I'm 22 and I've been reading manga and watching anime since I was 17.

Sorry pal. I am not as old as you, however I like anime and manga too. I am going to be a 20 year-old man this May 9.

Don't feel bad, i'm 24 and still enjoy anime. To make you feel even better ['cause it is true] my friends are in their 40's and early 50's and they too like annie-mu.

I'll be 23 this year, I've been watching anime for as long as I can remember. I'll probably watch it for the rest of my life. To me saying I'm too old for Anime is like telling me I'm too old to get on a swing or be excited Christmas morning, or anything else I did when I was kid. I think if you enjoy it you're never too old for it.

That's the great thing about anime and manga is that it's not just for children. A lot of anime that's out there wouldn't even be appropriate for children under 13. I think the issue here in America is that we have this assumption that anything that is animated is for kids, anime is just viewed as cartoons. But even anime that's aimed at teens deals with very mature themes.

21. I guess I started in the late 90s. I watch anime fairly often and sometimes read manga.

I'm 56 and I watch with my girls. Recently took them to Anime USA in Arlington. I'm not into Manga at all but I do watch certain Anime series. Got a chance to see some FMA Brotherhood. I've seen a bunch of the Detective Conan thanks to my older daughter. I like several anime movies. Heck, I'm an original "otaku"... having seen and adored Astro Boy when it first aired around 1960. LOL! Followed by Tobor The Eight Man and others of that era.

Well, seeing as how you posted this 5 years ago, we are not quite the same age, but I am 28, and I love anime. People think they are for kids when in reality many of them are geared towards adults or teenagers.

I started watching Anime back in high school, back in 80 and 81. Currently, at the age of 49, I'm still a fan.
Although i do find it harder to find material that i enjoy as much as I did when Vampire Hunter D and the various Gundam titles were the most popular material being passed around.
