The gospel is the good news of God's hands and activity to bring salvation to us from the beginning and for us to no longer be entangled in sin, through the work of His Son.

Well say what you will.......The sacrifice Christ made on the cross shedding His blood for the redemption of my soul is what my testimony is all about if you can't see the gospel at work in my testimony, then you actually don't really understand what the gospel is.......
And they overcame him (satan) by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.......

testimonies are the results of the gospel working, Of course everyone knows testimonies are not the life saving gospel itself, how you picked that up out of a post is beyond me, "saying the gospel is what my testimony is all about"? The gospel is about reconciliation of the lost back to God through the blood of Jesus as the perfect sacrifice for sins......I'm not sure how many times I need to post it, for you to understand that.....maybe you need a testimony of your own, that way you will understand how the testimony is results of the gospel at work, what is the function of the Evangelist? do they begin telling the gospel, or is the work of the Evangelist telling people the life changing influence and power the gospel has had on ones life, causing others to want the same, then they share the gospel. you seem to be just looking for an arguement, thats not a good fruit

Same preached the gospel others were sent by Him to shew how great of things God had done for them
Like here...
Luke 3:38 Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,
Luke 8:39 Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.
Luke 8:40 And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.
Then we all know the woman with the waterpot and her saying...
John 4:28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,
John 4:29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
John 4:30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.
John 4:39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
Theres a couple examples

Christ was revealed in Paul to preach Him (Him being their hope). Always have an answer to give one of the hope that is in you. And that the communication of thy faith become effectual to the acknowledging of every good thing that is in you by Christ Jesus.

He is the hope of the gospel, they were preaching the hope, and according to the power of God Christ, which works also in them which believe
