I worked tonight and listened to a Boston radio talk show whilst eating a late dinner.

The topic was a Liberal Arts College which will hence forward ask the whether their applicants are "LGBT" . This question will be on the admission application.
Those who self-identify as LGBT, could be given offered additional monies, in an effort to increase diversity.

One guest BeBe, commented that he thought the Gay lifestyle contributed to adverse weather, i.e. Hurricanes. Now to the point, Dan the talk show host, and Irish Catholic , made light of the caller and stated, " God makes us all, and God doesn't make mistakes"

I messaged Dan via Facebook, he does answer me. I told Dan, that God has made us all, but that our behaviors and proclivities are not made by God. I exampled Pedophiles and Rapists. I am sure no one dreams of being either, but for whatever reason, they have such proclivities. But never the less, God did make them.

I am not equating Pedophilia with Homosexuality, but the point is, that because God created us, this does not mean we are perfect beings.

Dan also mentioned, that most Catholics would disagree with the caller named BeBe. I copied and pasted the Catechism's view on Homosexuality, and told Dan , that the Church would also disagree with him.

The next Caller also mocked BeBe and stated that her Church, UCC were open and affirming. That is a common buzzword that the church is open to anything.

Point is, that even though I disagreed with BeBe, I supported his right to an opinion, and disagreed with mocking him.

They constantly mock our side when we stand up for all that is pure and holy, but when someone does it to them they are so offended. The biggest culprits are that group out in San Francisco that openly mocks our women religious. I'm just sick of the double standard!
That is a great point.

eastcoast_bsc, I think you were right in what you did.

God bless.

Dan is a Catholic, but doesn't know his faith very well. I've listened to him often on my way home from classes and sometimes I just shake my head at the stuff he spouts :D

But that is one tactic I notice a lot of "ultra" liberals do. They mock anyone who disagrees with them. That is how they silence the other side!
