It makes sense, they're going to continue to hate us until we stop sticking our nose in their business. Obama would probably have more favorable numbers if he had actually started ending wars like he said he was going to and letting the countries get on with their own politics, but instead he disappointed his base, including myself, and continued with America's doomed foreign policy.

Well golly, he went on the "apology tour" after he was elected. But being a America is sorry for being America Prez only draws distain from those in the middle east. They only respect/fear strength. I'm sure liberals in retrospect are distancing themselves from this "unexpected" fact but maybe we can keep trying to negotiate with Muckmud Iminajihad.

Must be distressing for the guy to lose so much of his base like that......

Your a bad bad man woseley.

Really? I thought he was actually pretty accurate with that statement. Anyone else remember the encouragement we of the United States were getting from the Middle East to vote for Obama???

The middle east isn't his base.

And of course they were encouraging people to vote for him.

If china was invading america and bombing us back into the stone age and someone in china wanted to stop that wouldn't you support them?

Sure I would. So would you. However, you know what that would give that Chinese guy? A support base.

Hmmm. Exactly who is Barack Obama popular with at all?

Well, there's the media, of course; and around a dozen posters on the American Politics forum. After that, it gets sort of cloudy.....

Just as an FYI, and I would never want reality to get in the way of a good bash, but there is a difference between Obama, the guy, and Obama, the President of the USA.

Arab psychology is based on equating the nation with the ruler. Having a lot of dictators, many US backed, things tend to go like that.

So since America is still making lots of mistakes in the Middle East, that's what you get. People do not like Obama, the president of the USA.

I know that foreign nations are sometimes hard to understand, but it is not like you have had over a decade to learn or anything (you could claim to have read a book or two that you cannot discuss, but that would be unwise).

Wrong, actually the majority of the Developed world does.

You have statistics on this from the majority of the developed world? If so, by all means post them. I am intensely curious.

Well, that's odd that his popularity soared with his goodwill tour and has sunk with his expansion of bombing in the Middle East - that seems to directly contradict your theory of international relations.

Muckmud Iminajihad.
Grow up.
