i need to trust god which i find really hard to do.everytime i give it a try i hear a voice in my head saying negative things to discourage me.i need to show i have faith.all i really want is to trust god.tq.

As with our bodies....the more we 'exercise' our faith and trust, the stronger we will become.
Anything to the contrary is from the evil one; if you were NOT close to the Lord he wouldn't bother with you.
So take heart in these struggles, and and know that the Lord will use them for your greater good.

I will pray for you.
God holds you and doesn't want to let go of you. It's the devil who wants you to break away from Him. But God is and always will be there for you. No matter what. No matter how weak, small or wrong you feel. You don't have to prove Him anything. He knows you like no one else does. And if you really want to trust God, like you say, you can ask Him without shame to help you grow into trusting Him. And to silence this voice that is leading you away from Him. He will listen, He will hear you, and He will help you. He promised to.
