these people needed help, adding that it is important to the Lord - since I was directed to help by the Spirit. After leaving them in their care, I went home, and marveled at how everything fit together. It was amazing to look back, and recognize how it was important for me to verbally ask for the Spirit to override my will.

What a glorious great God we serve!

Some years ago, at work, we were struggling to meet a tight deadline. Since it was a big financial environment, failure was no option. With the help of the Spirit, we nailed it, and decided to go celebrate over some coffee in a pause area upstairs. As a team, we went up and had a nice chat over some coffee.

The next moment, I see a lady enter the pause area. What was striking, was the intense pain in her eyes. Feeling drawn to her, I left the team's company and walked over to her. Turns out she's been suffering for about 20 years with a foot injury. Due to numerous botched operations, she had a tough time walking. So, out of the blue, I start talking about God, and how He sometimes allows things to happen, always for a reason, always with a plan. Inspiration filled me, and after witnessing to her for some time, her eyes started to light up, and she brimmed with joy. She spoke of an energy, that was moving around inside her. Recognizing the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in her, I explained her that the living God has chosen her to be with Him for all eternity, and that she Had just received His Holy Spirit.

We carried on talking, and she told me that she just realized that a prophecy someone gave her had just been fulfilled. She received a marvelous gift of faith. It was apparent, as she told me she knew that she'd be healed. Agreeing with her, in faith, we spoke a bit more and went back to business. I saw her again, probably a week later - and she approached me, still glowing with joy. She excitedly pointed at her feet, and showed me the new shoes on her feet. She'd been healed!

It was so special, to see someone turn to Christ like that, and be healed of a condition that doctors could not resolve for 20 years.

Spirit led - can't beat it
