I just watched Torchwood season 1 with my boyfriend. Do you here like it?
I think I did not like it as much as I like Dr.Who.

I don't like it as much as Doctor Who, but I do like it! I also like the Sarah Jane Adventures.
If it's British and Sci-Fi, I'll probably like it!

Hi Superdog! As a matter of fact, I do like Red Dwarf! Unfortunately, we don't own a copy of the series--had to borrow it from a friend, but I have watched only the first season. It was my "television to fold the laundry by".

Hi Guys,
Sorry not been around for a while work has been a bit mad and I have to work shifts now which is quite tiring.
I have started watching the new Torchwood...now its gone over to the other side of the pond as well as over here!
I was reading a DW Magazine that is sold here in the UK for younger viewers (not just because it had a Dalek keyring, Dalek shoelaces, Cybermen Wristband and various badges on the front cover...shiny!) and kids can actually write to the Doctor and ask questions?
" Dear Doctor, why does the TARDIS have such complicated controls?"
THe Doctor replies...
"THey're not complicated. Not really. okay so maybe I don't know what all of them do. Like the flashing green one. And the shiny red thing. Anyway its more fun to make up what they do, otherwise it would be all boring and I don't do boring. Still if you do see a copy of the TARDIS manual, do bung it my way. There's a whizzy spinny knob thingy under the space Tremulator and its been buzzing a bit. Should probably find out why. "

To those watching Torchwood:
What is RTD doing to Jack?!? He is so out of character this season! And certain scenes were just NOT appropriate for my viewing audience at home. And, as far as story line goes--totally unnecessary. We could have used our imagination.

There was some of the inappropriate stuff in the last season of Torchwood, too. I'm still not seeing it, but hopefully it will come out in a place where I can watch it.

Just popping in to say "hi" to fellow Who fans. I was lucky that our PBS stations (when I was a wee youth) re broadcast the original series. Tom Baker was the Doctor of my youth, but was really lucky to see plenty of reruns of previous Doctors and the ones that followed.
I'm now raising my teen daughter on the likes of Matt Smith!

My first introduction to Dr. Who was reading the novels when I was in college, and The Genesis of the Daleks was the first one I read. I still don't understand why he came to the conclusion that he could not stop the creation of the daleks. I wish he had, then we wouldn't have to suffer through those episodes that are getting more and more outrageous as we go. LOL.
