"A great key to healing is to bring them into the Atmosphere of Presence first, then pray for healing!!"
I have no idea what this means, but I have a guess that's probably close enough.

Does anyone have an idea what this means biblically?

that is an awesome tweet!! LOVE it.

My best stab at it is, people were healed in Jesus' Presence. So get them in His Presence, and then pray for them. seemed straight forward enough.

It's straight forward to you?

Then how would you do that? If someone came to you and asked you to take them into the Atmosphere of Presence, exactly what steps would you take?

depends on the setting. in a church atmosphere, I would say, worship for a while, pray in the Spirit...that sort of thing. It really depends on the situation. Outside of church, well...again, depends on the situation. Get into God's presence. We should be walking in that 24/7 anyway, so the Presence should already be there and active.

Ohhhh AWESOME tweet! I love it!!!

Yeah! It just means to bring them into the Presence, into the Presence of God. Then you pray for healing. Where Jesus is, His Presence will be there...the Cloud of His Presence will rest where He is. :)

It's not necessarily a bad thing, but I think most of us are trained to expect more from God if we put ourselves in the right frame of mind, or enter into a church sanctuary or other designated sacred space. Typically we enter into the presence of God through praise and worship, and once we are in that particular "place" our faith is magnified.

I don't think we will find any place in scripture where Jesus dragged someone into the temple to heal them, because He expected God's presence to be greater in the temple than on the outside. Though he did heal a few people at synagog once, iirc.

If people have noticed that there are more successful healings that take place at church, especially during the service right after praise and worship, is that an indication that something is wrong? I don't think it is unscriptural, as Jesus did use certain methods of healing that included putting mud and spit in the eyes. I'm not sure why He did this, but it could just have been a way to give the person something tangible to hold on to as his faith was being built; similar perhaps to 45 min of praise and worship?

We know that Yahweh is with us and in us as believers. Also, there is His manifested presence. There is a heightened awareness of Him. One Biblical example of Him manifesting Himself after being ask is when Moses ask to see Yahweh's glory (Ex. 33).

How do we get into the Atmosphere of His Presence? One way is to praise and thank Him, and then hallow His name (Psa 22:4; Luke 11:2; Exo 33:10). You know get our minds off ourselves and others and just focus on Him and turn our hearts towards Him. Perhaps it's just my mindsets but it's easier for me to do this in certain locations and varying lengths of time. I need to learn to dismiss distractions and be persistent (Exo 33:7; Heb 11:6). But I know others who are able to get their minds quickly on Him in the middle of noisy crowds (Exo 33:11). Entering into His presence can be done anywhere, anytime by any believer (Matt 27:51).

It is another slogan or catchy christianeze catch phrase to get you to ask more questions about it . It puts the person as the center of attention .

I remember my second year in college ... I was getting my mail and someone came to me and asked me if I knew about "God's silk" . Never heard it before but was interested in what he was talking about . He said "God's salvation" . My mind quickly turned off and did what I could to politely get away as soon as I could . I don't like gimmicks .

BTW , I never heard the phrase , again .

A testimony: When a mom broke her leg, they sent word to their neighbors to come pray. Some bought their musical instruments and after they sung for awhile, they prayed. Mom was completely healed according to her daughter.

It doesn't really matter what terminology is used earlier or now to try to describe it, there's nothing like being in His presence.

amen tturt. It is all about HIM and His presence. When we steward that well, then when we do pray for people, it should come natural and we should get results. I don't know how any one got "it is all about the person" out of HIS presence. No, it isn't like the Catholics real presence. It is all about Jesus. or should be.

Jesus didn't use this approach. He would walk up to a lame person and say, "take up your mat and walk." And the person would walk. That's biblical and much faster because you don't have to set up the worship team next to the lame person on the street. :)

I remember the story of Paul and Silas in prison in the book of Acts, they were singing songs and worshipping God. An earthquake shook the prison and their chains fell free.

Praise/ worship intensifies the prescence of God.

It's a strange remark, especially him not speaking the Name of Jesus specifically. But Scripturally it can only be the presence of Christ:

(1Th 2:19)
for what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? are not even ye before our Lord Jesus Christ in his presence?
