I am intending to release a book this year which addresses the symbiosis between law and grace. As part of my research into the preface I have asked some questions to a variety of Christian friends and family --- now it's your turn. Please do not make too long a post, but I would love to know your thoughts.
1. How do you define legalistic?
2. Do you think Jesus abolished
(a) the ten commandments
(b) civil/cermmonial law of Israel
(c) the moral law as a whole?
3. Do you think there is a relationship between law and grace?
4. How do you understand the term keeping the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus?
5. What does "for by grace are ye saved, through faith" mean to you?
6. What does the term "not under law, under grace" mean to you?
7. Do you believe a moral law existed before Sinai?
Would really appreciate your posts on this. Please note that none of your individual responses will be published in anyway, but this is rather a process of ongoing research for me.
Blessings
