Wow! Where to begin. This covers so much. Actually, this is the whole focus of our lives to do just this. These are the works that Jesus did, and we are to do even greater works than Him.
But my experance is that we are really just observers. We are there to give a witness and a testimony for God and the work He is doing in people and in their lives.
If God wants to heal someone, He does not need us to be there to take part in it. Although I believe it brings Him greater Glory that He is able to use us in this way. Still, I think the main objective is so that we can tell others about what God is doing in people today. How He rescues, saves, heals and delivers, how He give us joy unspeakable full of contentment and peace.
In this way, when others see what God is doing, they also will reach out to Him for their miracle or for whatever they are needing from Him. Of course there are going to be persecutions, but that is to be expected. If they persecuted Jesus, than how much more us. But we keep busy with the work the Father has for us and do not worry about God's enemys to much. Thanks, JohnR7

Why did Jesus Teach the 12 to do the stuff, and commision them with the same commision he had. Just as the Father has sent me so send I you?

Was this ordinary "stuff" or supper dupper "stuff" that He commissioned them to do?
The Early Church had the Early Rain, and they were sent forth to plant the seeds. The rain was given so that the seeds would take root and grow. Now that we are at the end of the Church age, the Angels are sent out to bring in the harvest. The job of the church is to glean the fields to get what the Angels can not get. But they do throw handfulls on purpose our way, to build us up and to strength us in our work. All of this is in the book of Ruth.
We are beginning to receive the latter rain, so God is working though us in a more powerful way than He worked in the Early Church. The latter rain is given so that the fruit will come to full maturity. Anyone who knows anything at all about fruit, knows that it takes more water to mature a fruit, than to get the seeds to take root. A mature fruit has a LOT of water in it. Jesus taught us to preach the Gospel. He said if we preach the godpel signs and wonders would follow. He didn't say preach that I do signs and wonders and I'll do more.
So I guess if you think the gospel is about signs and wonders, then that's what you expect.

I dont think the gospel is about signs and wonders, it is about the kingdom of God, a God who cares for men, who moved His son to compassion as he took care of the needs of suffering Humans, including hope for the future, salvation, eternal life. Sings and wonders are not to put on a show but to help our fellow men as we look to our father for the ability, just like Jesus did. One day you will see Him face to face and see that you are just like Him.
Jesus taught them, then he sent them, then they came back and reported, he went with them at times, and let them go alone at others. I believe that The Father desires the presence of jesus in the world today. The latest generations are not finding the weak message of the current system credible.
The Lord is rasing up young people full of compasion to do the work of Jesus. They will be like Christ TEACHING and DOING. These youth will not be hindered by the current religious system.
Jesus Said "GO MAKE DISCIPLES" Just as the father has sent me so I send you.
He left us an example so we are to be like Him in this world. (Peter)
We are partakers in the divine nature. (Peter)
He said the disciples should, heal the sick, cast out demons, declaring the kingdom of God was at hand
Jesus helped people when He was moved to compassion, not to prove a point.
The Father's love for us is why we lay on our hands for healing of men. we have compassion just like Jesus and we do waht He did because he told us to.

I am afraid that today, with a few exceptions, we talk about a unconditional (agapeo) love of God while we put conditions on our love, Forgivness and we don't forgive, Caring when we dont care. Eg. If the people of God are commisioned to make disciples then we must be disciples, Disciples heal the sick. A poor man is sick and we pray for him he is not instanly healed, so now we must get him to a doctor (because God Cares) and follow through on his well being. When is the last time I did that?
do unto others a man or woman is on the street and ask you for some money to eat or drink or whatever. The spirit of God reminds you to give to whoever asks. you pull out your wallet when the same Spirit reminds you to do unto others as you want them to do for you. Looking at a five, a 10 and a20, you ask youself which one do I want as you give your 20.
Your at work and someone is hurt very bad, do you pray for them or preach salvation?
Jesus said make disciples, not get people saved, I am an evangelist at heart, salvation is upmost but we can't forget the call to heal the suffering etc.
Is it not true that you and I talk more than we walk?
I want to change this as I see God leading.
We can do what the Father is doing just like Jesus. You know that is what He wants.
I can only do what my father is doing (Jesus)

I'm worried that you don't believe that your eternal life has already started.
2 Corinthians 6:2 tells me today is the day of salvation. Not tomorrow. And it is important to note that Paul tells us that we commend ourselves as ministers of God in things like patience, tribulations, stripes, imprisonments, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love, etc...

Jesus said preach the kingdom. Tell me where he says cast out demons.
He says these signs will follow those who believe. He also tells us that many will cast out demons in his name, but he will deny them in the last day saying, "I never knew you."
God abides in you if you have love. Love before ALL things. All of 1 John talks about love and God in you.

Brother I am not looking for miracles am I clear? they follow people who care and are in God's kingdom. Eternal life is what I am enjoying NOW, The Kingdom Of God is NOW, We must do the work of the kingdom If your enemy is hungry feed him. I don't now how to say it any clearer, we do what did and told us to do. OK.

As I was leaving church today, God really impressed it upon me that today is the day of salvation. Now is the appointed time. I think that he means day in terms of 1000 years. So actually, God has given us the gentiles two days of salvation and we are very close to the end of the second day. But in terms of our lives, today is the day He wants to do a work in our life. Not tomorrow. Today is the day, and right now is the appointed time. People who are waiting on God to do something at some future moment in time are missing out on what God is wanting to do right now, in this moment of time. Thanks, JohnR7

I do not have any personal experiences worth mentioning. I do lay hands on the sick (like my wife when she's ill) and during care group -- praying for one another.
But bless God I'm in a church where the gifts of healings, word of knowledge and the occasional prophecy (all have come to pass) operate thru my senior pastor. We've had many healing miracles too, esp in the area of cancer. He and his assistant pastors have also cast out demons b4.

When I was saved 13 years ago I honestly thought God would send me out on the street corner and preach the Gospel. Hey I was ready to go. He healed me from alcohol, but I was still not a whole person. That has taken time. He also had a different plan for my life. He allowed me to become a mother. I have had three children in 13 years.
I am honestly just now learning about spiritual warfare. I have a family that is lost and dying. My father, brother, uncle, cousins are all either addicted to drugs, alcohol, starving themselves to death or into the occult.
I have a big heart for the poor. And an even bigger heart for the downtrodden! I do believe as a former alcohol addict, I have a message to share. I believe God is preparing me for bigger things. He has given me this heart and my experiences.
Who knows maybe He will ask me to go on that street corner after all, but I will not go unless I am sent.

This is not a miricle but it is a wonder.
We we at a small store when the man in front of us had only a credit card to pay for the food he was buying. the clerk said they could not take the card. The person I was with asked how much the total was, it wa 9.97 I watched my friend give what i Knew was His last 10 dollar bill to pay for it.
the clerk asked do you know this guy? my friend said no, She asked why di you do thet . he said that is what we are supposed to do.
