How dare you have a life outside of here Wheeler ^_^

Heh, bustin your choppers, I agree with faith bro, since you scurried off I'll add (wont post anything on the hinder part of the ship) just these, there are many more, but I think these show it well too.

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Psalm 107:29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

Mat 8:26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

Ephes 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Job 12:16 With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.

Psalm 107:25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.

Job 9:8 Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.

Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

Mat 8:27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

You can catch it with floods somewhat

Rev 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

Psalm 27:4 Who have said, with our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

The tongue has the power of death

2Sam 22:5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid

Exodus 15:12 Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.

Isaiah 59:19 ... When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

Heb 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

2Titus 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Songs 8:7 Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it:

Psalm 93:3 The floods have lifted up, O LORD,the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

Psalm 27:4 Who have said, with our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

Psalm 93:4 The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

Mark 4:39 he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

Psalm 89:9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

Mark 4:40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

You can see it in the locusts too, he commands them and sets their boundaries, where in one place they destroy every green thing and in another they are commanded not to, pretty kool really. All things are truly subject to him. I sorta see the disciples (of little faith) being tossed as children yet, not seeing all that was subject to Him and learning through experience, growing in Christ. I dont think any of us is above what was typical to their experience in some way. I think we all start out as children (naturally tossed) then we becomes "no more children" more unmoveable and "stedfast" (which is His doing).

These things are pretty kool:thumbsup:

God bless you bro, good sharing, enjoy reading your posts

((hugs))

Lol….yes, the outside life interferes with life in here sometimes…or most of the time really. I wish I could send a clone of myself to work while I stay on in here. Lol.

Yes, all things…all people…are subject to Him. No one can cross the boundaries that He has set for people. There is a time for everything and a season for every purpose under heaven.

For me, the story of the disciples being fearful in the ship is an “end-time” scene. When we are called out of Babylon….out of the confusion of religious man’s teachings and traditions…by the revealing of the Word of Truth in this last day, then we are to have faith in that Truth and not be fearful of the stiff resistance we will get from those who disagree with us. Those people who will disagree will be of our own “household”…our own church…our own denomination. Those who will have “no root”… “no faith”…will be those who will receive the revealed Word of Truth with gladness but will fall away from it because of the “persecution” they will receive from their own people.

Mark 4:16-17 KJV
(16) And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

Affliction or persecution arises….

(17) And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

….as does the “great storm of wind” that arises. This is not a scene of being merely tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine but an actual “beating” of the ship by the waves that cause fear. The “waves” of course are those who will disagree with us and who will beat upon us with their evil words for not going along with them anymore. As we escape from them, they will “persecute”.

Mark 4:37 KJV
(37) And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

They will think it strange that we will no longer run with them in their church teachings and traditions which are motivated by the lusts of men.

1 Peter 4:2-4 KJV
(2) That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

All these things….excess of wine, etc are referring to the covetousness of men in the church. The “wine of Babylon” is covetousness which perverts judgment within the church. When men love money, then there is “drunkenness”….where one loses their judgment about things. There is favoritism, there is deception, there is “abominable idolatries”, “banquetings”, etc. They will not want to hear the Truth that their works are works of darkness because of their love of money. They will be ferocious in their attack. The “waves” will beat the ship as we try to make it to the “other side”.

(3) For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
(4) Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:

We are to take the “shield of faith” so as to quench all of the fiery darts of the wicked….of those who will speak evil of us as we are departing from their presence. Our faith will be tested as we receive the Word of Truth in this last day and depart from those who we had kept company with in our religious world.

Ephesians 6:16 KJV
(16) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

All those who will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution….

2 Timothy 3:12 KJV
(12) Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

…..for a man’s foes SHALL be they of his own household…of his own church.

Matthew 10:36 KJV
(36) And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Mark 10:29-30 KJV
(29) And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
(30) But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

They shall hate us for receiving the Word of Truth in this last day. Our leaving from them shall be seen as “evil”.

Luke 6:22-23 KJV
(22) Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

This will be nothing new….history repeats itself.

(23) Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

We are not to be afraid of their “terror”….neither be troubled. We are not to lose FAITH in the Word of Truth in this last day as it shall be tested.

1 Peter 3:13-14 KJV
(13) And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
(14) But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

Their mouths shall be like the “burning fiery furnace” that Nebuchadnezzar fired up for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Those who will no longer worship what religious man has set up for them to worship shall suffer persecution.

Daniel 3:12-23 KJV
(12) There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

They shall rage and be in fury. They will think it strange that we will no longer run with them.

(13) Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.
(14) Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
(15) Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

And what great faith Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had in the face of such fury as they answered the king in the matter.

(16) Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
(17) If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
(18) But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego’s answer is also the answer we are to give every man that asks us the reason for our hope.

1 Peter 3:14-16 KJV
(14) But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
(15) But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
(16) Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

Their “fury” will be FULL….FULL….FULL as was Nebuchadnezzar’s was. Their mouths shall be full of fury to the fullest…. “seven times” heated…as they will rage against His people who will receive the Word of Truth and no longer worship the image of man…his religious system. "Full of fury" = "seven times" heated more.

Daniel 3
(19) Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
(20) And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

We are to put on the whole armor of God as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were.

(21) Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
(22) Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
(23) And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego wore the whole armor of God so that they could withstand in the “evil day”…as we are to in this last day when their “burning fiery furnace” mouths shall be heated up seven times against us.

Ephesians 6:13-18 KJV
(13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
(14) Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
(15) And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
(16) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
(17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
(18) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Im me again Wheeler^_^ Ok I see where you are coming from now, I guess I was looking at it in relation to the former days (not the latter days) in respects to the afflictions (as they pertain to the gospel)

Heb 10:32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

Or perhaps as here...

1Thes 1:6 And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:

Or here...

1Peter 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Other ships with them (so to speak)

So where one calls to the former days (in respects to the fight of afflictions) the other points to the receiving the word (in the same) the latter speaks to that which is "accomplished" in respects to the same afflictions "in your brethren (much the same).

Its just the ship being tossed as children are shown as tossed by every wind of doctrine, which sorta nailed it down for me it that perhaps it was speaking of ones earlier days (which we all pass through) till "ye of little faith" have strong faith and are made aware he is in full control (wherever we are).

Definately not contradicting the very things that be true of the latter days, but trying to make it more revelant to where we might find ourselves as children tossed (in our beginnings) type thing.

But sure bro, times will get rougher without a doubt, fullness of times are spoken of:thumbsup:

God bless you brother

Hi Fireinfolding. Welcome back to “yourself” again. Lol! Good to see your original you again.

Oh yes, I definitely hear you in relation to where we are as children being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine of religious men. These things do come to their fullness….a boundary…in which the Lord will then send His messengers to speak the Word of Truth to gather us all out of those “four winds”….from every wind (the four quarters) of doctrine which has scattered His people.

Matthew 24:31 KJV
(31) And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

These messengers are those listed in Ephesians 11…sent out for the perfecting of the saints, for the works of the ministry, for the building of the body of Christ in the coming fullness of times. Ephesians 4:11-14 is an interpretation of Matthew 24:31. Sure, Paul wrote to the church in Ephesus 2000 years ago….but he also writes to us especially today. He “speaks” to us in this last day in Christ Jesus. The Word is living for today and not in the dusty tomb of history. We are of the spiritual
“Ephesians”…those who will first trust in what they will hear in this last day.

Ephesians 4:11-14 KJV
(11) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
(12) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Right now many are all scattered about by every wind of doctrine….scattered in many denominations and not agreeing on much. But in this last day….in the fullness of times, He sends His Word of Truth in the mouths of those who first trust in that Word to gather together His elect. We are to be gathered together unto a perfect man. Right now…..we do not see this.

(13) Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Right now….we only see carnal “children”….babes in Christ…being tossed to and fro….carried about with every wind of doctrine. Notice they are being “carried about”….and not being beaten with the “waves”.

(14) That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

The “beating” comes when the tares are separated from the wheat. Jesus who is the Word of Truth brings the “division” in this current man’s world of religion. The wheat will believe in what they hear. The tares will not and will speak evil of the Way of Truth and will “persecute” those who will receive it. He will divide the tares from the wheat. He will divide the light from the dark. He will divide the goats from the sheep.

Luke 12:51-52 KJV
(51) Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
(52) For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

He will redeem….deliver us…from those who are currently living in error. And when we “escape” from them, they will not be happy about it. But we are to “fear not”…..

Isaiah 43:1-2 KJV
(1) But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

….for none of the things they will say shall hurt us as we follow Him out of their “prison”. When we will “pass through the waters”, He will be with us. The “rivers” of the wicked hard speeches that will come out of their mouths will not overflow us. When we will walk “through the fire”, we shall not be burned. None of their evil words….the beating waves, the waters, the rivers, the fire…shall hurt us as He will be with us. Such comfort for a coming time indeed! but we are NOT TO FEAR. Perfect love for the Word of Truth shall drive out fear.

(2) When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Going back to Daniel......The “burning fiery furnace” will be the mouths of those who will speak evil against those will receive the Word of Truth in this last day as they are leaving. Every one who will live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted by their very own….for that is who had persecuted Jesus….his own brothers did. Cain killed Abel. Esau hated Jacob. History only repeats itself…and we have all of the examples in front of us in the Bible. We just have to REMEMBER these things or be doomed to repeat their mistakes.

Daniel 3:20-26 KJV
(20) And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were bound in their coats, hosen, hats and other garments. This is really saying that they were prepared with the armor of God. We are also to be gird about with the Truth and having on righteousness as a garment. We are to walk about in the “fire” in peace….not rendering evil for evil. We are to have the shield of faith and the helmet of salvation. We are to have all of these things…..Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, trust in salvation and the Word of God as they “roast” us with their evil words.

The Son of God….the Word of God…shall be with us in the “fire”. He shall be with us as we walk in the “midst of the fire” of people’s hateful words. We shall suffer “no hurt” from their evil speaking.

(24) Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
(25) He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
(26) Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

We are to abstain from rendering evil for their evil. We are to abstain from their alluring words of vanity which they will use to deceive people back into their “fold”.

1 Peter 2:11-12 KJV
(11) Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

If we behave honestly towards them….although they will speak against us as evildoers….they shall in the end behold how we had handled ourselves and they will glorify God in the Day of the their visitation for their evil speaking. They shall take note that we did not render evil for their evil.

(12) Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Nebuchadnezzar also did glorify God when he saw how Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were protected by God. The “fire” of Nebuchadnezzar’s full fury (symbolized by the furnace being heated seven times more than usual) had no power on them. Think about this in relation to the "second death" having no power over us...for those who will first trust in His Word of Truth.

Daniel 3:27-30 KJV
(27) And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

Then Nebuchadnezzar glorifies God….as those of the church will also after they are visited for their “sins”…their missing of the mark with their mouths.

(28) Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

SIN = “TO SPEAK AMISS”…..to speak evil against the Truth and against those who will receive the Word of Truth. This decree still holds for us today....in this coming fullness of times.

(29) Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
(30) Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.

Hi wheeler! Yes I have made the connection with the second death and the fire that had "no hurt" upon them, but I sure have a hard time going from tossed boats to fires^_^

Nevertheless some great comparisons, could very well be speaking the same thing in different ways. I suppose I have always butted up against (past thinking) and future thinking (in my own mind) and always sorta went with the present tense of things. Because one would push things back 2000 years ago and the other so far off in the future, whereas the life of His words are rarely presented in the present tense (experiencially so)

Well, if you know what I mean, because that which was will be again (type thing). One doesnt nessesarily negate the other (well not in my thinking)

But anyways, good post bro, I'll be back on lurker status, so I will catch you later gater

Hugs  and God bless you

Fireinfolding, you don't have to go. lol. I've been really busy day and night lately...just takes me longer to respond nowadays.

Well, whether burning fiery furnaces or waves beating on the ship or fiery darts being launched at us…..it’s all saying the same thing. These things are all “parables” of much deeper things concerning Christ and the church. It shows the plan of God in every story. The time is coming when He will speak no more in “proverbs” or parables, but He will show us plainly of the Father.

John 16:25 KJV
(25) These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.

These interpretations of the parables of the Bible are the “many infallible proofs” to be shown to us in this coming time. He will speak of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God in our hearts. We shall “see” Him….in the eyes of our understanding.

Acts 1:3 KJV
(3) To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

About that past, present and future…..the Lord is, was and is to come. He is present today, yesterday and tomorrow. He is the beginning and the “ending”….the conclusion.

Revelation 1:8 KJV
(8) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

The Lord God does nothing unless He first reveals His secret to His servants the prophets….who then warn the people so they can take shelter in Him. Those secrets are revealed through the revelation of the hidden plan of God behind all of the parables.

Amos 3:7-8 KJV
(7) Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
(8) The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?

The many parables of the Bible repeat themselves. They tell a story before it comes to fruition so that those who hear can act on it. The “chariots of God” are “myriads” (20,000 here in the KJV). The word for “angels” here in Psalms 68:17 is “shinan” which means “CHANGES, repetition”. The Lord is among all of the changed, repeated interpreted parables…..the many “infallible proofs”.

Psalms 68:17-18 KJV
(17) The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

And He gives gifts to men….making them His messengers of those “angels”….or changes.

(18) Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

The Scriptures are “changed” from being read in the darkness of man’s fleshly mind (the corruptible) to the mind of Christ (the incorruptible) who shows us many “infallible proofs” by their transformation. What we thought was being said is “changed” like a garment in front of our very eyes….the “eyes of our understanding”. With this change, we also are changed from the power of darkness to the kingdom of His Son. We shall no longer argue over various meanings neither will we be led astray by the fleshly thinking of men any mores….but we shall all gather together from every wind of doctrine in the revealed Word of Truth.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 KJV
(51) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
(52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

This is the idea also behind the “transfiguration” of Jesus. It is Jesus who will interpret the Scriptures before us….Moses and the Prophets.

Matthew 17:2-8 KJV
(2) And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

Moses and Elijah “talk” with him…..Christ Jesus speaks in them….in the “changed” words of their testimony of Christ.

(3) And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
(4) Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

And we are to hear the voice of Jesus and not man’s interpretation which is corrupted.

(5) While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
(6) And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
(7) And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

And with His knowledge, we see no man after the flesh any more….save Jesus only in all of the Scriptures. He speaks in all of the testimonies of the saints of the Bible. They are “changed”.

(8) And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

But who will believe the report of those who have “seen” the face of Jesus in the changed Scriptures.

Romans 10:14-17 KJV
(14) How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
(15) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
(16) But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
(17) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Even the eleven had to be “unbraided” with their unbelief and hardness of heart. They could not believe the report of Mary Magdalene nor of the two disciples who walked towards Emmaus.

Mark 16:11-14 KJV
(11) And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

He appeared in “another form” unto the two disciples.

(12) After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.
(13) And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.

But in His love for us, He rebukes and chastens us….

(14) Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

Good post my brother:thumbsup:

Fireinfolding, you don't have to go. lol. I've been really busy day and night lately...just takes me longer to respond nowadays.

That has nothing to do with anything (promise)^_^

I recall you just come back from a dry time, where you clammed up a bit for (a couple months if I remember correctly)

MY TURN!!

You at least demonstrated some wisdom, If only I could shut up when I am dry^_^

I thought, for the first time (I'll try something different) I'll hang (with others) during it (rather then take off, which I normally do) but thats not working out so good for me lol

In my absolute boredom (in such times) I find other less desireble forms of entertainment sorta entertaining (like smilie shopping)
JC_hulahoop-girl.gif
LOL

Anything to ward off the boredom, but in these times I havent a thing substantial to add anyway, so might as well lurk (for the most part).

I'll just interupt the flow of a good study anyways.

So continue on my brother, Im still here reading. Well, it sure beats thinking your alone talking to yourself, I assure you (you are not)

God bless you

Smilie shopping? :D LOL! I really like your sense of humor.

Yep, you are right about the "clamming up" part. I'm good at that. :p I've been thinking lately about going back to shutting up again. But when I get up in the morning, its there and I just can't help it. lol. I need to go to compulsive-forum-posters anonymous and seek help.

Well no matter what....it is reassuring that you are here...visible or invisible. sometimes I can just hear the echo in the void of dead space and wonder if I am a bit looney. Oh wait, there is no sound in space is there? If someone says something out loud and no one hears it, was it really said?

Anyway, compulsive-forum-poster group here I come. do they have a thread? lol.

God bless you Sis! Thank you for your patience.

Just a response to a thread I just read concerning Saul/Paul being a false prophet.

Those who have wrested Paul’s letters are the ones who are the false prophets….or false apostles. Peter calls Paul a “beloved brother”…and his letters contain much wisdom….hidden wisdom.

Now, dont tell me your head doesnt spin when you read his words.
What is P/saul really saying. Ill give the passage and you can do the research. However keep in mind the church teaches this is you the old man putting on the new man. False. Paul says much about the deeds of G-d.

Understand here who he speaks of when speaking of deeds.
Romans: Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law

Colossians: Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

Friend i would make sure before you just put off G-d.

P/saul fits the bill when Jesus says, I come in my fathers name and you believe me not, However one will come in his own name after me, him you will believe.
Paul claims to be the light to the gentiles.
He steals his conversion from the Book of Daniel. He has reason to change his story on 3 different accounts in the book of acts chapter 9, 22, 26...READ READ READ
But we cannot put all the blame on p/Saul, because James the murder helped him out by his vague petition sent out to the gentile nation with 4 measly laws. book of acts chapter 15

Just what we need, another Anti-Paul member on CF ehehe [were you under a different username at one time?]

Not sure what ya mean by "James the murder", as he is the one that accused the Judean rulers of murdering our Lord Jesus ;)

http://www.herealittletherealittle.net/index.cfm?page_name=Lazarus

James 5:6 Ye condemn, ye murder the Righteous-One, not He is resisting to Ye.
[Matt 27/Reve 9:21]

Revelation 9:21 And not they reform/repent out of their murders, nor out from their sorceries.......

Just a response to a thread I just read concerning Saul/Paul being a false prophet.

Those who have wrested Paul’s letters are the ones who are the false prophets….or false apostles. Peter calls Paul a “beloved brother”…and his letters contain much wisdom….hidden wisdom.

2 Peter 3:15-16 KJV
(15) And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
(16) As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Paul’s letters IN THEIR MISUSE…their wresting…. have persecuted the church so to speak. The church has been “persecuted” and put into a “prison” by those who have wrested his epistles. But the Lord comes in this last day to deliver him out of the “mouth of the lion”…that is, out of the mouths of religious men who wrest his words for their own advantage.

2 Timothy 4:17-18 KJV
(17) Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

The Lord shall deliver him from “every evil work” that has been brought on by religious men who wrest his words.

(18) And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

This is all being said here in 2nd Corinthians….kind of cryptically….. “for I will say the Truth, but NOW I forbear.” His letters would reveal the Truth in the appointed time that Jesus Christ preaches the revealed Word, but at the wresting of his letters….he now "forbears." Yet, he glories in his “infirmities” because it is all being done for the revealing of the glory of God in this last day.

2 Corinthians 12:5-7 KJV
(5) Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.
(6) For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.

There are many revelations contained in Paul’s letters…which have been kept hidden by the “mouth of the lion”……by the “messenger of Satan”…by the mouths of “unlearned and unstable” men who twist his letters for their own covetousness. His letters have been “buffeted” by the mouths of men who preach falsehoods.

(7) And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

Saul received “letters” in order to bind many in the church and bring them into “prison”. Satan and his ministers have misused Paul’s letters in order to enslave many in the religious prisons of man for the last 2000 years.

“Saul” means “to ask”….as Satan asked God to try Job. Satan asked to sift Peter as wheat. And he asked to haul many of the church off to prison by the wresting of Paul’s letters. Satan and his ministers have “received letters”…Paul’s letters…in order to put many of the church into a spiritual prison of sorts. The purpose: to try the church when the revelation of the Word of Truth is presented in this last day. Our faith shall be tested whenever we will hear the Word of Truth in this coming time. Will we overcome?

Acts 22:4-5 KJV
(4) And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
(5) As also the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished.

How does the devil cast the church into prison so that it may be tried? By the wresting of Paul’s letters.

Revelation 2:10 KJV
(10) Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

It is interesting to note that “Saul” and “Sheol” come from the same root word. Jesus has the keys of Hades….or Sheol…. to let His church out.

Revelation 1:17-18 KJV
(17) And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
(18) I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Paul’s letters are that “chosen vessel” to bear His name before all of us in this last day. Many revelations shall be revealed.

Acts 9:13-16 KJV
(13) Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
(14) And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
(15) But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

How great things Paul has suffered for His name’s sake. His letters have been wrested by religious men for the last 2000 years to imprison the church. But the Lord will reveal the hidden wisdom in his letters. He has suffered (his "infirmities" did not stop)for Jesus for the last 2000 years but he will be glorified in Christ in this last day as the Lord will use the revealing of Paul’s letters for our departure from religious man’s prisons.

(16) For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

Amen. It baffles me, the animosity against Paul. The arguments against him have no basis. NONE of any parts of his letters are in error.

See thats the onlyway for P/saul to have another witness. The slippery theologians make G-ds WORD out to be this little wiggly spirit that makes you do things. FALSE>. Plus it gives a path for destruction.

I know some who speak in tongues every sunday. but ask of them one scripture and cannot answer with the holy ghost they say they have. if this power is given to the mind in the form of holy spirit why doesnt it do what Jesus says, the comforter will guide you in all things, bring all things to your remember all that I have spoke, and teach you in all things. Its because he speaks of the HOLY BIBLE. With out it you cannot read one passage or know one word.

Be filled with G-ds WORDS, the path of his very words led back to him. Be filled with them and youll know his voice when he speaks. He is the shepard know his words, know his voice and when the wolf comes not to the door but comes in unawares we can call on G-d with his words and he will notice that the words are his words and come to the rescue.

The Word of God is not living and is dead without the Holy spirit teaching all things. It is written, brother in Christ.

My favorite scripture from Jesus:

Mark: He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

Who teaches us all things through God's Word? Do we depend on our own understanding? What does it mean to be re-generated? And how does that happen?

Here in Isaiah:

Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me

He gave us all minds not just one or another. but me and you also. Command truth as he says.
