Subject: Can you see Jesus? (let alone "put on his mind")

You cannot SEE Jesus, let alone "put on his mind"!

The song says, "Cast your eyes upon Jesus! Look full in his glorious face". But men cannot cast their eyes upon whom they cannot see, Matthew 11:25-27. Moses put a bonnet and veil over his face because the glory of his "law-giver" role was to bright for the Hebrews to face. Jesus was a lot brighter than Moses and the people could not SEE him even though he stood before them, John 14:9-12. That is some kind of awesome glory! But Jesus stands so tall NOW … that men cannot see him today. Not only is Heaven too high for the visual range of human eyes, but Jesus GLORY was too bright for men even with a veil of flesh! If you cannot see Jesus' face, how can you "put on his mind"? That is asking too much, isn't it? You will say, "Mr. GOOD NEWS, you are presenting mental dilemmas and providing NO ANSWERS"! Okay! Now for some answers (solutions?).

Jesus is the WORD of God! To SEE his face you must SEE his Words and by "seeing" we do not mean your ability to read them. There are 7 SEALS your Father placed on His Word and "NO MAN is worthy to "cast their eyes upon" this BOOK, to loosen the seals , or to open it and read it! This is intriguing! To see Jesus you have to be able to see the WORD and that is "impossible" to do with those binding 7 SEALS that church-men have been trying to break unsuccessfully. Christians want to think that they can break God's Word about those seals and that by intense study ("to show themselves approved" to whom? Don't kid yourself!) and going to theological seminaries they can defeat God's strategy and discover what is in the BOOK. What asinine ARROGANCE can be found in the wisdom of man! In order to SEE Jesus you must first recognize His face. After doing that we can discuss wearing his mind as a crown and a mark in our foreheads.

Okay! No more playing around! Here is the FACE of Jesus in WORD form. See if you can recognize him! This is from GOOD NEWS, volume 3. Check it out! http://www.goodnewsinc.net/v3gn/goodnews.html

What a surprise! It is marvellous to know that YOU live in Singapore. You are my sister and it is great to know you too! Isn't love wonderful? We are all members of the FAMILY of God. I wish all men in all nations understood this and acted accordingly.

Well, as far as 'seeing" him here on earth, we may have and not even known it. Remember how Jesus returned unto the disciples and their eyes were "holden" so that they did not recognize him, as they walked and talked together. We are told to entertain strangers, because some of them may be angels. So many things are possible.
As far as "seeing" God in pictures or carvings, according to the bible that is wrong. Nobody knows what God looks like, (Revelation and Ezekiel give an awesome description). And the closest thing we have to an image of Jesus is the Shroud that was so questionable even unto the scientists. There are artists who have created portraits of Jesus and the prophets; but is their minds eye correct?? In my own opinion, it is better to feel God rather than try to see him; and not focus on a painting or a cross to pray to.

Hello!

Thanks for reading the post. Do you know that God said, "I will dwell in them and walk in them"? Jesus said, "He that receives you receives me and Him that sent me". "ONENESS" means when you see one you have seen them all, because all the children are look alikes. "Look alikes" refer to character, nature, and personality. Consider Matthew 5:43-48. In order to be called the children of your Father which is in Heaven by others, you MUST exhibit Father's nature and ways. This is where the cliche "like Father like Son" comes in. "Oneness" as Jesus described it in John 17:20-23 means we all have "one nature" of holiness and righteousness. If that is the case when one sees you, he also sees Christ, because you look alike! :)
